Lisbon Wine Tasting Private Tour of the Setubal Region
From $93.03
Overview
Discover Setubal wines and liqueur on a full-day, private tasting tour from Lisbon to Azeitao, where you’ll visit a pair of renowned wine cellars and sample liqueur from a centuries-old recipes. All tastings of wine, local cheese, and sweets are included on this tour, and exploring with a private guide ensures time to ask questions, take in the landscape, and enjoy a day at your own pace.
What to Expect
Meet a guide at your hotel or cruise ship in Lisbon and then leave the city behind as you travel into the scenic Setubal region, enjoying views of Arrabida Natural Park and the coastal mountains along the way.

Make the first stop of the day at José Maria da Fonseca wine cellars, where you’ll learn the history of the celebrated vineyard as you taste a range of their wines. Next, continue to Quinta de Alcube, a family-owned wine cellar that uses traditional techniques to produce just 66,043 gallons (250,000 liters) of wine each year.

The third and final tasting stop is at Lima Fortuna, a family-owned cellar that creates cheeses and distinctive sweets, as well as liqueur made from a 450-year-old recipe. Following a day of Setubal food and wine, begin the return trip to Lisbon where this tour concludes.
