The guide was really nice, well informed and shared all knowledge to use during the tour. We enjoyed the time. We remember the guide name is Jallaludin. He is so experienced. Its our unluck that we were not able to see big waves in Nazare because of weather. I recommend, book tour according to wave predictions. The Nazare big waves were the highlight of the tour and we were lucky to see them (Jal told us that the day before the sea was calm). Be aware that in this tour, you are on your own at the different locations. The guide/driver gives you some explanations and tips during the driving and waits for you in the car.Written December 19, 2024

After we went to Nazare and aaw the waves and the lighthouse. Miguel recommended a restaurant by the beach, best meal we’ve had so far! He talked to us about the history of Lisbon, the history of Cascais and Sintra! The trip was a small group that ended up being just us, and we LOVED IT! I was traveling with my mom and my 16 year old son, and he was super interested in everything John had to say. We absolutely recommend this tour. I found the trip to well planned; there was just enough time allocated at the different spots to enjoy lunch and shopping without feeling rushed or too slow. We were able to be very flexible about timing and what we wanted to do at the various destinations. John was very good at local knowledge. We very much enjoyed our conversations about other topics as well. He was very flexible with our needs. A real pro. The car was very comfortable. Extremely clean. If there was one negative, was the price. Our tour for three came to $600 Canadian. We felt that was pricey but necessary. The value was having a private tour and John as our guide. - barbarabC5463CT0 contributionsObidos and NazaréThis tour to Obidos and Nazaré was one of the highlights of our visit to Portugal. Obidos is a wonderful example of a medieval walled village with lots of nooks and crannies to explore! The ginjha was especially tasty and is a must try! The weather was pleasant and sunny and so although our visit to Nazaré did not present with the large waves we had hoped for, seeing the Atlantic ocean as calm as it was, was especially beautiful and did not disappoint. Our very knowledgeable guide John was a wealth of information both current and historical and it was our pleasure to spend the day with him!Written October 19, 2024
