A chauffeur retrieves you from your Athens hotel, sparing the hassle of finding your way to the Agios Kosmas Olympic Sailing Marina. From there, board a luxury catamaran and be greeted with a welcome drink. Relax in the bright sun and cooling Mediterranean breeze while the yacht sets sail. Watch the passing coastline of the Athens Riviera while relaxing with a non-alcoholic refreshment, cold beer, or glass of Greek wine. At the first stop, fresh towels are offered for those tempted by the blue water. At the next, snorkel gear is available. This is my second time taking the evening cruise. The first was in 2018 and this time was just as wonderful. The crew was so welcoming and friendly, the catamaran was beautiful, the meal was delicious, and the views were stunning!

The level of care from the crew cannot be understated. At the anchoring for swimming and dinner my phone slipped out of my hand and bounced off the deck overboard. Captain Mike asked what kind of phone it was and without missing a beat in serving the meal, donned fins and mask and retrieved my phone (it was still working!)

On the administrative end of things, Stella was able to work magic and adjust our pickup time on the fly to accommodate changing our location to match the end of a different tour that we were taking that morning.

I plan to come back to Athens, and absolutely plan on taking this cruise again!

Relax with Sailing Athens!

Sailing Athens was an amazing company. Easy to book tours. Catamaran was exceptionally clean with fresh towels and excellent staff. We took the sunset cruise to the Athens Riveria, where we enjoyed a wonderfully prepared and delicious greek dinner on board. The Staff was very attentive and friendly. The maximum number of guests were 10 and there was plenty of room to relax. They also had hotel pick up and drop off which was very helpful. Vicki, the reservationist made sure that my daughter's food allergies were noted for the trip and we had no issues whatsoever. The catamaran trip was a nice getaway from the city and I would highly recommend it!!

Wow! When I read other people's reviews saying that this was the highlight of their trip to Greece I rolled my eyes. I have to admit it was the highlight of my trip. It was such a relaxing day with plenty of time for swimming at both swim stops. The crew were amazing. Very friendly, knowledgable, and handsome ;) The food spread they put out was unbelievable. They put out plate after plate after plate of food and it was all delicious. Some of the best food I had while in Greece. This trip is so worth taking. I would advise taking it at the end of your stay in Greece so you can be rested and rejuvenated when you head home.

An unforgettable cruise in the Athens Riviera
The cruise with Sailing Athens is, undoubtedly, a ‘must do’ when in the Greek capital! You are given the sense that you enjoy your vacation on a Greek island but you get the amazing opportunity to witness the elegance of the Athens Riviera. The crew, Mike and Aris made us feel comfortable from the very first moment and during the cruise they were available for anything we may have needed, refilling our glasses constantly. The three stops that we made were in secluded spots and, in this way, we had the great chance to swim along blue and clear waters. The food cooked on the catamaran was delicious and it included flavors for all tastes; Greek salad, tzatziki, shrimps saganaki and a bbq with seafood but also meat were some of the dishes we had. My boyfriend and me chose the sunset cruise which was the best choice we could have made. On the way back to the marina, we enjoyed sitting in the front of the catamaran watching the sun set, enjoying at the same time our wine. That was a day that we will definitely repeat! In those times that we all have been through, the people of Sailing Athens, Mike, Aris, and Stella (the lady that we had the communication for the reservation with) are people who make your day with their kindness and will make you feel like home!

When in Athens… Sailing Athens!

Me and my girlfriend did a sunset cruise with Sailing Athens on the 15th of July. We had a warm welcome on the catamaran by the 2-man crew, Mike and Aris. As soon as we sat down we were offered a drink and the relaxing day began. The crew was very polite and helpful. Throughout the cruise drinks were constantly brought to you and nice music played through the speakers. The catamaran anchored three times in total, where the crew would tell something about the beautiful surroundings and after which we could jump in the water. At the second stop, the crew prepared food on the catamaran, which was amazing. At the end of the day we returned towards the sunset and to the marina.

I would definitely go on a cruise with Sailing Athens again when I’m in Athens and therefore would strongly recommend this experience to anyone.

Great food, hospitable crew, and plenty of short swim breaks to give you ample opportunity to swim in the Aegean and sun bathe on the deck. They prepared lunch for us during one of our swim stops, all of which was comparable to or better than many of the restaurants we ate at while on our vacation. Plenty of food options for vegetarians and vegans as well. Total trip time was about 5 hours and I would recommend going in the morning if you want to avoid the highest temps and have the calmest ride. Our two-year-old also had a great time, with fun swimming, no seasickness, and no issues from the crew or other guests with having her on board. Overall I would definitely do this again if I was in Athens in the future.

You will not need to bring any special shoes or flip flops; they will ask you to remove your shoes and keep them off the entire time you’re on the boat. Also no need to bring towels because they have them. If you aren’t a strong swimmer, they will ask you to advise them in the beginning, but it won’t be a problem. They have a few life preservers that you could use for floating and the crew will keep an eye on you while you’re in the water. With the water being as salty as it is, you will be very buoyant anyway!

Perfect!

Everything was so easy - from the booking and online payment all the way until we were dropped back safely at our hotel.

The catamaran was perfect, safe and clean. Easy to move around and get on and off for the swimming stops. The crew were super attentive and I couldn't be any more glowing of their service.

The meal far exceeded our expectations and the drink selection was great.

The swimming stops were perfect for those who partook, and the slow cruise back to port under sail to watch the sunset was a perfect finish.

Relaxing Catamaran Cruise

We did a semi private cruise since there was 7 of us there was only one other couple. The cruise was great and the kids loved sitting on the front on the cargo net. The food was so fresh it taste amazing which is crazy considering it was made on the boat. The two gentlemen captaining the ship had amazing customer service. When my husband lost his sunglasses over board at one of the stops one of them free dove to retrieve it for him even after we said it was not necessary. We enjoyed every minute of this cruise.

Well worth the money and experience
The staff were remarkable from door to door pick up and drop off to sailing. The two brothers we were with on the sail boat made our time memorable and were very easy to speak with. We never felt like things were rushed or anything like that. The food they cooked was absolutely wonderful and some of the best food we had in Athens. The bad reviews must of hated sailing, Greek food, or maybe just had a bad day because this tour was well worth the money. Unlimited drinks and alcohol throughout the trip and at times felt like if you chose to have a drink in your hand, someone was there to be happy to help. I would recommend the sunset tour as it was absolutely beautiful! I would do this again in a heartbeat without a doubt.

This was an idyllic holiday experience! The crew members were knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. They provided friendly but unobtrusive service with a personal touch. From drone photos and quality meals to the considerate route, they went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. Quality service from door to door. We could not have been more pleased with our day out in the Athenian Riviera with Sailing Athens. Highly recommended without any complaints or hesitations.
