This was an amazing day. I have long wanted to go to Ponta do Pargo but this trip was so much more. The was made more special by the weather and the fantastic driver, Luis- so friendly and knowledgable.

Nice easy walk, only a short climb/few steps at beginning. Quite muddy in places along the levada as little direct sunlight under the trees. Nice small group tour and knowledgeable guide pointing out sights and plants along the way.

Great tour of West section of island. Knowledgeable friendly guide, plenty of time at each stop to see the main sights. Would recommend for first time visitors to Madeira.

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed both tour's (East & Sunday market) whilst in Madeira. Luis(junior) was so informative, friendly and knowledgeable about the island. I felt so comfortable throughout both tours and would urge people to consider happy tours whilst in Madeira. Luis's (junior) tours really were a highlight of our holidays, please do pass on our thanks to him. We will return to the island in future years and head straight to Happy Tours office. Thankyou.

We booked last minute and Madeira Happy Tours were great communicating with us and making sure we had all the relevant information. The walk itself was lovely, nothing too strenuous, the paths were flat and wide. We walked through some gorgeous countryside whilst following the levada. Our guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out different plants, fruits and birds. What a lovely way to see a bit of the island. Would certainly recommend using Madeira Happy Tours and we will do another levada walk with them if we return to Madeira.

Booking was easy and the instructions we received for meeting up were very clear. The trip was great, comfortable minibus and a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. We fitted a lot in but it never seemed rushed. A highlight was Pico do Areeiro, the views above the clouds were spectacular. If we return to Madeira we will certainly use Madeira Happy Tours again to see more of the Island.

My family of 5 did a private tour of the West with Marco as our guide. It was an incredible value to be able to tour at our own pace. Marco picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel and showed us the highlights for an entire day, including plenty of time for lunch and swimming in Porto Moniz. He was friendly and shared a lot about the island making it a perfect day out. I would definitely recommend! Also, when booking the tour company advised us to take a minivan tour with AC and front facing seats for comfort. I very much appreciated the honesty (vs. Jeep tour) as it was significantly less expensive and made for a very enjoyable tour.

Absolutely beautiful tour of the island and our driver Lewis was brilliant really made the tour an enjoyable experience and was very polite, wonderful day would recommend happy tours.

In April, we did the West Side Island tour with Lewis and had a fantastic time. The mini-bus was air conditioned - we had originally wanted a jeep tour but we're so grateful that we were in a very clean and cool minibus. Lewis was friendly, helpful, kind, picked us up from our hotel, was very knowledgeable about the tour as well as being humorous. He effortlessly explained in English and switched to German for one of our tour-mates, making sure that everyone understood. The actual tour was amazing-although you don't get long in each location, it's enough time to get a taste of the area and we found Madeira to be friendly and welcoming. The views were incredible, the island is beautiful and the way Madeira farms was of particular fascination to me. Swimming over lunch in the natural pools was without a doubt the highlight of our whole holiday; it was tranquil and beautiful, a memory we talk about regularly. We had heard others were worried that the price was so low, but the price is so fantastic for the quality of the tour - so much so that we booked another tour a few days later. If anyone visits Madeira, we would recommend Happy Tours, and Lewis, wholeheartedly.

A very nice Levada tour that works for most people (only a few slightly difficult passes). With a tourguide like Jorge you also get a very good insight into Madeiran flora in addition to the transport there and back again.

The Go West trip was wonderful. Our driver/guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and friendly and we saw some fabulous views
