    First time visiting The Acropolis.
Our guide Comisa was great. Patient, knowledgeable and witty. Perfect spring weather. My wife and I made the climb relatively easily. The earbud speakers worked well. Our tour was in English and our guide was very easy to understand.

Highly recommended to make the most of your visit! Our guide, John the Archeologist, was amazing. So glad we had such a knowledgeable and personable guide to help make the experience come alive.

Confusing on where to redeem your voucher for tickets.
Would not recommend using TripAdvisor for this excursion. Tickets were $10 at the gate which we ended up purchasing and had no line and TripAdvisor charged $50. We couldn’t find the redemption place to actually get the tickets. We went to the acropolis ticket counter to exchange our QR code for the actual tickets, but fair warning, you have to go to a different destination to actually get your tickets. Acropolis itself was actually amazing.

    Excellent experience and fabulous food
I thoroughly enjoyed this walking food tour. The tour guide was so friendly and shared lots of interesting information throughout the tour. The food was delicious and plentiful. You will get to experience authentic cuisine that might be hard to find on your own. Definitely need to pace yourself. A fantastic experience. OPA!

    Amazing experience for husbands 40th
Anastasia was so knowledgeable and made the whole morning a fantastic experience! We did both the Acropolis and the museum tour and would fully recommend both. Tour was 4 hours long and honestly feel like I learnt so much! But also Anastasia brought it to life so it was really enjoyable! If we had have gone by ourselves we would have missed so much stuff. Would also highly recommend this time of year as not too busy!

Enjoyable experiences with lots of history and knowledge
The tour is very enjoyable and the tour guide Artemis is very clear and knowledgeable. The meet up point is easy to find and the tour allows you enough time to ask questions or rest in between the walks.

Sofia was an excellent guide with lots of knowledge of the local area and history. We visited the Acropolis and the museum with her, both of which were A+ experiences.

    Excellent food tour!
Adele was a great guide -she was enthusiastic and funny! She also had some great tips and advice for travelling in Athens! The food was delicious and Adele ensured all allergies and food preferences were catered for (including my friend who doesn’t eat cheese -which is difficult in Greece). I would highly recommend.

One of the best tours ever!
I've taken many tours, and this one ranks among the best. Anastasia was fabulous. We learned a lot as she presented the history as if it were a story! We had a range of ages in our group from 15 to 75, and all were entertained and educated.

    Greek cuisine, culture and connection!
What an experience! An amazing evening full of learning, laughter, and all things Greek! It was evident that Chef Spyros is passionate about Greek cuisine, Greek culture, and connection! He made our love for Greek cuisine and our love for the people and culture that much stronger! I highly recommend this as your go-to Athens experience! And don’t forget to add the local wine pairings to your cuisine!

    Great tour
Great tour of the Acropolis monuments and museum. Our Guide was Elena. The tour gave the site a lot more meaning and our guide provided interesting facts. Especially good to have her guide us in the museum. Although we visited the site and then the museum I thought this was a good way as we were able to put it into perspective. Plus we visited the Acropolis at 9am, by the time we were leaving it was very busy. As it was March I dread to think how bad the crowds get, not to mention the heat. Tip! There are toilets at the top of the Acropolis, plus a water fountain.

    Wonderful and organized tour.
The meeting location was easy to find. Our Tour guide, Lisa, was incredible. Very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Lisa was an excellent source of information and took her time explaining all that we were seeing. She is an Athens native and knew so much. She spoke clearly and was easy to understand. Lisa asked lots of questions to see how much her group knew. She even took pictures for anyone who wanted one at the end of the tour for us. She took a great family picture in front of the Parthenon for us. The tour was 2 hours. We walked from the meeting point to the top of the Acropolis where the tour ended. There are bathrooms at the top and the bottom. Not many places to sit. Not much shade. There is an elevator that can be taken up, however it looks like you must make arrangements to access the elevator. Water is available at the top for .50eur. Great tour. A lot of slow walking, but definitely informative. I don’t feel we beat anyone though, even buying tickets in advance. We stood in line to get in with your group. We each had voice transmitters with an ear plug so we could hear our guide easily. 100 percent recommend this tour.

Our walking tour of the Acropolis monuments, including the Parthenon, Plaka, and Monastiraki, was truly memorable. Our guide, Anna Kotorou, was fantastic! Her passion for history and archaeology shone through in every story she shared. Her insights brought the ancient sites to life, making the experience deeply engaging and enlightening. A highly recommended tour for anyone eager to learn about Athens' rich history.

We did the Hidden Athens tour with Stelios yesterday, and it was one of the best tours we've done in Athens! This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. However, Athens Walk still honored our reservation even though it was just me and my husband. Stelios took us to all the scenic hills and showed us the best spots to avoid the crowd and take beautiful photos of the Acropolis/Parthenon. The best part is, Stelios also told us detailed history, Greek mythology, or stories associated with virtually every site. Stelios was extremely knowledgeable, and he presented everything with passion! We had learned so much from the tour and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Stelios. We really appreciate how prepared and professional Stelios was, yet he was also fun to be around. It takes a lot of effort and time to lead tours like this, and we certainly were glad that we had the opportunity to do the Hidden Athens tour and meet Stelios. Highly, highly recommended!

This tour was absolutely fantastic!! Seeing the Parthenon and learning about the other monuments was absolutely fascinating. One of the best parts of the tour was working with Kostas. He was so knowledgeable, passionate, and enthusiastic. It is very clear how much he loves Athens and all of its rich history which made his ability to share his wealth of information that much more interesting and exciting. He was also very personable and friendly. He has a great sense of humor and was happy to snap a photo. We did the acropolis tour with a big group but were lucky enough to end the day with the hidden gems walking tour with just my husband, Kostas, and I. This was an amazing opportunity to see more of old Athens and Plaka and get to truly see some hidden gems we never would’ve found without this tour. Cannot recommend Kostas enough. He truly made the experience for us! Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens.

The tour company changed our tour to another tour because they could not meet the original commitment. We agreed. During our tour our guide left us at the Parthenon to take the tour to the museum. We were only 5 minutes late to our meeting spot. Worse, she only gave us 20 minutes to take photos, get water and go to the restroom...which had a very long line. She seemed very taken back by the crowds and I found that unprofessional from the get go. Not a good experience.

My wife and I took this tour with Miss Daphne on our first night in Athens. Not only did she give an excellent tour, but because it was a small group she provided insights on being a native Athenian.

We've been to Athens several times and on various tours. This tops them all. Marisa (Marie-Georgia) was the best guide! She was extremely knowledgeable and was so friendly. Our 11 year old loved all the stops and the stories Marisa told us. We were able to see places we didn't know we're in Athens. You definitely do not want to miss this adventure!

Dimitris was informative, humorous, and kept the tour well-paced to include many points of interest and sites that we would have definitely overlooked if we had tried to do this on our own. How lucky we were to be guided by a professor of history who could bring this beautiful city to life with wonderful stories of Athens’ beginnings from a small city to the grand capital we see today. In particular because I used an old-fashioned paper map and became lost before our arrival making us late, he tried to cheer me up after I apologized for my error. (I am one of those people who is always early so as not to be rude to the guide or my fellow travelers.) Dimitris was also most considerate to my 80+ year old parents who were on the tour as well, checking to see that they were keeping up. Kostas joined us at the end to bring traditional Greek snacks and wine for a lovely picnic. It felt like a special occasion with two new friends. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

If you want a fantastic tour ask for Efi, she's an archeologist! Wow we were lucky to get her, what a tour, gorgeous historical buildings, the guards, we even got a wave off to the prime minister, 10 feet away, the park, mini zoo, prison, the arch, churches and so much more! A nice comfortable walk, a tiny bit hilly. Efi was so informative, and in an interesting way, she most definitely knew her history. She was friendly and so nice, she made it seem as if you were on an adventure with a friend who is an archeologist and had the inside scoop! The picnic was a nice little break, sitting in the shade, some delicious pies, cheese, chicken and custard sweet and wine too! Our group was 7, we sat around eating and chatting with Efi about the sights. Lovely day!
