Escape urban Porto and discover the natural landscape in Peneda-Gerês National Park, on a trek that takes you along countryside paths, through thick glens, and into a waterfall basin. Enjoy an included picnic lunch beside Cascata Tahiti after swimming beneath it, and take memorable pictures in the fairy-tale Matas de Albergaria. Relax after a full day’s exploring with round-trip transport provided from Porto.
What to Expect

Start your morning with pickup from your centrally located Porto hotel, having remembered to pack your swimsuit, then travel north to the Peneda-Gerês National Park.

On arrival, set off on your trek as your guide leads you along natural walkways rich in varied plant life, deep into the park’s forest. Explore the Matas de Albergaria, taking the opportunity to capture striking pictures in the wooded glade.

Follow the Arado River until you discover Cascata Tahiti, the picturesque waterfall set among the greenery. Enjoy refreshing dip in its basin, then unwind in the idyllic as you savor a picnic lunch.

When replenished, head back to your transport vehicle and relax as you’re dropped back to your hotel.

100% Worth it!

I had booked a last minute excursion while I was in Porto. The communication with the company was easy and they are always willing to host their tours no matter the size. My group was a lovely size of 4 and our guide Tiago was...More

It is not at all rigorous - more driving than walking. At one place we had a choice of driving or walking to a waterfall. The group is small and the guide is very flexible. I don’t think your husband would have a problem

All I can say is that I needed to be back for a flight and they fully accommodated this and even dropped me straight at the airport.
