Great stay for family of four near all of the action. Super clean. Awesome breakfast.
Great stay for our family of four. Very comfortable apartment (#3) and everything was very clean. Perfect location near food, drink, and night life. Also close to Monastery Square and the north entrance of the Acropolis. Dimitris is the man! He provided lots of good advice and took care of our every need, including airport and ferry port transfers. I wish we’d had stayed a 3rd night. We will be back.

    Great tour of wonderful monument.
The tour was excellent. Rina knew her stuff and shared all of it with us. I found it particularly interesting when she talked of the Greek history and of the origins and meanings of many words in English from the Ancient Greek. Rina was very good at finding the shade and making sure we got water refills from the fountains. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Great tour for family with teens, even if you usually don’t take tours highly recommend.
We are a family of 4, two adults and two 18 year olds. We had planned to visit the acropolis on our own but was late in booking early morning tickets during a hot and windy day in June so we decided to chose a guided tour that allowed us to visit at 10:45am inclusive of tickets. It was well worth the money. We typically like to do things on our own pace but the guide was very knowledgeable, thoughtful of our group, ensuring we stayed in the shade as much as possible, and knew all of the history that gave context to the monuments and temple. There was one family that had small kids, 7-10 year olds, who were struggling at times with the terrain and wind. One was carried by dad multiple times and at the end, seemed to melt down. (I don’t blame him, it’s a lot for a little one). I think if we had little ones, maybe self guided. Pace was great, tour was great, and enjoyed it! Highly recommend!

    The best!
Anna is the guide that you'll never forget. Practically danced every step of the way. She handled questions easily with lots of wit! If there was a 6 on the scale she'd of got it. #bringthemback

    Beware
This tour was advertised as though there wouldn't be many at the Acropolis because you would be going early in the morning. Actually, there were many groups and individuals entering at the same time and it didn't take long for the place to fill up.

Amazing tour of Parthenon and Acropolis!
The walking tour was incredible! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of history and detail. She was affiliated with the university and did a great job! Loved the audio situation where each person was given a device and ear buds to listen to the guide. Very helpful as the group couldn’t always stay very close. Wish all tours provided this type of audio guide.

    Great Class with Amazing Meal
I would not hesitate to book this culinary adventure. The class was fun and informative about Greek foods. The cooking instructor was very personable. The food was served outside with an amazing view of the Acropolis. I should mention that you need to plan for an entire evening.

GO EARLY with this tour! Especially since it is getting hotter now in Athens!
great tour mainly because we were the first ones in the gate and up the path to the Acropolis/Parthenon. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice. She took her time and gave the group (not too big luckily) time to absorb everything. My husband and I ended up going in on a day where it was free admission to museums in Greece and we were told we'd get a refund of the ticket part of our portion but that has not happened. Perhaps it still will?

Good tour to try out some local cuisine
Orestis was a great guide knowledgable not only about all the food but the area, sharing some historical tidbits. We had some of the best souvlaki on our trip here and got to eat plenty of food. It turned out just to be 2 of us so on the tour so it was a cozy group.

The food tour was absolutely amazing and our tour guide Georgia was fantastic! Her energy and enthusiasm was magnetic. She seemed to genuinely love giving the Athens food tour which made being on the tour all the more enjoyable. Crisscrossing our away through the streets of Athens with a local showing us where real, young Athenians like to go to, eat, drink, and shop was so much fun. Walking through the meat and fish market with Georgia, who appeared to be a local celebrity, was very fun and informative. The diamond in the rough food shop within the meat and fish market was the highlight of the food tour with the Souvlaki at the end coming in as a very close second. We enjoyed a full morning of food and drinks and would definitely do it again. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an authentic Athenian gastronomic experience.

We had a super interesting street art & food tour with Georgia. In a good mood and fully engaged, she gave us great insights into the artists' quarter - accompanied by Greek delicacies.
An absolute recommendation off the beaten tourist path.

We had a fantastic two tours with Athens Walking Tours. Food tour with the friendly Georgia was particularly good around the markets and Psiri. It was just us and she worked hard to make it unique with a few extra stops. She seemed to know everyone and called ahead to make sure vendors were ready for us.

The second tour in the afternoon was a guided tour of the acropolis and was very informative giving us some interesting background information at all the ruins and temples. Would strongly recommend to all.

Had a WONDERFUL Athens Street Culture & Food, off-the-beaten path with Sophia! She was very knowledgeable about the food, graffiti, the area. She had great relationships with all the people we met and places we went. Warning...inclusions say "Snacks" ... snacks maybe to Greeks but I will tell you bring your appetite!!! Soooooo much delicious food. We did a lot of excursions while in Greece, this being our first and it is something I will remember for a long time. Sophia also said she does cooking demo's as well, we weren't going to be in Athens long enough, but based on her Street Culture & Food tour I would definitely recommend doing that with her as well!

I joined the Athens Small-Group Food Tour this morning, and it was absolutely fantastic. We were a group of a 7, and our guide Georgia was brilliant. She was so good at individually looking after us, for example at our final stop she sat with each of us to give us recommendations for our time in Athens. She’s a real asset to this tour company!

The places we visited were so unique, with my favourite definitely being the lamb patty shop we visited in the fish market. It was so unexpected given the location, and absolutely delicious.

I’d highly recommend taking this food tour in Athens. It was my first food tour, and it’s just such a good way to see a city as food is such a huge part of a place’s culture. Thanks for a brilliant morning Georgia!

Is tour was wonderful! Not only was our tour guide, Georgia, outstanding in her knowledge of the city and its food, she was fun and very patient with the 7 of us. You could tell she loved her city. We not only experienced a wide variety of food and beverages, but were able to talk with the vendors and shop keepers to learn about their trade. This is one of the best ways to really see a city and learn its culture.

We’d never done a food tour before and after this, we want to do one in every city we visit, though don’t think anyone will ever live up to our tour guide, Georgia. She was so bubbly, knowledgeable and truly knew all of the locals we passed by. It felt like we were hanging out with the mayor of Athens! We got to try so many amazing foods and liquors and she also gave us lots of great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Thanks for a wonderful tour, Georgia!!!

We decided to book the private day tour and are SO glad we did!!!

Some background on me. I am a vegetarian and my fiancé eats meat. Our guide was amazing finding us both options and showing us some great restaurants and off the beaten path ones to truly give us a taste of the city!

Beware: COME HUNGRY! You will eat a lot so be prepared!!! Highly recommend for anyone trying to get a feel of the city and experience in a difference way.

Rena was an excellent tour guide! She had great energy and shared interesting information about the food and culture of Greece. I've been on two other food tours in other countries and they're my new favorite go-to way to see the city, meet a local to ask questions and get tips, and to learn about the culture through it's food and drink. Highly recommend!

Four of us spent a wonderful morning on this tour with the delightful Sophia. We learnt so much about Greek food and customs and visited locations we would never have found on our own. We visited a wide variety of shops and areas, a bakery, the meat and fish market, the fruit markets, a herb and spice store, a liqueur store, a couple of restaurants and a small cafe where we saw sweet and savoury pies being hand made before we sampled them. Whilst the portions are not huge there are plenty of stops with loads of different foods to taste and I'm sure anyone will find the variety of foods on offer more than sufficient. No one will be disappointed!

Sophia is extremely knowledgeable and so friendly, she obviously loves her city, and really made the tour special. There were about 14 of us on the tour of varying nationalities. She made everyone feel very welcome and remembered the names of all us within a couple of minutes, We didnt feel rushed at any point, and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning. One of the highlights of our stay in Athens. Cannot recommend highly enough.

One more thing, you will NOT need to eat breakfast, there are lots of stops and lots of foods to try. We were totally stuffed by the time we finished!

Go try it and enjoy :)
