We have conducted several researches and contacted several tour guides; we wanted to make this experience our own as we had an idea of places we wanted to visit. Having read from Filipe, there was no doubt in our minds. Filipe tailored the whole tour to our needs and interests and made sure we were surprised still, as he realised exactly what it was we were looking for and drove us to such unexpected places. Filipe was a safe driver (which is super important), punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. It seemed he was telling a story but managed to make it fun and engaging. We were so motivated, we could not refrain from asking questions, to which Filipe always had an answer to. As for food and drinks, we were driven to traditional restaurants and rooftops, but not those were you normally see many tourists in; hidden spots and gems which serve the best food only, and with such amazing views. In a nutshell, we do not regret having selected Filipe at all and in the future no further researches will be needed. We will turn directly to Filipe as he managed to make this such as amazing tour by truly understanding our expectations.

We had a fantastic 10 day trip in Portugal and had the time of our lives with Filipe Martins. Our private tour with Filipe was a perfect blend of culture, history, nature, food lots of food and pure fun. . His attentiveness to our needs was great and he even went out of his way to pick us up an extra day and show us around his hometown in Porto. On the last night in Alfama, Lisbon we had a fantastic experience with Filipe in an alleyway around the block from our hotel, with "Fado Vadio" a large mural dedicated to Fado on the walls of this alleyway, and performers singing. Also, I LOVED the vibe and energy of this alleyway! What an amazing way to end our trip! One of the absolute highlites of our trip to Portugal! Our day started with surprise pastel de nada- what a treat ❤️ Filipe was charismatic and very knowledgeable about the wonderful places we visited on our way from Lisbon to Porto. It was a pleasure to plan this day long tour with Filipe as he gave wonderful suggestions as to where to visit along the way, but he was also open to our ideas and interests. The places we visited we full of history and Portuguese authenticity, and we certainly will have memories for a lifetime! We had a chance to visit Obidos, Nazare, Tentugal, Coimbra, Aveiro and a quick stop in Gaia de Nova. But really you can create a trip to suit your own interests. Great tour guide for our family and a new friend.

Filipe was our tour guide in Palácio Fronteira and he was by far the worst guide you could ever imagine. He was far from fun and cheerful The worst thing he did was that he did not allow me to simultaneously translate for my mom, who does not speak any of the language the tour was offered in. We were quite and polite, but him on the other hand impolite, discriminatory and rude. Stay away from Felipe.

We booked this tour for our transfer from Porto to Lisbon. Our entire journey was amazing although we started our trip an hour late as we were waiting to get our missing luggage from the airline. Our tour guide was Filipe, he gave us a ride to the airport to collect the luggage and we were one our way to Lisbon after that. He let us choose any of the cities to visit and the time we spend there, we picked stops at Aveiro , Coimbra and Fatima. He accompanied us to most of the locations , describing each place we visited. Filipe was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and eager to share the history and heritage of his country. He recommended lunch at a country side family owned restaurant which was amazing and away from typical touristy restaurants and was able to visit the restaurant’s backyard garden with owners. Would definitely recommend Filipe as he was very engaged with our group, we had multiple guides during our trip and he was the best.

The tour guide was giving lots of details, very quickly, and he would switch from Portuguese to English so fast that I would lose him, and after a while I started to tune him out. We were also under the impression this was a "small" tour, meaning 12-15. There were far more people on this tour. We wasted a lot of time at lunch because the restaurant couldn't handle the volume and we waited. I agree with the person who stated the restaurant was dismal in the basement. There were some folks who went for lunch on their own and did some shopping while waiting for us to finish. The old castle was interesting, but the rest of the town wasn't.
