Exceptional tour! A two hour walking tour in the heart of Lisbon. Pedro was extremely knowledgeable and fun. He accommodated us at every turn and never hurried us. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable as we explored Lisbon. He took us into areas we would never found on our own. Once we got to the wine tasting it was fabulous. The different kinds of olive oils from local regions with fresh bread was delightful and then experiencing five different local varieties of wine ended our night on a high note. Totally recommend and ask for Pedro he is a natural and excels at his job.

Did a 3 hour walking tour with Leo, who was extremely informing, interesting and fun. The tour provided us with good historical information along with some interesting details of the places we saw and the people who passed through over the ages. We highly recommend this tour.

I would highly recommend this tour. Elsa was the best tour guide! She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We felt as if we were old friends by the end of the tour. We learned a lot about the city, and she took us to some places we never would have seen on our own. The wine and food tasting was memorable. The charcuterie board was amazing, and the wines were delicious. A very enjoyable experience.

This was an awesome way to spend time in Lisbon. Exploring the city and then having an awesome experience tasting Port. Learning about Lisbon's history was a highlight of the trip for us.

Four of us went on an all-day driving/walking tour of Lisbon, Portugal with Elsa as our guide and Rui as our driver. As a native of Lisbon, Elsa was so knowledgeable about the city, from one end to another, and took us places we probably never would have gone otherwise. Rui drove through the narrow cobble streets of Lisbon with the precision of someone who knew exactly what he was doing. Together they made the tour fun and enjoyable and the hours flew by. It could not have been better and we so appreciate all Bothe Elsa and Rui did to make the tour amazing. We feel like we ended with two new friends!

Our private tour guide, Elsa, was unbelievably knowledgeable and made the experience incredible. We tour with her on two separate days and there was a great sense of camaraderie. Visits included Sintra and Cascais on one day and Obidos, Nazare, and Fatima on another. We would have only learned a mere fraction of the information if we went on our own -- Elsa always had so much more useful, interesting, and valuable to add. Could not recommend this company (and Elsa in particular!) any more strongly!

We booked this tour after another friend recommended we do so. My husband and I did a private tour with Your Friend in Lisbon after getting in on the red eye for our Portuguese honeymoon. Adriana walked us around the city, including a stop for a ginja to kick us off. After the walking tour we had our tasting. The tasting started with three olive oils, and then moved onto wines, meats and cheeses. This was one of the most beautiful and delicious charcuterie boards we have ever seen. In addition to the great tour and tasting, it was so great to start our trip being able to just chat with a local. Adriana was able to teach us about the history and food of Portugal, but also chatted with us about recommendations on where to visit, some lessons in the Portuguese language, and just general things we should know. It really felt like we were just hanging out with our new friend and were so grateful to kick off our trip this way.

It was a day trip from Lisbon to Bengali Caves in Algarve then back to Lisbon. It was a first class experience with both knowledgeable and caring people from my friends in Lisbon. The time flew by each way in the car and boat and the Caves were phenomenal. The water and the light were stunning. We saw a pod of dolphins in the sea and our skipper followed them so we could all see the dolphins. Elsa was a terrific tour guide with Alex as the driver. We all had a wonderful Portuguese lunch with grilled sea bass at local restaurant. It was a 10 out 10 experience. Thank you.

We used this company twice and had outstanding experiences both times. We arrived in Lisbon after a cruise and Alex met us at our hotel for a wonderful 3 hour walking tour of the city. Alex was fun and informative and took us to interesting nooks and crannies of the city; it was a great way to get to know Lisbon. We ended at a small restaurant where we were met by our private sommelier Adriana. We were set to taste 5 wines and after discussing things with her, we tried 2 wines and 3 ports. It was so much fun and she was so informative. We started with olive oil tasting and then had the most delicious charcuterie board. After this, Alex took us for traditional Portuguese pastries. After a day by ourselves, Elsa picked us up at our hotel for an exursion to Sintra and Cascais. We had a private Mercedes van and driver, who was delightful. Elsa was fun, energetic and full of great information. We visited the Pena Palace which was breathtaking and then went to Sintra, a beautiful hillside village, where we shopped and ate local pastries. We then headed to the sea for a delicious lunch and then drove down the coast back to Lisbon, stopping at the Caves of Hell and the lovely town of Cascais. It was an extraordinary day.

It was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Pedro, who was exceptionally knowledgeable on Portuguese history, so personable and friendly. We had this tour on the last day of our 9-day trip through Portugal, so we were able to talk with Pedro about all the information we have collected so far, connect all the dots, and get all of our unanswered questions covered. It felt like a lovely afternoon spent with the company of a good friend. Both parts of the tour - the sightseeing and the port wine tasting (with tapas!) - were equally great! We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a great experience in the beautiful city of Lisbon!

Absolutely amazing! An all round top quality tour. An exceptional guide with an amazing knowledge of the city but also super friendly, personable and professional. The port wine tasting and tapas at the end of the tour was a perfect way to round off a brilliant 4 hour tour of this beautiful city.

We had a fabulous tour with Sofia. It was a great way to spend our first afternoon in Lisbon. We had a nice walk around the nearby neighborhoods and learned some of the history of Lisbon. She showed us places to go and a few to avoid plus shortcuts to get around. We finished up with a fabulous tasting of Portuguese wines and the largest most amazing charcuterie board I have ever seen. They even had gluten free bread for me . I highly recommend this tour as well as Sofia!!

Elsa is the perfect tour guide. She is so knowledgeable about the history and gastronomy of Portugal - and fun and interesting. We made so many stops for food and wine and she explained each and she knows the best place. At the end of the tour she helped us buy our transportation cards for the next day. She is a real gem.
