We had trouble finding the meeting point in the rain, so Yorgos kindly came to find us instead. Since this was not our first day in the city, Yorgos customized our experience to avoid seeing things we already had and walked at our pace (slow). We had a wonderful stroll through the market to find the items we were looking for, before Yorgos showed us around the Plaka district, then to see the changing of the guard in Syntagma Square as requested. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the city, did not rush, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. He even spent extra time to walk us to a nearby spot for refreshments after our tour!

For our honeymoon we visited Athene. So we looked for a guide to show us some unique spots but also to show us the authentic life of the athenians. We picked Irini, her story fitted ours. And this was such a good experience! She showed us all the important corners of Athene with so much relavant and fun backstories, a adventure through different era’s of the history. We felt at home and not the touristic wanderer anymore. It fell all in place. Even spots we already seen got interesting again. Her whole attitude is friendly and assertive. She takes the lead in a kind way that fitted our general idea. In the end she showed us the not-touristic places to eat. And thats already worth it. We hope we meet more guides with this warm Irini attitude. 100 percent recommended when you visit Athene. For bigger groups but also for couples like us.

We had a great time with Tatialena on our walking food tour of Athens. She truly f gave us a taste of Athens with the places she took us to for food and her stories about Athens and Greece. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a walking food tour of Athens or for any other tour of Athens for which she is available.

Arianna was great! She’s an endless fountain information. She adds so much to what you’re seeing. I would love to have her along on all our excursions.

Vasiliki was a great guide! She catered around allergies. She was very knowledgeable of the area we went in Athens. Would absolutely book her again in other areas around Greece as well. Super fun!

I took a mythology tour with John. John is so personable and full of knowledge of the city, its history and Greek mythology. Don’t leave without doing a tour with him. I felt so taken care of and comfortable running around Athens with him. John speaks English beautifully, so no worries there. I’d like a follow up class!

Fitoumi was very knowledgeable about the area and was flexible to shape activities around our personality. Lunch in town after seeing the temple was down to earth and an authentic Greek experience. He was even able to escort us to the parliament to catch changing of the guards!

We absolutely loved our tour with Alexandros! He welcomed us warmly at the beginning and remained so friendly throughout the entire tour! He has a vast knowledge and passion for all things Acropolis and Athens. We do not think we would have appreciated the history, museum, or Parthenon nearly as much had we done it on our own. My husband and I both agree that our tour with Alexandros was the highlight of our time in Athens so we would recommend him to anyone!

We enjoyed an amazing walk around Athens with Eleni! She toured us through the neighbourhoods and their place in Athens’ history - all at a pace that made it rich and not rushed. Eleni walked us by markets, bakeries, and shoppes which gave us a real appreciation for this City. This was truly the best part our our stay in Athens.

Yorgos was very knowledgeable of the areas and history of the areas we visited. He was patient explaining the culture and beauty. He did not rush through and showed interesting views. Heade sure he took us where our other tours had not.

John is the best guide we had during our stay in Athens. We did the Greek Mythology tour together. On the tour he covered the Greek pantheon and the complex relationships between the gods. John is passionate about history and loves to share that enthusiasm with others. We visited the Library of Athens, the university, the academy and Syntagma Square . We discussed the architecture, paintings and symbols on the buildings as well as their histories and functions. During our tour, John answered all our questions about mythology, Greek history, politics and language. He also offered helpful suggestions about additional places to visit during the rest of our trip. A truly excellent guide with excellent English language skills.

Arianna was our tour guide for the Acropolis, and she was excellent! Her knowledge of the history, architectural design, and harmonic proportions were very intriguing. She made the Acropolis and Parthenon come alive! She is perfect for anyone wanting an in-depth tour that explains how each building was essential to past generations.

Yorgos is a fantastic guide and guy!! We had such a great time exploring the city of Athens, trying a variety of local cuisines and getting a better sense of the broader Greek/Athenian culture - we learned a ton. Super off the beaten path tour with Dionysos. We saw some interesting neighborhoods we otherwise wouldn’t have seen on our own. Highly recommended

Georgia was the perfect guide for us and gave us the chance to sample quite a few different products of Greece. Not everything was to our taste but we wouldn't have even known to try them without this tour. Georgia showed us hidden drinking and dinning venues that we would not have found easily on our own and everything was within walking distance of our apartment in the Plaka.
