Pedro was an excellent and pleasant guide. The 2 wineries were beautiful. Lunch at the 2nd winery was like a movie set and it was delicious. Beautiful property. Boat ride was ok. Half hour out and turn around. Amaranth was really lovely.

The tour was amazing! We did many stops and tastings, beautiful places. Our tour guide was Antonio and he was the best tour guide we have ever had! He was very nice and explained everything. This tour definitely exceeded our expectations! We will be back for sure and recommend this tour to our friends!

Went on a tour with Tiago, who was amazing. He got us to the tasting sites before the crowds, and was very knowledgeable about the region, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the group had a good experience

I had read many mixed reviews about day trips to the Duoro Valley but our day spent with Thiago was delightful. He was an excellent driver ( essential on the winding mountain roads!), a charming host and extremely knowledgeable about Portuguese history and winemaking. This was a great way to experience the beautiful Duoro region, taste local wines and have a great lunch. I would highly recommend.

We were batched with wonderful couples and had a grand time. Douro Valley has beautiful scenes and good wine and port to enjoy it with. Our guide, Tiago, made the experience even better by giving bits of information about the region, culture, lifestyle of the area, and most importantly, he drove us safely to and from wine tasting.

We had a terrific day with guide extraordinaire, Tiago, touring around Douro Valley with some new friends from Australia. It’s some time in the van but Tiago provided interesting info about the region and remarkably good driving skills. Would recommend highly to anyone interested in an excursion into the beautiful, grape-growing countryside outside of Porto.

A great experience. Went with a couple of friends and met some great people along the way. Our guide Alex was great and provided us with a lot of good information. We got to try so much wine and food (and olive oil!) and it was all very delicious. The scenery was also breathtaking. We didn’t want it to end! Definitely more than worth the price, would highly recommend it.

Tiago was an incredibly friendly, helpful, informative driver and host. He was early to the pick up point. He was so knowledgeable about the area and about wine. He made sure we were all comfortable. This was one of the best tours we’ve been on and I would highly recommend going with Tiago if you can. He even dropped everyone off where we they were staying. He also, kindly arranged for transportation to the train station for us.

Paulo did an outstanding job showing us the local lifestyle! As wine grape growers we appreciated his enthusiasm, knowledge and insight to this beautiful area of Portugal.

This is a must day trip if you’re staying near Porto. The views were stunning and the people were lovely. Pedro made the day a memorable one!

My husband and I went on the Douro Valley wine tour with Pedro and 6 other people. Pedro was a great guide! He was very informative, pleasant and energetic. Answered any questions we had and took pictures of us over looking the beautiful Douro Valley. We tried many different wines and port wines. Had a delicious lunch and another snack along with the 3 wine tastings. We had a fun time! Loved the boat ride on the river. So beautiful! Definitely a must do when in Porto. Thank you Pedro!

This was everything I was hoping for. Early start (8:15) but absolutely worth it. 3 different stops to eat and drink plus the boat trip (we opted not to drink there but we could have). Breakfast was ham and cheese and both white and red green wine. Then off to a winery with incredible views where we learned how olive oil and wine and made and then sampled them both. Then back down to the river where the views were incredible. On to lunch where the food and drink (red and white wine plus port) were all very good. There were 8 of us with Francisco and he answered our questions as he drove us all over the countryside. It’s a long day as we weren’t back to our hotel until around 6. I would do it again.
