A brilliant experience, we got to see a pod of dolphins! The caves amazing and staff really friendly. The staff knew all the history. They take you right up to the caves and allowed you plenty of time to look for the dolphins .

A fabulous way to spend a day in port in Funchal- take the gondola ride to the top and the entrance to the gardens is right there- just below the gondola station is a small cafe with excellent food and a great view down to the ocean; the garden tour spectacular- just not enough time (3 hours) to really take it all in

After quiet a long time 105 minutes on the bus collecting everyone. We had a lovely day. Toboggan was a must. Great fun and ride lasts a lot longer than expected with a nice photo in a prestation folder at the end this us a experience you have to try. Then to gardens which where lovely you can either stick with guide or explore on your own but the guide was very informative. Finally a trip down mountain side in cable car with great views. The organisers were great getting us to each attraction at the right time to minimise queuing. Overhaul great day

Superb experience , one of the best boat trips we ve ever been on. Great comfortable boat. Truly great crew - Jeusus driving/ guiding the boat, Bruno informing us & entertaining us with his good humour & music. answering any questions . Saw beautiful dolphins close up & the caves are incredible a must . Highly recommend . Thank you guys

Fantastic tour with Gil, our guide and driver, who is a bit of a legend. Combination of stops travelling through stunning scenery, sometimes off road or via roads which are off the beaten track. Gil is passionate about the island and told us so much about the flora and fauna, and the history of Madeira. Nice lunch too. One of our holiday highlights.

Excellent tour, really pleased we opted for it. Just had to do cable car and toboggan ride whilst in Funchal. Tour Guide was great and her knowledge of the local history and palace gardens was impressive and made the tour even better.

A very entertaining boat trip, the captain was very informative and we also got to see dolphins, up close. We would 100% recommend this trip. The afternoon was made even more entertaining, thanks to a group of young French men who ended up with a sing song coming back into port. Thank you lads.

We did this boat trip today and it was amazing, got to see some beautiful dolphins close up in the sea and our kids were amazed. We could not of asked for a nicer tour operator Bruno he was amazing at his job got our kids involved and he was on hand to answer any of our questions or queries we had. The captain was also great getting us to a great spot to see the dolphins and even let the kids sit on his chair at the end for a pic. Highly recommend this boat trip to anyone l. Thanks to all 3 of you today on that boat for making our kids and us have an amazing time xxx

Extremely well organised trip being collected and dropped off at bus stop opposite our Hotel. The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable regarding the history of the Island and the Monte garden. The flora and forna was breathtaking. The cable car trip going up gave spectacular views over Funchal and the optional wicker basket toboggan ride back down was an experience not to be missed. (The only negative being you can only pay in cash) which we discovered as one of us had to dash off to find ATM. The whole experience was a great experience and the 4 hours was packed full of adventure. We would wholeheartedly recommend this excursion.

Jardim Monte Palace and Garden is a venue that has something for everyone from meticulously maintained and well planned gardens, winding pathways, statues, art, water features, koi fish, historical references, sculptures, paintings, tiled mosaics, copious amounts of flora and fauna all with panoramic views. There is a photographic opportunity around every corner. Wear comfortable shoes and be mindful of uneven surfaces and areas of steep incline. Changes in weather happened quickly dress in layers and bring an umbrella, a raincoat or a poncho. Allow several hours to properly explore the venue.  It is ideal for everyone, families, couples, and solo explorers alike. We use the Funchal Monte Cable Car to arrive and depart. That in and of itself is an experience everyone must have at least once. At 15€ per person exploring Jardim Monte Palace and Gardens is time well spent in Madeira.

Fantastic gardens and great view over Funchal. The view from the cable car was disappointing, mainly over houses and roads. Not recommended unless your are going to go into the gardens.

Beautiful and amazing garden. The garden was very clean and well kept. Our tour guide was fabulous. She was very pleasant and informative.

We had a brilliant time, we saw the dolphins, which my daughter and I were thrilled about, and the caves and rock formations were amazing! Staff were very friendly and informative- thoroughly recommended

The tour guide was brilliant. Great knowledge and explanation of different aspects of the gardens. The weather wasn't the best but you can't predict the weather. It was well worth the visit and would definitely do it again

This boat tour was amazing. We were lucky enough first to see a large number of dolphins playing around the boat. Then we visited several of the caves along the coast between Albufeira and the Alfanzina Lighthouse. The landscape along this coast is breathtaking. The crew on the boat were informative and helpful. This was a highlight of our holiday in Algarve.
