Our guide, Nick, was awesome, providing a unique, insider's view, bringing us to neighborhoods that are off the beaten path and offering a deeper understanding of the city. Highly recommend this food tour. Small group is the best way to experience the local food in Athens. Antigone was so knowledgeable about the food and much much more! The pace of the tour is perfect for anyone young or not-so-young and the authentic lunch at the very end was perfection!

We took the "Unexpected Athens Orientation Tour". Our guide, Joseph, was excellent, funny, and highly knowledgeable and passionate about his city, its modern history and culture. The tour, which we took on our second day of five in Athens, really helped us to navigate our way around the city centre and took us to areas away from the classic historical attractions.

Very interesting tour of Athens! Our tour guide was Georgina and she was extremely charismatic and knowledgeable about Greek history and mythology! This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Greece! We saw all the major sites in Athens during this tour in the one day we were there before departing on a cruise ship.

MaryKate was a great guide. The food was delicious with a nice variety and we felt like we covered a nice distance with highlights of Athens. She went above and beyond at the end of our tour with other suggestions of food in Athens and included some recipes.

The Athens street art tour is a great way to explore Athens’ most interesting neighbourhoods while learning about the city’s incredible street art. We had a great time with Nikos, a knowledgeable artist himself, learning about the city’s great artists while discovering a side of Athens we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. A highlight of our visit and one we would strongly recommend.

This tour was so much fun! A small group of both young and not-as-young people who were all very engaging. Our tour guide, Maria-Katerina, was charming, informative, and very gracious answering all our questions! English was perfect and easily understood. So much delicious food: gyros, authentic Greek coffee, traditional ‘donuts’, olive oil tasting with noshes, bread from a traditional bakery, and finishing off with a local tavern for tapas-style meal. Forgot to mention the ‘pretzel’ stop we made that is open all night and a great place to get a late night snack. We went to a variety of old and new neighborhoods that included beautiful shops, fish and meat markets, and down a street with wonderful smells of spices for sale. Maria-Katerina provided a wonderful narrative of how Greeks eat and shop and the how/why of the traditional foods. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you Maria!!
