Mario is amazing! We did a three hour tour with him and he was somehow able to take us to all the major stops without making us feel rushed. Mario is passionate about Lisbon and increasingly knowledgeable. He was able to tell a funny and memorable story for every stop we had. We loved our tour and 100% recommend!!

We booked a tour with Lisbon Tuk Tours and requested Mario as our guide after reading some of his reviews. What a good decision it was! Mario has an encyclopedic knowledge of Lisbon’s neighborhoods, history and culture. We saw gorgeous historic neighborhoods and beautiful vistas. The background that he added at some of our stops really made the tour interesting and fun. Mario is also an incredibly kind person who was patient and helpful as I attempted to navigate my way around the steps and cobblestones of Lisbon following recent ankle surgery. My husband and I agreed that it was a fantastic way to get an overview of the city. Thanks to Mario for a day that we will never forget!

We chose a lady driver as was not disappointed Patricia’s knowledge about Lisbon was second to none. We visited all the important places and nothing was too much trouble we could dictate our itinerary but we left this to Patricia as was not disappointed. Husband and I have done private tours all over the world and can say, without reservation, that Mario provided the best of the best. Why? Born and raised in Lisbon, the city runs through his veins in a way that can’t be just learned. He has a vast knowledge of the history and meaning behind the typical tourist sites as well as little known gems. This is not just a recitation of dates, names and places; you are provided colour and story behind everything you see. You quickly sense you are with someone who not only loves what he does, but wants to share that with you, and candidly answer all your questions about his people, his city and his culture. He speaks 5 languages (English very well - he picks up nuances comfortably) has a good sense of humour, has a warm, friendly but not overly familiar demeanour, and is just a very, very, nice man. My guide, François, took me on a 2-hour tour around Lisbon. After a day hiking up and down Lisbon’s streets, sitting back in the tuk tuk was a welcome rest. François was very knowledgeable about Lisbon and tailored the tour to my preferences. The views were spectacular! We booked 2 Tuk Tuk for a 3 hour Lisbon tour, we were picked up from the cruise terminal, the guys turned up right on time, it was like meeting old friends. This was a great tour going places where you just couldn't walk or go by bus. What a beautiful city we went all around old Lisbon and down to the bustling town centre. Tuk Tuks were clean and well maintained would highly recommend this company to anybody.

Brilliant tour around Lisbon - over 4 hours of beautiful sights and great information from our guide. We had a few stop off during the afternoon including a visit to the famous custard tart cafe - they were delicious! I would definitely recommend it!

We were met at the cruise terminal by with his electric powered tuk tuc. He was a perfect gentleman and spoke good English. He was very knowledgeable and took the four of us everywhere. First of all, seeing Lisbon by Tuk Tuk is definitely the way to go. The small streets and lots of hills make doing a walking tour an exhausting and sweaty experience. By Tuk Tuk you can visit all the key sights and keep the walking for when you actually get there. Because the Tuk Tuks are open-top you don’t miss out on seeing things as you pass them. We were met by João who was our fantastic tour guide for the next 2 hours. João’s lively personality was matched by his extensive knowledge of Lisbon and he really brought the city’s history to life with colourful stories and anecdotes. He also seems to know EVERYBODY in Lisbon wherever we went, which led us to calling him ‘Mr Lisbon’. I hope he runs for mayor one day.

A wonderful,educational and comfortable way to get to know the city with your private guide! Do treat yourself with a tour, it is worth it - especially in the city of seven hills, which are not easy to climb ;) Mario was super friendly, and he was a source of many interesting facts and stories about the beautiful Lisbon and the whole country, ready to help you with your questions, giving useful tips. This tour was arranged by my hotel as I requested for a tuktuk tour. We did the walking tour yesterday ( 5hrs). It was quite a torture because the weather was so hot nd the cobblestones and slopes make walking very tiring. John ( Joâo in Portuguese) was very good and funny. We had a 5 hour tour ( customized). We enjoyed it thoroughly. We are a family of 5 ( all adults) and the tuktuk was just nice.
