We took an 8 day private tour with Portugal Magik with another couple - so 4 of us. Portugal Magik is truly magical. Gonzalo is the owner - he answers usually within 24 hours any questions. Diogo was our driver and guide the entire time. On a scale of 1 to 10 I wish I could give him 100!!! Seriously he was a very careful driver especially since we had unusually heavy rains. He was incredibly knowledgeable of all the history and facts of Portugal. In addition Diogo added some special extra stops for us - including a sardine factory among others. He arranged daily lunches at special restaurants and helped order our food so we experienced Portugal cuisine. Diogo was always early on our daily pickups so no worries. We had made dinner reservations in advance so he confirmed the restaurants and what we could order. He cleaned the Mercedes van every night and had umbrellas and water for us. We could not have seen 1/2 of what we saw on our own. We saw Lisbon and did day trips to Sintra and other cities, then Coinbra and on to Porto.Diogo met us at the airport and deposited us there for our way home. Portugal Magik is worth its weight in gold!!!!

We traveled Portugal in October 2023 and used Gonzalo and his team from Portugal Magik to coordinate our entire trip through Portugal. This was the first time we have used a private guide for 4 people on an entire excursion. Diogo was fantastic and well worth the cost. His knowledge, communication skills and flexibility allowed for the trip to go smoothly and always checking with us for input. Without Diogo, we would not have experienced what we did. This is an amazing way to see Portugal! Highly recommended. This is our second tour with Portugal Magik and they've both been amazing. We were impressed by both our guide's (Miguel) knowledge and ability to customize the tour to what we wanted. It was perfect! He took us to Sintra and to lovely Cascais...with many incredible sights on the way. The surf of Portugal. A highlight of the trip was getting to know Miguel and him taking us to lunch at a local seafood restaurant. He helped us order the best meal we had in Portugal! We did the Fatima 2 day private tour as well as the Lisbon half day tour with Magic private tours. Talk to Gonzalo! He will help you plan this! Our long planned trip to Portugal began with a private tour to Fatima, a lifelong dream. Our driver, Miguel was outstanding. He did absolutely everything he could to help us to get the very most memorable experience from our trip. He was sensitive to our needs, understood the spiritual significance of the trip, was professional in very way, and went above and beyond to gives suggestions and help when needed. He was flexible in his plans to include what we chose to do. Because of him, we were able to see much more and avail ourselves of more than if we had not had him as our driver and guide. Also, we had an extra half day with him in Lisbon and again, he took us to places we would not have been able to get to on our own including the Church of St. Anthony (where the saint was born) and the Sanctuary of Christ the King with its gorgeous statue overlooking Lisbon. He is also an excellent driver and so knowledgeable about how to get places! When we had to say goodbye, it was difficult because Miguel had done so much for us and we were extremely grateful.

Victor was wonderful. Since we had been to Fatima three times previously, he provided us with just enough freedom to do what we wanted, while always present with additional information and to make sure everything went smoothly. Excellent.

Had a good day with Francisco exploring Pena palace lakes, Sintra village, national palace of Sintra, Quinta da regaleira, azenhas do mar, praia grande, cabo da roca, guincho, Cascais and Estoril. He took us to a pleasant lunch at marisco na praça in Cascais and tried the best ice cream "Santini"

My husband and I had 2 great private tours with Andre. We toured Lisbon on day 1. Andre made sure we saw all the important sights in Lisbon and took us to a wonderful, non touristic restaurant for lunch. He explained the history of Portugal which really made all the sights more meaningful. On our 2nd day we toured the Pena Palace and Sintra. Andre was very timely and was a pleasure to spend time with. The company was easy to work with and had great communication prior to our tours. We highly recommend using them for touring in Lisbon and Sintra.

Our tour of Lisbon was outstanding. Our guide Andrea was so knowledgeable and accommodating. This was our first time in Lisbon and now I have a great feel for the entire city. Exceptional experience. We booked very last minute and could not have been happier. A full-day, completely personalized tour which evolved as the day progressed. Francis Canas, our guide and driver, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us historical, geographical, social and personal insight along the way. Due to inclement weather we were able to detour and change our minds, stop for a delicious meal on the beach and learn so much along the way. Highly, highly recommend....and we are very particular. You won't be disappointed.

Miguel of Portugal Magik took us on three tours: 1) Airport Arrival with introduction to Lisbon, 2) Sintra and Capo do Roca, 3)transfer to Porto with a stop in Fatima. Each trip was absolutely incredible. Miguel was prompt, knowledgeable, energetic, thorough and truly a pleasure to spend hours with. Along with his engaging personality, he was also a safe and responsible driver and very interesting and informed conversationist and listener. When he realized my husband loved to cook he helped him find a special traditional dish for grilling chorizo and coached him in the unique cooking technique involved! This is just one example of Miguel’s dedication. We can’t say enough about Miquel! He is an exceptional ambassador for Portugal! We will highly recommend him to our friends and family!

We were thrilled with our private day trip to Sintra and surrounds. Our driver Francisco was a font of information regarding the history of Portugal. We spent a delightful day together - we were particularly impressed with the flexibility being able to change our original destination due to the weather conditions. We would use Magik cars again in a flash. Highly recommended.

Ours was a full day private group tour of Nazare and Obidos. Our guide Jose (Joe) was funny, friendly and made our tour memorable. Despite the poor weather we all really enjoyed our day!

We experienced a wonderful, memorable journey starting in beautiful Sintra and the Peña Palace. With the guidance of Miguel, we learned much of the history of these mystical, historical sites high up on the mountains. With a leisurely pace, we discovered these areas as well as awe inspiring Caba da Rocha and relaxing Cascais. We had plenty of time to have Travesseiros and cappuccinos in Sintra and a delicious prawns and wine in Cascais. One of the most important aspects of travel is the human connection. Miguel exemplified. He is a true gentleman who was able to let experience the past and present. Furthermore, we saw in him, as well as many other Portuguese, a welcoming, sincere kindness.
