About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- olyak8570 contributionsVery disappointed with the serviceWe never went, because we mistakenly put the wrong date. I tried to cancel and reschedule, but no luck. The tour agent was very short and could not offer any other solutions. We lost 100% of our payment. Very dissatisfying. Terrible customer service.Written April 1, 2024

- Alicia N0 contributionsCHARMING LITTLE TOWNMy husband and I loved the the experience we had in this tour. We learned a lot about the Monastery and all the things it has inside, but we loved more the little fishing village and the cute houses by the sea. We were very lucky with the weather also. We didnt realise Portugal was such an old country with so much history. We have to come back. Diversity was an excelent choice.Written October 11, 2018

Worst experience in Portugal. You have to queue for min 30 min and no one tells you how long it will last, while people are skipping the queue. Then the visit is just one long queue. We had booked our tickets in advance to be sure it would be a nice moment, we will not come back or recommend to friends.

Beautiful Place! The vivid colors, the blending of architectural styles and the various details on the walls and furnishings make this palace a very luxurious and exquisite monument. If I ever return to Portugal I would like to visit again

Overpriced & shambolic queuing for bus to take us to palace. Despite brochure stating bus 434 from station you gave to get 2 buses at a cost of 34 euros for 5 people. Queue for bus to palace took well over 1 hour. Bus trip long & slow due to traffic. Not worth it. Would advise you visit Monserrate instead- less busy & gardens prettier. Suggestion - if you want to avoid long queue for bus back, exit palace gardens by duck pond lakes. It is only 3 min walk to bus stop you get get on here othetwise you will queue for 2 hours at the palace. Also by walking up the left hand side of the queue you can look at palace ramparts for free. Queues to get into palace were looking as tho they would take 3 hours.

Visited this intriguing Capuchin Franciscan convent and struck by its stark simplicity and tiny spacing. Garden most conducive to meditation.

Nice palace with a magnificent view despite the overcast weather. It is possible to access it very easily by bus from Sintra station.
