This is an excellent service aimed at the more discerning client who wants a smaller group and is prepared to pay more. Guiding and local knowledge was very good and communication was also good. Can't fault!

Did two guided trail runs with Dino. One was a solo one and the other a group. Very knowledgeable about the island and its trails. Lovely routes and very friendly. Great days out. Very highly recommended.

Dino was absolutely great. Communication was very easy. He picked us up outside the cruise terminal and was very friendly and communicative. My wife and I were interested in some serious hiking. Apparently most tours take people almost to the top of the mountains and start from there and then walk down. we started at the bottom and hiked through the tunnel and then gradually up the mountains. This was exactly what we were looking for as we wanted to see the sites and get some exercise. We did a little over 7 miles and almost 700 “steps”. we learned a lot about the island and the construction of the Levadas. We had a great lunch at a café. Saw some beautiful scenery and waterfalls. Dino is in incredible shape and has run four 100 mile races! He leads running tours as well. So for him, this was a walk in the park. we’re both in our 70s so it was a bit more strenuous for us but certainly doable and enjoyable. He couldn’t have been more helpful. I would strongly recommend him.

We were looking for a more challenging walk than offered by the other operators and this company provided this by allowing us to do the Red Coast run as a private walk. Dinarte was an excellent and enthusiastic guide - judging the pace that we wished to walk at accurately. The walk was varied with spectacular views of both the north and south coasts. During the day he provided a lot of local and useful information. When we next visit the island, we will definitely do more day trips with him - with the added bonus that his maximum group size is 6, considerably smaller than other tour operators.

I booked the Fanal forest and Levada dos Cedros tour with Dino, but because the weather was so great he suggested focussing on the Final forest -- and I am so glad we did! It was absolutely breathtaking to first walk through open fields with brilliant sunshine and then through the mist surrounded by the magical laurel trees and peaceful cows. Dino is super friendly, super professional and extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history. Highly recommend this tour!

Dino is so knowledgeable of Levada do Rei. It makes an amazing hike even more enjoyable. The majority of the hike is a slight grade with narrow sections. I can’t recommend this enough, it was a true hi light of the trip.

A wonderful day walking the levadas with Dino, a courteous, knowledgeable and friendly guide. We were a small group. The other couple were friendly and we gelled immediately. The walk is reasonably strenuous, but Dino made sure we stopped often enough to make it a pleasant experience. He explained the history of the levadas and pointed out the interesting natural and man-made features of the forest. I can’t recommend the walk too highly. Do try it: it will be one of your lasting memories of Madeira.

If you love trail running or hiking this is an absolute must do! Dino is a fantastic guide and this tour is the best we have ever done ! He took some great pictures for us too. Easy to book online, pick up/drop off from hotel all included. Would 100% recommend great value for money. We will definitely do another one next time thank you Dino!

If you are a runner or a outdoor person, no matter what the weather is, this is definitely an experience that you don't wanna miss. Booking was straight forward and hassle free. Met with guide at the apartment and went from there. The tour is amazing! I had the Sea 2 Mountain Running Tour, the landscape and views are breath taking. My guide companion Dinarte was wonderful, kind and friendly. He kept the perfect pace while explaining me a lot of about islands nature, history, and about running of course. The local knowledge that you don’t find in any guidebook. I also received absolutely fantastic photos taken by Dinarte while our tour. It was the highlight of my Madeira trip. Highly reccomend to runners on any level.

It was absolutely amazing, I've had such an amazing time! I've walked the 25 fontes and Risco levadas on a Monday. Dino picked me up at my Airbnb in Santa Cruz and we were a international group of 6 people. I felt very well informed about the local nature and it was a pleasure to have booked this trip! In the end we've had a lunch at a cafe which was very delicious. Thanks again :)

Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Dino. We booked 2 hikes with him, 25 Fountains & the Lorano trail. Couldn’t rate this experience high enough, particularly the Lorano trail which remains largely untouched & felt like a hidden gem compared to other trails we had been on. Dino was not only punctual & knowledgable but on a personal level was just a lovely & friendly person who is passionate about the outdoors & what he does. If you’re looking for a more intimate hiking experience in Madeira definitely book with Dino.
