We had a great day and souvenir! Andres, the guide, was very funny and we learnt many things. We enjoyed a local experience and the envies of coming back one day to this special place!

The tour "began" 45 minutes late and my expectations were not high. Fortunately, our tour guide from Efun made up for the lateness of the start with an informative and pleasant tour. It helped that the weather was beautiful in the Douro Valley. The scenery was spectacular even though the vines had not started to bud out. The quintas that we visited were all excellent. Of course the Port that we tried was excellent and the vintners (quinta tour guides) were knowledgeable and entertaining. In the end in was worth the wait, but if we had started on time my rating would have been a five.

Very glad you enjoyed your tour!
Sorry to inform that the delay only happened because we were waiting at your hotel around 20 min and you never showed up. We emailed you setting the pick up at Pousada do Freixo at 8:45 am since it's distant from the historical center and we spend normally 20 min in traffic when picking clients in that hotel.
Discovering later when you called that you went into the city center. All pick up's were delay that day because of yours that was the first.
We beleive it was miscommunication and probably you didn't had access to your email.
Nevertheless we're happy your tour was great.

We made a trip to the Douro valley in a mini van with 8 guests. It was a lovely day. Our guide Jean told us a lot about the region and the wines. We visited three wineries of which the visit to the small independent winery impressed us most. We would surely recommend this trip!

Our guides were Francisco and driver Tiago. Both gave a well presented history tour to the vineyards of the Douro valley.

We did the english tour with Steve which showed us a great time. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts, as well as being entertaining and very funny.
All three vineyards had their charms in different ways and all were worth the visit. The ports we tried were amazing and we also got to taste several table wines.
Lunch was a delicious several course meal with a fantastic view.
Great experience overall and highly recommend the tour as well as Steve as a tour guide.

Thx for the great tour Steve! We had a marvellous day. Learned everything about port and maybe more important, we had great fun and laughter with the other people joining the tour. That was possible because we were with 6 people, perfect!

Jean was a great guide. He provided helpful commentary along the route. He picked us up at the hotel in the morning and returned us there later in the afternoon. We had wine tasting at Quinta de Percha and lunch and a boat tour at Pinhao. We didn't want a long boat ride so this was a perfect compromise. We drove and enjoyed spectacular scenery and then had a one hour trip on the boat.
We would recommend this one day tour.
