Daniel was our personal tour guide. He was right on time picking us up at 8am at our rented apartment in Lisbon...my daughter and son-in-law and 3 yr old grandson and me. He was warm and personable, and a font of knowledge all the way to Fatima, through the entire visit in the village and at the various shrine sites. He took us to a private shopping venue, and to a wonderful lunch restaurant. Daniel was there waiting for us right on time after the 3:30 pm Mass. The afternoon temperature reached 90 F and so unfortunately it was a long, hot ride back to Lisbon.

This was an amazing experience especially with Daniel my tour guide who was absolutely a pleasure to meet and deal with. He made everything so easy by driving and guiding us around Fátima and explaining the whole tour. Wonderful thorough experience! Daniel was very knowledgeable and gave us ample time to pray and visit the different locations. Being a full day experience was important for me and my mother as we wanted to experience all of Fatima. We went to Aljustrel first to see the sites of the apparitions of Mary and the angel as well as the homes of the children. Lunch was at a local family owned restaurant where we ate fresh fish that was so good! We then went to the shrine. Absolutely beautiful! We had Mass later in the day and had our rosaries etc blessed. For any believer, the full day tour really gives you the full experience of visiting Fatima and how life was back then for the children. Daniel was a wonderful guide! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time visiting the 3 separate Templar castles. Our guide, Daniela, expertly navigated the busy crowds, and patiently allowed us the time to explore and enjoy each site, even though it meant she would work past the allotted time for our tour. Also, her historical knowledge made for an even better day for us.. We highly recommend this tour, and this company.

Daniela’s service, knowledge, kindness, storytelling and sense of humor made this a perfect tour from start to finish. My mom and I couldn’t have asked for more. Our tour with Daniela was fantastic. From the moment that she picked us up, she immersed us in Fátima and its history, peppered with wonderful conversation and funny anecdotes. We loved this tour! There were accommodations made for pictures, bathroom breaks, a little shopping, a lunch in town, and private time to explore and embrace the spirituality of Fatima. Do not hesitate to book a tour with Magnificat Tours, it was the highlight of our trip!! Daniela was our guide and she was EXCEPTIONAL (and a good driver)!! I wish we booked an all day Fatima tour, but she made sure we saw everything important which we truly appreciated. Daniela is a walking Catholic encyclopedia and she made this trip a unique spiritual experience. For example, she gave us instructions on how we could go to Reconciliation there which was very special. As for logistics, my husband and I were picked up from our Lisbon hotel in the morning and Daniela was kind enough to drop us off at a different location in the afternoon. On the tour, we had time for a quick gift shop stop, toured the highlights (both walking and driving) and had time for our own private reflection. I am still processing all I learned from this tour since Fatima was a bucket list trip for me!

You get to see everything that has to do with the apparitions of Fatima. It is well paced and our tour guide was excellent!

Daniella was absolutely amazing! My husband and I did the private half day tour and we cannot recommend it enough. Professional, clean van, knows the history of Portugal and Fatima. Was able to talk with us on the way there and back. If we could, we would have spent the whole day with Daniella! Thank you so much for adding the sweet touch to our tour. Our day with Daniel in Fatima was outstanding and highly recommended. It was truly a spiritual and blessed day. Daniel’s intimate knowledge of all the sites and the stories behind all the blessed events made for a visit that will not soon be forgotten. If you are looking for a full day to immerse yourself in the experience and spirituality of the sanctuary at Fatima, the homes of Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia and the Sacred Way, this day is not to be missed.

Excellent tour overall. Our guide and driver, Daniel S., was punctual, friendly and so knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of the 3 children and Our Lady. Fatima was such a peaceful, little town. We saw the children’s homes, the church where they were baptized and the garden where the Angel appeared. The cathedral was beautiful and the children’s tombs were a sight to behold. We were able to stop by a store to buy souvenirs for family and friends. Daniel even helped us track our missing luggage! Daniel was an excellent tour guide for our first trip to Fatima. We spent time to see the village where Blessed Lucia, St. Francisco & St. Jacinta lived. He told the story so well for us to learn the lives of these children, and how the Angel of Peace & Our Lady appeared in this small village. It was an enlightening and touching tour. We were also given enough time to hear mass at the Basilica, pray, meditate and soak in the blessings of this trip to see the apparition site of Our Lady of Fatima.

It was our first time in Lisbon, a one-day stop on a cruise and we wanted to make the best of it, so we booked a 4 hr tour with Magnificat Tours. We were expecting a small group but it was just us and the marvelous guide, Danielle. Danielle was extraordinary! Trained as an architect with post-grad education in art and history, the history and architecture of this beautiful city and fascinating country came to life with her delightful narrative and beautiful English. Her expert driving and the Mercedes van were nice, too! The time with her passed all too quickly. We look forward to returning to Lisbon and will use this family owned and operated tour company.

We highly recommend this tour if you want a full day at Fatima exploring all the various locales. Daniel was a fantastic driver and guide. We were picked up on time at our hotel and enjoyed a beautiful drive to Fatima. This was a private tour so we were able to tailor it to our wishes. Daniel provided us with much information, both verbal and written. We visited many sights such as the village and the shepherd’s stations of the cross, had a delicious lunch at a restaurant recommended by Daniel, then spent the afternoon at the Shrine itself, having lots of time to experience the peace and spirituality of the place. Daniel gave us lots of time to explore on our own and let us set the pace for the day. He was so knowledgeable and made the day so informative and enjoyable.
