Wonderful tour catered to our family - 2 parents, 2 grandparents and a 7 and 8 year old. Our guide was excellent and fun. She made the tour interesting and personal - engaging the children the entire way. Highly recommend if you'd like to get the most of an afternoon in Lisbon. We were only staying 2 days and this was an absolute highlight.

Julia is probably the best tour guide we’ve ever had in any location, she was extremely knowledgeable, fun, easy going, and kept our 11 and 7 year olds as engaged as us, the parents! I cannot recommend this tour enough, and Julia in particular as a absolute 5-star guide.

We did two Little Lisbon tours, one was the family tour and the other was the food tour. Both tours were excellent and the grand kids (8 and 6) really enjoyed it along with parents and grandkids. The two guides were entertaining, they knew their stuff, imparted knowledge freely and provided unexpected challenges for the kids who were enthralled by the experiences.

We had the best tour with Miguel! It was so nice to be with a guide who could talk about the history of the city in engaging, age appropriate ways! He was knowledgable and totally understanding of our 5 and 7 year old. We loved the scavenger hunt to find the different tiles throughout the city and the smell test of the different spices and plants that various settlers brought to Lisbon. Such a fun way to learn about the rich history of the city.

We all loved our tour with Little Lisbon - grown ups and the kids!! It’s so great to have a local show you around and help you to spot the details and the stories behind them. Great activities for the kids (ours were 8. 10 and 12), thoughtful route with rest stops for the kids (and adults) and fun surprises / activities along the way. We will be recommending this to all our friends.

Lovely tour with Julia. Learned lots and was a great way to get our bearings on our first day in Lisbon. We enjoyed the trip on the tram and the custard tart. Our daughter was a little bored at times, I was expecting it to be a little more child focussed but we did enjoy the second challenge finding our way around Barrio Alto.

We took the Sea Heroes of Belém tour with Julia and had a fun time despite the rain and wind. Julia made the tour informative and fun, and adapted to our kids' age & personality. The highlight of course was the mini-tour of the pasteis de Belém bakery complete with tasting. I absolutely recommend having Julia as a tour guide, she was friendly and genuine, and the 3 hours flew by.

Marianna was a very good guide and was super patient with our kids. She knew so much history about the destinations we visited in Sintra and she was a terrific navigator for our family. My kids still talk about Initiation Well and the story she told us about the kings brother who was locked in a room for 9 years! Her passion for Portugal is very evident in the stories and knowledge she shared.

We did the essential Lisbon tour with Julia with our 8 & 10 year old kids and another family. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. We learned so much and the kids had a blast. I would book it again in a heartbeat!

This was a fantastic way to see historic parts of Lisbon. Mariana was wonderful. She explained things in a very age appropriate way for the kids (9 and 11) and even had age appropriate activities for them. We all learned a lot and appreciated so much about Lisbon as a result of the tour. Highly recommended.

We took the Treasures of Enchanting Lisbon tour (kids 9 and 5) with Marianna and then the Genuine Lisbon (cousins 3 and 7 along with grand parents joined!) with Julia. Both guides were fantastic and so patient with our kids. The tours did not overlap so we got to see different parts of the city. They pointed out places and details we would have missed if exploring on our own. They had scavenger hunts for the kids, which were thoroughly enjoyed! The younger ones got tired on the Genuine Lisbon tour with the hilly walk, but Julia made sure we slowed down and took breaks when needed. I would absolutely do these tours again!

Mariana gave us a wonderful tour of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama as part of the Genuine Lisbon tour. Our young children (ages 8, 5, and 2) loved her explanations, enthusiasm and activities. They really enjoyed the tile hunt, scent guessing and scavenger hunt. We all learned something. Would definitely do another Little Lisbon tour on a future trip to Lisbon.

Mariana was absolutely fantastic! We just took the Sea Hero’s of Belem tour. I was worried about my kids making it the full time, and they were completely engaged. And the adults enjoyed it just as much. She was knowledgeable, kind, patient and a wonderful tour kind. Probably the best tour I’ve taken!

Our family loved our “Genuine” Lisbon tour. Mariana, a Lisbon native and our guide, made the content enjoyable for our twelve-year old tween and for us. Unlike many traditional tours for adults where the tour guide does mostly talking and explaining, Little Lisbon tours encourage active participation by integrating all the senses, sight, sound, touch, and smell. We learned so much history in such a fun interactive way! I highly recommend Little Lisbon tours for families.

From the very first email with Mariana, our experience with Little Lisbon was phenomenal. We booked the Genuine Lisbon tour for our small family of 3 and also had Little Lisbon help with booking a sunset sailing tour with a third party tour company. Both tours were amazing and took the stress out of planning things independently. The walking tour was one of our favorite highlights of our week in Lisbon! We learned so much and Mariana was so engaging and fun to spend a few hours with. Our daughter loved pointing out things she had learned on that first day during the rest of our trip. We especially loved the scavenger hunt at the end of the walking tour and the little “prizes” at the end.
