Absorb the famous Monument of the Discoveries, a tribute to the expeditions of Vasco de Gama to the Americas. Enjoy the coastal ride from Belém and pass the historic Commerce Square and the Sé de Lisboa cathedral, both of which were rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755. Not a ton of detail, but the tour guide was a polyglot and was speaking to so many. We did get to see pretty much all the hotspots. Reasonably priced and done by 1pm. Sometimes felt a bit rushed, but it was okay. Went on a Sunday, so crowds not too bad.
