My son and I spent an afternoon with Miguel making pastries de Nata. Miguel was engaging and knowledgeable about baking. Tasty treats. If you want to do something different or to escape the heat, I would recommend this baking class.

Totally worth it. Chef guided us to bake pastéis from scratch while being offered coffee and local wines and liquors multiple times. We really appreciated how the chef explained us in a detailed way the logic behind every step, in order to avoid the most common mistakes so that we could get the perfect pastéis. All of this in a comfortable and clean space, easy to find and close to public transportation lines. Recommended!

An amazing experience. It just ended up being my husband and me and we were very looked after. The host talked us through every step and helped us when we made mistakes. Location was easy to find. We ended up walking away with spare pastel de natas to eat during the day. An all round amazing experience!

The best thing about this baking class is that you will make de pasteis de nata from scratch. Puff pastry is not at all difficult to make! With the professional help from our chef, this class was a lot off fun. After the pasteis where baked we could taste them with a nice glass of Porto. They where delicious! Definitely recommended to take this class!

Super fun! The kitchen was in this cute little neighborhood. Everything from scratch. Drinks and still warm pasteis de nata. Brought 6 back with us for snacking later.

My husband and I had such a fun time doing this class. Despite getting lost on our way there and showing up a bit late, Miguel was so helpful and kind. He had such a great sense of humor and really made us feel at ease. The class was also a smaller size (probably around 8 people in total), which made it feel so much more interactive and relaxed. He had great history to share alongside the baking knowledge to guide us through the process. This is an enjoyable activity to slow down a bit, stay in the present, and enjoy the company.

We had an excellent experience with Cheg Miguel! We went as a family of 10 including 2 kids. Miguel was incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating to us. Not to mention the pasteis de natas were amazingly delicious! I would highly recommend this activity to anyone!

Miguel’s class is a must do! We booked it on a whim and so glad we did! It was so fun and our 7 and 10 year old loved it too!!! We made everything from scratch, including the puff pastry, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the finished pastel de nata with some delicious port and wine. Miguel is a true professional chef! I highly recommend this class.

Miguel is the perfect chef/teacher. Really friendly and helpful. He made the entire experience very fun. He moved around with a warm smile and great stories and made sure everyone succeeded. I learned the secrets to making the best most traditional Pasteis de Nata but also the history of the dish, why you won’t find vanilla in Portuguese cooking, and this dish’s place in Portuguese traditions. The cooking studio is really nice. We also met some other nice people there. Miguel broke out some traditional, local aperitifs to enjoy with our final product. 100% great cooking class.

Had a great pasteis de nata baking class with Miguel. Communication was clear from the time of booking until the end. His studio has great ambiance and Miguel was amiable throughout the class. Our egg tarts turned out great!

My girlfriend and I took Miguel’s class during our trip to Lisbon. The quality of the Pasteis de Nata we made were better than the famous ones from Pasteis de Belém! We had a great time hanging with Miguel and others in the class and enjoyed a glass of Ginja. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon, Miguel’s class is a can’t miss!

Amazing experience, my nieces and myself thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for a rainy day. The instructor is very nice, gentle and really skilled too.

The best souvenir we took home, a taste of Lisbon. We ended up with arguably the best tasting Pasteis de Nata that we had on our trip. They were perfectly cooked and warm when we got to sit down with a glass of wine at the end and try them. The host explain everything so easily that our teenage son did most of the work. The explanations were not only perfect but he also explain the why behind each step. I would recommend this 100%.
