Carla was very knowledge and personable We got a taste of what’s it’s like living in Portugal She told us about lives of ordinary citizens , their struggles and aspirations We visited a place where we might consider living once we retire You felt comfortable and satisfied with our experience

We had a great Sintra experience with Fernando. He impressed with his knowledge and driving skills. He also gave us great restaurant tips and information for future trips to Portugal. I highly recommend his tours.

Ricardo was terrific. We previously had visited locations here intended to take us. On the fly he amended our itinerary and we visited a charming seaside village and enjoyed a coffee from a scenic location near crashing ocean waves. When we were separated as part of the program he checked on us regularly and guided us by telephone when we got lost. He sent us numerous texts with information about areas that we expressed interest in and sent us additional information after out tour was complete. His pride and love for his country was evident. We can't imagine a more enjoyable day.

Due to limit of time this private trip provide us with a good experience to know about Sentra as a touristic destination and a big thanks to our guide Sandro who was very informative and understanding of our needs during this experience.

First off, our guide was Margarida and she was AMAZING! She custom planned our tour for exactly what we wanted and to maximize our time. We saw Quinta Da Regaleira and the gardens and structures were so incredible. Margarida made sure that we got tickets at 10am and got to the well first as it gets busy as soon as it opens. After that, we walked to the town of Sintra (10 min) and had lunch and drinks with suggestions from our guide. After that, we drove to the Pena Palace and had a guided tour. Beautiful spot with gorgeous views! Then we drove over to Cascais to see the “Boca de Inferno”, a quick stop at the beach and then back to our hotel. Margarida was knowledgeable, sweet and a new friend for life. 😌 Great tour and guide. Highly recommend.

Sintra is such a beautiful place, so rich in history with magnificent architecture. In particular I would like to compliment my guide, Mehdi, who accompanied me throughout the tour. Mehdi is very pleasant and extremely knowledgable in all aspects of Portuguese history, culture and architecture. It was such a pleasure to have him as my guide and I truly feel enriched by the experience!

My friends and I did full day private tour of Sintra with guided tour of Pena Palace. We absolutely LOVED our experience with Ricardo. He has a passion for his country and it shows! He is very knowledgeable, very witty, great personality and made our experience so amazing, especially the guided visit at Pena Palace! Merci beaucoup Ricardo! Nous avons tellement apprécié ❤️ 🇵🇹 !!

I use TripAdvisor and Viator frequently to select tours (30+ times). I have never been mislead and have had satisfaction with every selection to date ... until this SCAM tour. In the itinerary/description, they list 9 sites to be visited. Later, after you book, they tell you will need to choose 3 of 6 monuments. What? not 3 of nine, buy 3 of six. ??? When I contacted the tour company days prior, and then again the night prior - communication was terrible. AND, the women stated that I would discuss my choices with the driver when he picked me up. When I discussed our itinerary with the driver/guide, he gave me excuses as to why it would be difficult to see certain places because of traffic, but we would try. HE DIDN'T EVEN TRY. He dropped us off and picked us up 3 hours later. The result ... WE ONLY went to National Palace of Queluz for 5 minutes, Quinta da Regaleira (unguided) for an hour, spent 2 hours in town (unguided) and the Pena Palace. THAT IS IT. When I confronted the drive/guide, he blamed Viator. He stated their description is wrong and a lot of customers complain. WHAT? I have never had an issue with Viator. And ... if the tour description is wrong, SWINGO should have it changed. I chose to spend twice as much on this tour because of the comprehensive itinerary. I should have gone with a different tour company. YOU SHOULD GO WITH ANOTHER TOUR COMPANY.

Mr Sandro was the best boss! If you are looking for someone passionate about history he is your go to man. You can tell he knows lots about Portugal, its history, and ensuring you have a good time. He was very thorough and allowed us to take all the time we needed plus gave us tips on what things to miss, how to skip the lines, and how to have the best overall experience. He planned our day so well we were able to see five different historical and important sites. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer man who made sure we were hydrated and had good snacks. Thanks Mr. Sandro!

Miguel is an absolutely amazing guide. He knows Portugal's history and culture. We met quite a few tour guides during our two weeks in country. None were as good as Miguel Leme.

Such an amazing day filled with so much history and beauty. Ricardo was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to chat, engage and discuss various topics with my twenty one year old son as well as with my dad who is eighty. It was a fabulous day and experience from start to finish. We had a wet and foggy day but our tour guide Margarida turned our day into sunshine and beauty with her kindness and knowledge. We enjoyed exploring the coast and walking around CasCais with a little time for a coffee and shopping. Then we headed to Sintra to see its beauty and learn its history. Again, our views were hampered by weather but Margarida kept us informed of all the palaces history, architectural elements, the monarchy and more. I would not hesitate to do this tour again and I know just the guide to ask for… You will not be disappointed.

Rafael, our driver was amazing. He was both safe and very informative. He took us off the beaten pass to show us places that gave us a real sense of the city and its culture. Highly recommend him as a driver.

This experience was a five out of five. Excellent. It is always a wonderful gift when you get a tour guide that matches his detailed knowledge of the sites you are touring with passion for the culture and history of the area. That was exactly what was gifted to us with our private tour with Sandro Santos today. Sandro was enthusiastic and thorough when telling us about the history of Lisbon, the area surrounding the town of Sintra along with the Convento dos Compuchos. It was a fabulous day. We can’t wait to book him again on our next visit to Lisbon.
