Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the sights of Porto, and listening to the guides giving me the history of the buildings etc, although it was very foggy morning, meaning that I couldn’t see the bridges and other side of the river….but you can’t help the weather ! The time flew by with plenty of walking, and a short stop for refreshments. Highly recommended.Written January 12, 2025

Due to the low tourist season (it’s January) I ended up being alone, which led to me have a super enriching experience. Fabio is incredibly knowledgeable and charismatic. His expertise on food and wine as well as Portugal’s rich history was nothing short of impressive. He took me to wonderful local restaurants, cafes, and shops that I would have not thought to try on my own. He also provided me with a long list of suggestions of places to visit while I’m in Porto. I am very grateful to have had such an authentic experience. I highly recommend this tour.Written January 10, 2025

We had the one of the best Segway tours with Valter of Blue Dragon! Valter greeted us warmly and ensured we were comfortable using the machines. Helmets strapped on and off we went. Valter's english (like most Portuguese) was excellent and his commentary on the sites whilst wizzing the city pavement was so educational! We covered sociology of the Porto people, its rich history as a city, the country of Portugal and also its war history. We covered Porto food & drink favourites, religion, housing and architecture. It was so informative, we both felt we learned so much in those three hours. Valter timed our break perfectly and found us a little spot in the sunshine to have a coffee and pastry. Perfect! The balance of stopping and giving our seglegs a rest was well timed. I highly recommend touring Porto by segway and you've really gotten lucky if you get Valter! We will be booking again next time in Porto.

Riding a segway can be truly fun, especially in a city full of hills such as Porto. My guide Valter was very nice to talk to and super knowledgeable about the city. We saw some fantastic views and I managed to obtain a lot of information. I recommend it to anyone under 40 with good reflexes, since segways can be a bit tricky sometimes, but well worth the effort.

We did the segway tour with Walter.
For us it was the first time on a segway, but they give you quite some help to make sure you feel capable. Then they take the time to show you all around the city with some very nice stories, not only about history but also about modern porto.
Doing all of this whilst playing around in a segway was a lot of fun. Walter is a really nice guy as well.

Lia Torres took us on a wonderful tour of Porto - we highly recommend this tour because of her knowledge about the city, its history and the culture and the segue is such a lot of fun and very helpful in hilly Porto! Lia is also very engaged and, as well as the main historical details, she shared some quirky stories about life in Porto. Thank you Lia!

The segways were a lot of fun once we were used to them and Manuel was a great guide. There were a few hiccups though. I was contacted as we flew into Porto to say that our booking had to be rescheduled due to 'mechanical issues'. Slightly spoiled our plans but never mind. On the tour we did experience problems with mechanical issues and one Segway ran out of battery. Manuel was hugely apologetic. We had to move from the first cafe that we were sat at at break time because he didn't have any money and we had to wait for a colleague to bring money and another Segway. Not a cheap experience so they do need to work on avoiding issues of this kind and we did miss a couple of stops that the tour would usually cover. Toilet facilities were not available at the start due to 'water problems'.
Overall would recommend. Porto is hilly and Segway is a great way to travel up and down and orientate yourself. Thanks to Manuel for his enthusiasm and care.

We had a great afternoon seeing Porto on the Segways. Luana was a great guide, always taking care to make sure we were safe and even emailing us some recommendations after our tour ended. We definitely recommend this excursion to others and might even do it again, should we find ourselves in Porto in the future.

I've wanted to ride a Segway for a long time. After I came across the offer by chance (algorithms are sometimes good), I had to book it. The information about the tour said “not suitable for people with back problems” and I had a bulging disc 8 months ago, but I couldn't resist. Everything went really well, the weather was fine and it was a great experience. We were a small group of 4 participants plus guide. Our tour guide Lia gave us beginners a briefing, then we practiced briefly on a course and off we went. My wife was a little skeptical about how to get up steep streets, e.g. to the cathedral and back down through the narrow downtown streets. But you quickly get a feel for the vehicle. We stopped briefly at a few places so that Lia could explain the history and the city (in very good English, by the way) and just before the end there was a “pitstop” with coffee and natas. The 3 hours flew by and the price-performance ratio was very reasonable.

Hi mfuoss! 😊
Thank you so much for your detailed and enthusiastic review! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our Segway tour of Porto so much and that you finally fulfilled your wish to ride a Segway.
It's fantastic that you had such a positive experience, especially considering your initial concern about back problems. The safety and comfort of our visitors are always our priority.
We're delighted to know that Lia was an excellent guide. Her ability to provide a good introduction for beginners, explain the history and city in fluent English, and adapt to the group's needs are qualities we greatly value.
It's great that you appreciated the balance between exploring the city, stops for explanations, and the "pitstop" for coffee and natas. We always aim to provide a complete and authentic Porto experience.
Lia will certainly be very happy to know that she contributed to making your visit to Porto so special and memorable.
We appreciate your feedback on the value for money and hope to welcome you back soon for more adventures in our beautiful city!
Best regards,

Dinis Barbosa is, together with his trainee colleague, a very friendly and knowledgeable city guide, that showed us a number of highlights of Porto and told us about them. It gave us a good idea of what is interesting in Porto and and also of what we can do ourselves to get to know Porto even better. It was a reslly interesting tour that we enjoyed very much thanks to Dinis and his colleague.

We have been fortunate to visit many towns and we have found that if you take a tour, preferably a Segway tour when you arrive in a new city you will find the best bits for your holiday. our guide João was fabulous, he was very passionate about his town and county and it made the whole tour so enjoyable. His knowledge was second to none and his passion was awsome. Thank you João and be confident when choosing this company.

Lourenço took us around the entire city. He was very sensitive to what we wanted to know and what we already knew. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. We will do this again when we come back. I suggest others do it as well and ask for our great guide. Oh and he gave us tips and we use them for dinner and it was marvleous.

Olá! Iremos para Porto no início de Março. Somos em 6 pessoas (4 adultos + 2 crianças). Duas perguntas:
1) podemos fechar um grupo?
2) minha filha tem 13 anos e meu filho tem 10 anos. Ambos já andaram diversas vezes de segway e conseguem andar super bem. Eles podem fazer o passeio?
