Perhaps we’re jaded from our pinxtos tour in San Sebastián, but this was a “fine” tour, not anywhere close to our San Sebastián tour. We were an hour and a half into the tour and had eaten two sweets and one coffee. Interesting guide and very nice people on the tour, but not for foodies. Ignored our email request about pork, and didn’t respond to other emails.

We had an amazing afternoon tasting portuguese local food mixed with stories and interesting related facts. All this thanks to our guide Francisco which with his special latin venezuelan actitude made a great tour. Obrigado Francisco.

I highly recommend this tour. Rita was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. She truly cares for the food and culture and made this a memorable evening. The walk around Alfama was magical and the food was outstanding.

Ruthy's food tour was the most fun I had on my Portugal trip. Me and my 2 buddies both agreed it was fun, informational and a wonderful way to meet other travelers. Can't recommend it enough!

Our group of 4 joined Ruthie and Francisco (and several others) for an introduction to Lisboa after an overnight flight from Canada. It was the perfect start to our vacation! We wined and dined in several local establishments with Ruthie enthusiastically giving us lots of info on the area and its produce. She was great at getting to know each person as well as bringing us all together as a group. With our bellies filled and everyone feeling relaxed, we said goodbye to Ruthie and Francisco but most of us continued on to a lovely wine bar to cap off the evening. Thanks Ruthie and Francesco for a wonderful tour! Highly recommend!

Loved this tour with Mariana. Fun, interesting, good tastings. Learned a little of the history of Lisbon through the tastings. Mariana did a good job engaging all on the tour. She was delightful. We have done a lot of tastings all over the world and this was in the top. Loved it!

Ruthy was very good guide and took good care of all who joined the tour. She contacted us before and had even studied every ones name. That made us feel like old friends very soon.
