Thé tour was supposed to last 3 hours but we had a fantastic guide , Carolina , who was so passionate and enthusiastic about her city that the tour lasted almost 4 hours .
She had a wonderful knowledge of the history of the city . She was always involved , attending to her flock and we always felt connected
This had many bike tours and this one was the best .

Excellent 3.5 hour bike tour along the coast to Foz. Our guide Yolanda was very knowledgeable and we stopped many times to take photos and learn more about the area. The tour took us through two local parks and then we took the ferry crossing to Sao Pedro da Afurada, then through Gaia and across the Dom Luis I bridge. Would highly recommend this tour

I am so glad I booked this tour. Elio was our guide and he was so informative and humorous! I would never found all the great bike paths in Porto. One of the highlights of my Porto trip! I rented an E-Bike but this trip mainly stayed along the river path and gentle hills so would have been no problem with a regular bicycle. Thanks to Elio and also to our British friends we met on the tour!

My husband and I took a 3 hour (10am) morning bike tour with Emmanuel. We had already spent 2 days exploring Porto ourselves so i thought the tour might cover ground we had seen but it actually took us out of the city, along the coast and then on the boat over to Gaia. This also meant we avoided the streep hills of Porto!
Emmanuel was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and it was a pleasure to spend the time with him. He taught us so much about the history of Porto and Portugal. It was kind that he offered to take photos of us at various points on the tour.
We arranged the tour via email by Sara who met us at the shop and was very friendly and helpful.
Very comfortable and new bikes.
After the tour, Emmanuel and Sara sent us on our way with a great recommendation for lunch!
Would definitely recommend if you're in Porto and want to learn about the city and country and visit lots of places off the usual beaten track.

We had pre booked for 2.30 on Saturday 12Jan. It was no problem to change to 10am. Not so busy in January so we had undivided attention of tour guide Helio (de Sousa). He had incredible local historical knowledge, stopped many times to show us sights, tell us the story, take photo opportunity etc. patient (sometimes I was slow on bike).
We covered an amazing amount of ground — out almost as far as Foz de Douro, through the Parque de Cidade where we stopped for coffee a cafe in amazing converted barn, back to the river which we crossed by ferry and finished by cycling back to Porto on the south side of the river. Helio gave good recommendations for food...for port...for shopping. Brilliant day ..most enjoyable...highly recommend.

Antonio was the perfect guide - informative, friendly and judged the abilities and interests of the four of us perfectly.
Thankfully the tour is almost all flat and the few uphill bits were gentle - unlike some lanes in the old town.
Good bikes, a good price and we covered a wider area which we wouldn’t have done without the tour. Would recommend it to you.

Nice, relaxed bike tour that was also informative and allowed us to discover the areas of Porto outside of the obvious tourist spots. Our guide Antonio speaks good English and is quite knowledgeable about his city.
On the downside, you don’t get to see the historical downtown, so don’t expect to discover it through this tour.

Spent a cool, clear morning biking Porto and Gaia. Only a few hills and lots of beautiful sights. Moreno was our lovely guide who met us promptly, frequently checked to see we were doing okay and shared historical information about his city. He was kind, friendly and interactive. Sergio was a guide in training and I’m sure he’ll do a great job when he’s on his own. Very enjoyable morning!

We hadn’t done a bike tour of a city before so we were a little apprehensive about safety especially as Porto is a bit crazy to drive around. We had nothing to be worried about as our entertaining and informative guide Emmanuel took a safety first approach with was ideal for us.
He managed to find the flattest parts of the city along the river and stopped regularly to point out interesting landmarks and share some of the incredible history of Porto and Portugal.
The trip included a quick boat trip to Gaya and a non scheduled visit to the fishing village. Took a lot of photos.
Perfect thing to do if you are new to the city. The bikes were in good condition and even though I think it was quite pricey for the private tour option it was worth every penny.

Hi. I'm arriving in Porto on Dec 30th too late for your 10 o'clock tour. On your calendar I can't see any availability on December 31st - is there a calendar mistake or are there no tours that day?
Thanks.

hello , je voudrais savoir si pour cette visite les vélos ont une assistance électrique car je sais que la ville de Porto est bien raide ? est ce indispensable ?
merci pour votre réponse
Hi, how safe and flat is the ride? My partner does not have much bike experience (knows how but does not have much confidence) and is worried about riding on hills and on roads with cars. Is it mostly flat? Is it mostly on bike paths/lanes?

I went with 3 inexperienced cyclists and they found it easy. Our guide made sure we took a flat path by the river and stayed off the roads as much as possible. There is one bit on the road after you cross the river and you have to ride across the bridge but the traffic is quite light. The hardest bit is cycling through the crowds on the Porto side so liberal use of the bell is advised!

I booked a tour for 4 persons tomorrow (Martine Willems). Is 10 o clock the only departure time? Because before we have to drive 1,5 h by car. And is there a parking nearby?

Sorry Denyce, you need to contact the company directly, not Trip Advisor. I booked on line for four of us, try again, or go via their website.
