    Private tour
Because of covid 19 situation I was alone at this tour and I loved it. Nuno the guide was very good, shared lots of information with me, and it didn't felt like just another tour. The tram 28 ride was fun but too short.

Excellent and informative. Really enjoyed it! Saw streets you couldn't normally see on another type of tour. Guide was a history expert so learned a lot!

    Monotone and boring guide
We had nuno as our guide. He continued talking and talking with no attention to the group whatsoever.. we were all bored and sick of him talking as if he was reading off a history book. No humor no personality. The tour is way too long specially for summer. It was so hot and we were constantly going uphill. Nuno didn’t care to give his speech under shade, he would just stand anywhere. A girl pointed this out and said we were literally under the hot sun and should move under the shade just a few feet away. To which Nuno said oh we’ll just go in a bit it’s not much left... he simply didn’t respect or care. By the end some people just left early telling Nuno they couldn’t stand the sun anymore. There’s also no break for lunch etc. Just constant waking and lectures by Nuno. The only good thing was that the places and views he took us to were truly breathtaking and only a local person would know them.

    "Lisbon from the other side"
We booked a private tour for two people, to fit in with our schedule. The booking process was straightforward and communications were excellent. With hindsight, we should have arranged a meeting point closer to the cruise terminal. We met our guide at 9.00 am in Praça Luís de Camões and walked down to the ferry terminal for the crossing to Cacilhas, where we caught the bus to Christo Rei. Our guide gave us plenty of time to go to the top of the statue (entry fee not included in the tour) and admire the views. Following a walk through Almada, the plan was to use the Boca do Vento Elevator but it was closed, so we descended to the waterfront on foot. We then walked back to the ferry terminal for the return across the River Tagus (Rio Tejo); we would recommend sensible walking shoes as some of the ground was uneven. Throughout the tour our guide gave us lots of information, answered our questions and was very knowledgeable and helpful. On our return to Lisbon he directed us to the Time Out Food Market where we were able to purchase pastéis de nata and coffee, before returning to our ship in a tuk tuk. We would highly recommend Lisbon-Spirit and would be happy to use this company again on our next visit to the city.

    Good informative tour
We did this tour with our 18 year old son. Nuno imparted his extensive knowledge of Lisbon and we went to areas we quite possibly wouldn't have ventured ourselves. I feel we know more about this amazing city and would definately be enticed back. You need to be fairly fit for this trip lots of walking in the height of the sunshine, i don't think its ideal for kids unless they love history. Excellent value for money.

    Walking tour of Lisbon
Booked the tour online, information we received was accurate and our guide (Nuno) was there to meet us as agreed. There was two other families in the tour, Nuno started by giving us a brief geographical background to Lisbon before we set off on a tram, we then made our way back on foot to where we began, with Nuno talking us through the history of the districts and monuments. The tour lasted 4 hours, Nuno is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Thoroughly recommend the tour.

Great walking tour with Nuno in Lisbon
Being in Lisbon for a few days before going on a cruise , I booked a private tour with Lisbon Sprit . To our big surprise we were the only two on the tour while you see so many " free walking tours " with 30 or more people in tow this was fantastic . Nuno has great knowledge of the history and gave us a great tour through the old town to a couple of districts . We would have never found the easier ways that Nuno showed us to go up the hills in Lisbon which can be quite steep and long walks . We can really recommend Lisbon Spirit Walking tours we saw so many beautiful corners of the city and our guide was great !

Highlight of our delightful days in Lisbon - Insider's Guide
When visiting Lisbon last week my husband and I were so lucky to take two walking tours with Lisbon Spirit. Walking tours are the perfect way to see this city filled with delights and surprises, and these Lisbon Spirit tours, given by the kindest, smartest, knowledgeable guide, were an excellent way to see and experience Lisboa. The only thing I would change would be to take a Lisbon Spirit Walking Tour every day! We saw and learned so much about this beautiful city. Nuno was a fabulous guide sharing his vast knowledge of all aspects of Lisbon history. (There are many fun tour topic options offered during the week, morning and afternoon.) We would love to return to Lisbon - to wander the maze of limestone streets, discover more places of beauty, eat more amazing cuisine and definitely spend more time on Lisbon Spirit Walking tours. Thank you, Nuno!

    Fun tour
Fun way to see parts of old Lisbon. This was a good way to get to ride Tram 28 and get up some of the hills. Our guide provided interesting points of history along our walk.

    It’s all about the Guide
I would recommend this tour. Maybe with younger children, a four hour trek in a hot August afternoon is a bit much, but that is not the fault of the tour, more for the parents to allow for. It is only a 4-5km walk in total, after all. I learnt that Lisbon has an amazing history and is a beautiful city. But the depth of knowledge and information from Nuno, our guide, is what adds the extra quality to such a tour.
