What an amazing experience. Andre picked us up and we went on a tour of Alfama at sunset. This included breathtaking views, walks through centuries old alleys and walkways, all the while learning the city’s history. The absolute best part however was the dinner and Fado show. Just wow. The Fado singer was so incredible I cried, not to mention the guitar players! They gained an instant fan with my husband. Also the restaurant owner is also a Fado singer! The food and wine were amazing,and the ambiance was welcoming and loving. Andre did a spectacular job of curating an experience that is authentic, engaging and absolutely memorable.

What a perfect ending to our stay in Lisbon! André showed a part of Lisbon that really reflected the people! From the time of pick up from the hotel, he shared the history and highlights of Lisbon. The Fado show and dinner was amazing! The talented musicians and singers shared the melancholy of Fado. There was something enchanting about touring the streets of Alfama after the Fado show!

Such a great experience to have a local tour guide give us a unique insight into the history of Lisbon. Some amazing sights explored, during our walking tour in addition to a knowledgable tour guide! The Fado music during the evening meal was suitably impressive. Three sets of music lasting more or less two hours. Noticeable was the fact the venue was clearly for the locals which added to the authenticity of the entire experience. The food was delicious, with a selection of some high-end wines at reasonable prices. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all round and highly recommended!

We had a great time at the Fados tour. The food was good. The Fados were great. There were three different Fados singers at the restaurant. The service was good. Fados are sang in sets of Three Songs with breaks in between. Really enjoyed the evening. I recommend it.

Awesome evening ! Live music and food were great!! Our travel guide andre was very knowledgeable and spoke both English and French very well. Wes a very pleaseant experience and would defiantly recommend

The Fado house that we work is one of the best places to listen real fado in the oldest quarter of Alfama.
