This was an awesome tour. We started with a morning walk around the seaside city of Cascais. And then we went to Quinta da Regaleira, which I would highly recommend. We then went to the Sintra historical center for lunch and shopping. We finished at Pena Place. We bought tickets in advance for Quinta da Regaleira, and we bought the Pena Palace tickets through this tour. We did not visit a third palace, which was fine with us and allowed more time at the other locations. Fernando did an excellent job. He was a fantastic tour guide and driver. He was able to skip us through the lines. I highly recommend doing this tour.

Fernando was an excellent tour guide who made this excursion extra special. He contacted us the day before and asked what our particular interests were and then planned the day around our answers. His being a local who grew up and still lives in Sintra enhanced his sharing of details about the sites we saw - Cascais, Quinta Regalaria and Pena Palace. He was well regarded by the people working at these sites, which made it easy for us to get past long lines and to even see sites not on our itinerary and eat at the best spots. Hiring Fernando for the day was well worth every euro we paid! He is a gem!

Fernando was an amazing host. I was traveling with my brother and my elderly parents and he did a wonderful job of catering to all of our needs and incorporating all of our varied interests. His knowledge of the area and the palaces was comprehensive and he was so much fun to be around, he made sure we tried all the yummy food and help us. Have a wonderful day.

We had Ricardo show us around the beautiful city of Lisbon. He was knowledgeable, great sense of humor, and his customer service is impeccable. When in Lisbon it is well worth your time to hire a custom driver tour for the day.

Great experience and only way to do Sintra! The ease of having our own driver and tour guide was so helpful to navigate the crowds. Jose was amazing and took great care of us and our daughter. We did front of the line tickets to Pena palace and Quinta regaleira and it was worth it, both beautiful stops.

We did the half day private tour with Susana and it was a great experience. She is so knowledgeable and taught us so much about Portugal. We opted to not visit the insides of the palaces which felt like the right choice for us. It was a memorable day!

Had a really great trip with Fernando. Learned so much about the history of the places. Barely waited in line while many other tourists were stuck in lines. The pena palace was easy and was nice to have a guide describing you the history ( know not all guides go in inside but ours did), also recommend taking the little bus and saving your time to sight see and enjoy the view versus walking up the hill. Highly recommend Quinta de regaleira, we were able to get through quick and went first up the hill to the well and only waited 10-15 mins while the line piled up after us. Lovely lunch in Sintra town, and got to see Cascais (would liked to spend more time there as well but it was a long day and just enough time to see and not feel rushed).

Scheduled this tour last minute and the communication from both the tour company and Paulo, are guide was exceptional, as we were picked up at the cruise port. Paulo was knowledgeable on the castles and Lisbon and was very passionate about telling us all about what we were seeing. Having a private guide was perfect as Paulo was able to cater to our needs and go at our pace not the groups. Paulo filled every minute of our day, so we got to see as much of Lisbon and the surrounding areas as possible. Paulo was personable, fun and informative and spoken excellent English. Highly recommend is you want to get out of the city and see some beautiful castles, towns, and sights.

We requested Ricardo Domingues as our tour guide because we had used him for a prior private tour and, again, he was great. He adjusted the destinations, and time at each, to our requests and preferences. He is polite, reliable, and always on time. And his English is very easy to understand. He even gave us recommendations for other cities on our trip.

I booked the day tour and I was very lucky to have Miguel (tour guide) and Paolo (driver). We went to Quinta de Regaleira, Pena Palace, National Palace of Sintra, Monserrate Palace, Cabo da Roca and left us to Cascais for a festival. Even though the day was heavy due to the four museums, Miguel and Paolo were the people who made the day without stress and comfortable. We discussed about many subjects (history, transcultural differences & similarities between Portugal and Greece). If you need a relaxing day while visiting museums/monuments, these are your guys. We were so comfortable that we will book with them in another tour for other places. So, I totally recommend them 👌👏👏👏

My husband and I went on a full day tour of Sintra lead by Miguel and we had a great time and saw a lot. Miguel was very knowledgeable and made it fun and easy to see and learn about the history and story behind all the sites we were seeing. It was so nice to leave the driving to Miguel and just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and sites. We highly recommend this trip to anyone else wanting to see Sintra.

Paulo was our tour guide around Lisbon and he went above and beyond to make sure our family saw as much as possible during our short time in Lisbon. He was friendly, kind and took the time to share stories and the history of his country. We had a wonderful day with Adriano. My husband and I traveled to Lisbon on. cruise with my older parents. Adriano took very good care of us, treating us like family. He took us to many beautiful sites in the area, explaining the history to us all while taking care to make sure my parents were comfortable and we were enjoying our day.
