This was 5 minutes drive (taxi) from the centre of lamego. We did the premium tour which was outstanding. Being a small winery, the experience was intimate and our guide, Christina, made us feel welcome and very special. It was such a relaxing afternoon tasting 5 magnificent wines and 4 ports with delicious local snacks and fruit grown on the premises. We had plenty of time between tastings with interesting information about the wine, the region and local information. The quinta was beautiful and had fantastic news. We bought wine and port for very reasonable prices and Christina was kind enough to order us a taxi home. The museum tour on the premises was insightful and a great way to start and appreciate the work that has gone on for centuries in the area. Thank you Christina for creating special memories for us and an unforgettable afternoon that we will treasure.

The tour included a visit to the small museum and a tasting. The host spoke perfect English and was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The museum is in a building from the 1800’s (if I am remembering correctly) and the winemaking equipment from that period as well. Very interesting to see and hear how wine was made back then. The tasting is on a covered patio, so very comfortable in the heat of the day, with a wonderful view from the winery to the town below. We tasted one champagne, one white wine, one red wine, a white and a red port, and finally a special red port made from an 80-year old vineyard with low production. Each glass was accompanied by a delicious treat (bread & oil, cheese & jam, peaches, etc.).
Everything was delicious. It was a delightful experience that I can highly recommend.

The most perfect and idyllic wine tour. Ideal if you want a short tour or are travelling as a family. The children now understand how the grapes make it from vine to bottle and the process of Port making.
A short tour of a 19th century wine production facility (now a museum) preserved in its original state.
Fantastic family dogs to pet, orange juice for the children, an abundance of snacks and delicious wine and port.
No pressure to buy, although we will happily order a case or two when home. Producers of a sparkling Pinot Noir rose, citrus white, red and white and red port.
The family did not charge us for the children, but happily provided enough snacks and orange juice to keep them happy - thank you in abundance.

We booked this as we were driving Coimbra to Porto and it has made our trip. What an excellent experience and faultlessly excellent wines. It really was worth it, even if we weren’t driving past. The museum and history of wine making is so well presented and very easy to see how wine was made.

We had a wonderful winetour and tasting with Christina. She has a lot of knowledge about the museum/the wines and makes you feel at ease. The wines were delicious and so were the small dishes that came with them. The view is amazing and very peaceful. You also have the opportunity to buy some bottles. Would totally recommend!

It was a lovely setting and very delicious wine and snacks! Very relaxed, we were the only two who had booked the tour for that time so we had a private tour which was really nice. However, we only tasted 5 wines (a sparkling, a white, a red and two ports), not six like was said in the description and we were also not offered a tour of the vineyards themselves, only the museum. Overall it was good though!

We have toured 100’s of wineries around the world and this is I’ll always keep a top spot of memorable visits! We were traveling with our special needs son and our guide (Christina) was so gracious and welcoming to us and our son. Some seem to tolerate him being with us. Others like Christina seem to enjoy his presence! We didn’t expect we were reviving a private tour when we booked this. As such finding the location was a little challenging as when we pulled in there were no other cars and we thought we must be in the wrong location. After retracing our route a little, we came back and Christina was outside waving at us. The tour showcased the traditional wine making methods and the history of the winery. The tasting was very generous and was paired with local foods for enjoyment! An absolutely amazing experience!

We had an incredible time on this wine tour! Our guide was very warm and friendly, had a lot of knowledge about the wines and guided us through the day quite great and entertaining. We were able to taste 7 wines and the incredibly delicious olive oil, along with various small snacks. So the value for money is really top. The winery is beautiful and you have a great view.

Our host was delightful. She gave us a very informative tour of the wine museum & vineyards. We then we were lead to a tasting room that had a phenomenal view of the Winery & valley. We tasted three wines & two ports. All tastings were paired with delicious foods. We highly recommend this tour!

We arrived a bit early (as we were not quite sure of drive time) and they were quite apologetic and still setting up.
We were shown around the facilities with a nice explanation by Christina and then got to taste the wines. Each wine was accompanied with a nice food pairing and a great explanation.
Very friendly guide, good wine in beautiful location. Very well worth!
