James was an outstanding tour guide who deviated from the Coimbra itinerary to give our daughter (a scholar of ancient Rome) a tour of the amazing ruins of a Roman city in nearby Conimbra. The city was occupied in the 100s and the mosaics are fantastic, as is the museum. Our first stop in Tomar was equally wonderful, as we toured the romantic castle headquarters of the Knights Templar (circa 1100) and the baroque convent within its walls. Again, we loved James.

Our guide and driver James was Outstanding. Amazing setting and quite a spiritual experience as well. We had a marvelous time and well worth the visit!

This was the most amazing experience of our trip! We spent two days with Joacy who was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He goes far above and beyond for his clients even bringing us back to the airport to get our luggage that was lost. From beginning to end we felt like he was part of our family. Highly recommend!

We booked a last minute tour from a suggestion through our hotel. Our tour guide Nadina was amazing, drove us to Fatima from our hotel and showed us great spots and a bit of history.

Rodrigo is very professional and went the extra mile to pick up a delayed baggage and bring it all the way from Lisbon to Regua . I can only recommend.

Excellent tour experience. James was amazing! We were able to do so much more than if we had tried to visit on our own. And we would not have known how to negotiate the timing and transport up the hill for the Pena Palace visit. James took us to the BEST pastry shop in Sintra. Had wonderful details about Cascais and the area. Was able to drive into areas of Sintra that saved us much time walking.

I can’t say enough good things about James our tour guide extraordinaire and expert driver! We had the best day with pickup from our Lisbon hotel to the most beautiful sites. He knew all the best times to visit each spot, where to get the most delicious pastry in Sintra and made reservations for an incredible lunch after our stop at the Peña Palace. We had bought tickets online and he got us to the closest spot to catch the bus to the top with no waiting. He had so many great stories and we learned so much about this beautiful country. We even used him the next day to get us to the airport. Highly recommended. He’s the best!

Our driver was very punctual, kind and reliable. We definitely recommend him and will drive with him again when in Lisbon!

Fantastic tour guide! Gladson was wonderful. Took the time to explain history and significance of the locations. Gave us the time we needed to enjoy. Took us to great bakeries and restaurant for lunch. And was a great driver. Definitely made our tour of Sintra memorable.

We had great experiences on our trip, our driver Joacy was of a professional and executive level without size, he took us in a luxury executive Mercedes with cold drinks and Wi-Fi on board, we will definitely recommend it to all our social circles that travel and like high level experience.

Joacy was our driver for our trip from Porto with a stop at Fatima then to Lisbon. My family was very comfortable with him driving as he drove safely and carefully in the highway. He also booked us a very nice traditional Portuguese restaurant in Fatima which we really enjoyed.

After missing our connecting flight at Lisbon airport on Sunday, June 11th (with no help from TAP or the airport staff) and needing to get to Porto urgently, Julio and his team helped us get a driver to take us to Porto. They were swift in action, professional, understanding and most of all - we were finally able to relax on our drive to Porto. Thank you again. After spending 7 hours at Lisbon airport trying to get anyone to help us get rebooked and finally giving up - it was wonderful to see a friendly face as we walked out the doors of the airport. Black cab Portugal has very courteous and considerate drivers. James and Jo were particularly great. Jo was AMAZING! I travelled to Lisbon with my friends. He showed us Lisbon by night as well as a tour of Sintra and Cascais. He was very friendly and made us feel at ease. We had local cuisine at Toca do Julio restaurant. The portions were generous, food was tasty and wine was flowing. I highly recommend Black cab Portugal.
