We had a beautiful trip to Sintra/Cascais with Mario, the breathtaking views and inspirational environment was more than we expected. This is a must do on your Portugal holiday!! This tour was very scenic. Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. We actually spent some of our free time with him asking more questions. This place is gorgeous & so under rated. Happy to have gone in the off season to avoid all the crowds. The Restaurant Mario suggested for lunch was a nice representation of typical Portuguese food. It was AMAZING!! The drive was safe and comfortable. Highly Recommend this tour. Would love to go back to portugal some day.

What a wonderful tour of beautiful Sintra and Cascais. The Pena Castle was truly a site to behold. The lines are long but well worth it. And everything about Cascais was beautiful. Our driver Mario was very friendly and flexible with plans. Highly recommended.

David provided us with a wonderful tour to Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca. He had an indepth knowledge of the locations and was a pleasure to be with. Allowed plenty of time for enjoying the various locations on foot.

Nuno S was a wonderful host for our family's tour of western Portugal. He was very engaging, entertaining, smart and polite. We were happy that he was on time and consistently took care of our every need. An otherwise rainy day was a highlight of our vacation!

We 2 couples from the US did a full day van tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril with Nuno on the last day of our Portugal vacation. Nuno was prompt, personable, enthusiastic, and filled with stories and history. What a great communicator and teacher. He was flexible, relaxed, honest, and accommodating. Our only issue was choosing to do this tour on a national holiday (and a Monday and a totally gorgeous sunny day) which meant Sintra was over the top crowded with long lines and traffic. We couldn't see any of the palaces we had hoped to see, although Nuno eventually managed to get us into Monserrat. He was also truly surprised and frustrated with the crowds, but maintained a professional demeanor and helped us make the best of the day-- we learned a lot from him and had very nice visits to Cabo do Roca, Cascais and Estoril on the way back to Lisbon. It wasn't exactly what we hoped, but it was a good day in the end. If we ever decided to do this tour again, we would buy palace tickets in advance and choose a less popular day to visit (and definitely not a holiday)--- we might even choose a less popular day trip outside of Lisbon. We would definitely choose Sardinha do Bairro tours if we return in the future!

We had the 2 hour tour in Lisbon with Nuno. He was well informed and took us to all the best places and explained everything. We also went in a daily tour to Sintra and Cascais with Mario. We had a great time, Mario was very patient with us and showed us beautiful palaces and other places. He was borned and raised in the area so he knew everything, he also took us to a nice place for lunch. Thank you Mario....!

We booked this tour for our family of 5 to go see Pena Palace in Sintra. They were great with the pre-flight communication and promptly at 9am Anna arrived in a brand new van, stocked with water. Anna answered so many questions and made sure to show us all the sights as we left Lisbon. My father was handicapped and Anna was so accommodating, without her our day would have been a nightmare. We had plenty of time to explore the palace before heading into Sintra. Anna recommended a really good restaurant and the pastry shop with the absolute best tasting pastries we had during our trip. It was a great day at our own pace and Anna made that possible!!

I see many different day tours available to Sinatra from Lisbon. When I compare them there doesn't seem to be much difference between the higher priced and some of the mid priced ones. I'm planning a 2020 trip and would like to consider including a day trip to Sinatra. I would like to do an 8 hour tour with my wife an I which could be shared. I would like to include the Pena castle with admission tickets included. I will be coming back to the Sinatra area with a car and could see things that may not have been covered on the 8 hour tour.
