Knowledgeable on the culture of Lisbon
I love the entire team. Sonia, Miguel, Pedro, and Pedro. My wife is a travel agent. She was having a hard time finding a tour company that would accommodate a group. When I say she lucked upon a jewel with this company. The time, care, and knowledge of the three tours we took. I was in awe of everything that was explained about the history , food and wine of their culture. I highly recommend this company for all your tours, in Lisbon.

          Great customer service, knowledgeable. enthusiastic
I am a travel agent. I had been looking for a tour company that would accommodate a large group. Finally, I located I Go Portugal and Pedro, the owner and I was emailing back and forth. His responded immediately to my emails Words can not explain the service we received. June 18, 10 of us did the wine tasting. Our drivers on this day was Sonia and Miguel. June 19 12 of us did the Lisbon Tasting. It was absolutely amazing. O n this day we had Pedro, the owner and Miguel. Pedro had to leave us but, we met the other colleague, Pedro. Our last day was Sintra on today. The service was excellent, professional. I highly recommend IGo Portugal for your tour service in Portugal. On all three days we received the red carpet service Call them or email them. Thank you Pedro, Sonia, Miguel, Pedro

          Wonderful Day Trip!
We booked a private day tour with Pedro M while staying in Lisbon. We had been wanting to see Nazare after watching the documentary, 100 Foot Wave. Pedro was prompt on arrival and asked us about what was important for us to see to make sure he allowed enough time at each stop. Our first stop was Fatima which was beautiful and very serene. On our way, Pedro gave us the “short version” of Portuguese history. He was amazing and so knowledgeable. After Fatima we drove to Nazare. Beautiful city and did not disappoint. He made reservations at his favorite seafood restaurant and we had a lovely lunch. We would definitely recommend I Go Portugal and Pedro M to anyone who visits Lisbon. Thank you Pedro! Robyn & Brent

          Great day trip
Beautiful day trip. The views from quaint Monsaraz were stunning! Our guide, Pietro, was very knowledgeable and thorough. On the drive from Lisbon he started on the the very interesting history of Portugal. Evora and the Chapel of Bones was interesting and Pietro arranged a delightful lunch spot.

          Gorgeous day in Fatima!
We had a lovely day at Fatima today. Our guide, Carlos, was very insistent that the tour could be whatever we wanted it to be. As we were on a cruise ship (with tight deadline for departure) we wanted to maximize our time in Fatima. While we could have rushed to see some of the other stops, I’m glad that we chose to take our time and explore Fatima. We stayed for a Catholic Mass, which was very important to us for this visit. Carlos was very considerate of my knee injury, and was very patient with me and my mobility issues. After Fatima, instead of rushing to another destination, we chose to go back to Lisbon for a local lunch and enjoyed the Portuguese cuisine. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience a private unique experience at your own pace!

Wonderful tour with excellent tour guide Pedro M!
We had an amazing day with a knowledgable and fun tour guide, Pedro M. We had an excellent time visiting all the sites and loved the extensive knowledge of the history of not just the Pena Palace and Sintra but the history of all of Portugal, we loved it!

          Thank you Fernando!!
This was a great experience thanks to our guide Fernando! Since it was just me & my partner, we had the privilege of having a private tour with Fernando. He showed us and explained everything to us with the history of the castle, took pictures and gave us time to enjoy alone too, which we appreciated. Really a great way to see all of these places with the knowledge of a local! And of course our favorite place : Cabo Da Roca was simply breathtakingly beautiful!!!

Awesome trip with stops at four cities starting with Fatima.
Our tour started with a pickup at our Lisbon apartment. Our guide, Anna, was extremely friendly and asked us what we wanted to do for our tour that day so that she could tailor the experience to what we wanted to get out of if for the day. Our first stop was Fatima, Anna explained the history of the site and the various stories behind all buildings and the devotions we were seeing first hand. You felt a sense of peace in the original chapel. Next we went to Batalha, home to one of the largest gothic monasteries and churches. Absolutely beautiful architecture. Then on to Nazare, home of the largest waves in the world. What a view overlooking the ocean. She booked a reservation at a local seafood restaurant, everything was so fresh. Definitely check out the lobster and octopus rolls! Our final stop was to Obidos, a town within castle walls. It was there where we had our shot of Ginjinha in a chocolate shot glass. It was much better than the one we had on a food and wine tour in Lisbon. Anna was a delight to spend the day with and we appreciated all of her insights during each of our stops. I would recommend taking this tour through I Go Portugal. Thanks Anna!

Fantastic Tour & Guide to Sintra and Coast
Pedro made our experience truly memorable. He was not only very knowledgeable - with a great ability to speak with versatility in English, Spanish, and Portuguese - he was incredibly conscientious, polite, and clearly well known/friendly with all of the folks who work at the various palaces and sights. He was able to get us a quick reservation for lunch at a delightful restaurant with a picture perfect view of the coast. TIP - Be sure to reach out to the tour guide directly to let them know if you have any special requests.

A great guide in Sintra, Portugal
Our guide Sonia took us on a memorable trip to the many palaces and scenic sights of Sintra. We were so happy that she was able to be flexible and fulfill all of our requests on our private tour. That's why you take a private tour instead of a group tour. Right?! But some tour guides can only give a tour that fits their plan. Sonia wasn't that kind of guide. We started off the tour following her plan and as the day went on, and with her many great suggestions and advice, we were able to tell her what we wanted to do and she made it all happen. She proved to be immensely knowledgeable about every site we visited as well as extraordinarily flexible and good natured about our ever changing itinerary. She proved also to be a great driver, navigating the narrow and twisting roads. Driving us to secret sites where we could take the perfect picture! Sonia was also wonderfully good humored and fun to be with. She was also attentive to our needs. She engaged with us when the time was right, and gave us space when we wanted it. A great person and a great guide!! Do yourself a favor and give her a call when you are in Portugal! By the way she will take you anywhere in the country.

What a great experience! Our guide Miguel's knowledge of history, his professional demeanor, and his friendly personality all combined to make the tour a memorable one. Exceptional!

Private Tour to Sintra and Cascais
Pedro M. picked us up at the hotel and was kind enough to wait as we were delayed at the front desk. He is very polite, knowledgeable, and a smooth driver. He provided us with water and snacks, which was a big plus in sunny Portugal. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a private tour to Sintra and Cascais, which is definitely worth it!

Pedro M is a wealth of knowledge about Portugal's history and current-day society. He expertly weaved the past and the present on our visit to Coimbra, a fascinating city with the third-oldest university in Europe that boasts an extraordinary Baroque library. We had a delightful lunch at a spot he suggested in the center of the medieval old town and learned a great deal about the role of the Catholic Church in Portugal during our visit to the Santa Cruz Church and monastery. I would highly recommend a tour with him.

We had a FANTASTIC tour of Coimbra and the primary reason was because of our tour guide Miguel. We felt like we were in a history class, and he was able to share so much information about the area, the country, and. It’s culture. He was such an engaging person and so enjoyable to spend the day with. I would HIGHLY recommend booking a tour with him, if wanting to know about Lisbon, Sinatra, Coimbra or anywhere else you want to see. Was a great tour!
