We did the Sintra Day tour and it was great. Our guide was wonderful, and highly knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

Our fantastic guide Vasco picked us up from the airport and whisked us off to Belem and Jeronimos Monastery to start the day! He was very helpful and informative (the information he shared at each stop and along the way was fascinating). As we continued our day, we were so grateful to have invested in a private tour - what a way to see the city!

Our guide was not very good. He seemed preoccupied with something else the entire time. Not that knowledgeable about Fátima.

We used Portugal Magik for two full private touring days in the Lisbon area with Francisco Canas as our guide. On day one, we did the Lisbon Historical + Jewish Highlights + Belem tour and on day two we did the Sintra tour. The Lisbon Historical (etc.) tour gave us a close up overview of the various neighborhoods in the city. Francisco was terrific at tailoring the tour to our needs and desires (we enjoyed the heavy emphasis on walking in certain areas as we requested) and was terrific at explaining the history of the city and its key sights. We particularly enjoyed stopping at local places for snacks, drinks and meals which gave us a great feel for life in Lisbon. The Sintra tour was also outstanding. Rainy weather made things somewhat of a challenge, but Francisco handled it well. As we did on day one, we got to stop at some local establishments for snacks and meals which we really enjoyed. We recommend that you ask specifically for Francisco Canas. He is local to the Lisbon area, speaks perfect English, is very knowledgeable about the city and its history and is very easy to converse with over the couple of days. He made our touring in Lisbon and Sintra a special treat.

We were picked up at the end of our cruise by Vasco for our day-long tour. He was on-time and solicitous with our luggage which he stowed and camouflaged under blankets. After that, it was all systems go! We got so much out of our tour, which started when we left the port and ended about 9 hours later at the hotel. Vasco was extremely knowledgeable about his country's history and geography and explained it all very well in perfect English. Highlights of the tour were, of course Sintra and Cascais, where we were treated to a delicious lunch in a local market. The coastline there is amazing and we did get to visit the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Vasco gave us a comprehensive description of the country's cork industry and took us to a different market where we were able to fill up on cork souvenirs. All in all, an amazing day with a wonderful guide. Highly recommend

We spend 10 amazing days and 4 private tours in Portugal with Portugal Magik tours and this tour company is hands down the way to go…as their tour guides are, no doubt, the best in the business. We’ve travelled the world and have never had such an experience as we had with Joao (John) and Francisco. 1) Our first tour, which was a private tour of Lisbon, began when we arrived at 6am. Our airbnb’s checkin was at 3pm so this was a perfect way to get our bearings (and acclimate to a new time zone!) John took us to the best sights to see the sunrise, drove us to all the great parts of the city, selected great places for breakfast and lunch, and had us to our apartment in time for checkin. The vehicles are all new Mercedes btw, and very comfortable to say the least. John couldn’t have been more knowledgeable or personable. Truly a perfect way to start our stay in Lisbon. 2). Our second tour was the Golden triangle tour with John as our tour guide. His knowledge of Sintra, Cascais and Cabo were amazing. He made everything interesting and customized his delivery to our speed and areas of interest. A perfect day! 3). We transferred to Porto with John as our guide, and made numerous stops at beautiful cities on the way. Sure…trains are great here… but this is on an other level as John stopped whenever and wherever we wanted and explained everything about where we were. Btw….trains are sometimes on strike here so check this out before committing to the trains. 4). We transferred again back to Lisbon for our return flight with Francisco as our guide. Like John, he picked us up promptly at our apartment and took us to numerous cities on the way back to Lisbon. Francisco was extremely knowledgeable and wonderful my personable. Arrived to the airport safe and sound on time and couldn’t have had a better last day! All in all both John and Francisco were the best tour guides we’ve ever had. They customize their delivery to your needs and have an encyclopedic knowledge of everything in Portugal. They also speak perfect English by the way. Lot’s of choices out there, but in our experience, you can’t go wrong with John and Francisco with Magik tours. They made all the difference.

We had the most wonderful experience with two private tours! Our first was a private pickup from the airport and a tour of Lisbon on the day we arrived. Miguel Safara was our driver/guide and he was exceptional! We were also lucky enough to have Miguel on our second private tour of Sintra and Pena Palace! Portugal Majik tours provided the most informative and responsive customer service during the months leading up to our trip. I would 100% recommend them for anyone's visit to Portugal!

My husband and I were in Portugal for a few days for our honeymoon and he decided to book this tour so we could make the most of the short time we were there. I started the day very tired from a lot of traveling but my energy and mood immediately lifted due to our amazing guide Diogo. He picked us up right on time- actually he was early and waiting outside our hotel in Lisbon. We started the day at Pena Palace and despite how packed it was, he expertly navigated the crowds so we weren’t stuck in long queues and able to soak in the beauty and history of the palace at a comfortable pace. Diogo was extremely professional and knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. He gave us amazing recommendations for pastries in the town square and when we asked for a suggestion for lunch and he took us to the most breathtaking restaurant overlooking a cliffside beach that was the highlight of my honeymoon. He was so in tune with our energy and took us to a less crowded and peaceful location after lunch - Convento Dos Capuchos. I can’t put into words how healing that part of the tour felt for me. I have a bad knee and so the whole itinerary was perfect for me. I cannot stress how much we laughed and thoroughly enjoyed this tour because of Diogo. It felt like traveling with a longtime friend and I will recommend this tour and Diogo to anyone that wants to visit Portugal. We left with a deeper love and respect for Portugal and its vast history, cuisine, and wonderful people. Thank you for riveting conversations, and facilitating the best part of our honeymoon!

Victor was absolutely the best tour guide we have ever had. He told us a lot of historical facts and was a fantastic storyteller. He took us to beautiful sites and we enjoyed our time so much. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

It was an amazing tour such beautiful no places. Our Tour guide Rui was very professional, friendly, kind , very knowledgeable. He suggested a great seafood restaurant in Cascais that we all loved. Everything was planned perfectly. This company is great from beginning off booking to the very end of the tour.

This was a fabulous tour. Andre was very knowledgeable about all of Lisbon and kept my teenagers entertained. I was fascinated by all the history. Andre also took some fabulous pictures. The vehicle was immaculately clean and Andre was a safe driver. I would not hesitate to book with Portugal Magik again.

This was our second experience with Portugal Magik. Miguel provided us an unparalleled opportunity to explore Seville, Spain from its ancient ruins to modern metropolis. Our drive from Cascais to Seville was well planned. We stopped at a local restaurant at Algarve and filled our stomach with delicious fresh seafood. As a matter of fact, our stomach was always full of delicious culinary cuisines. Our road trip took us to places such as: Alcazar of Seville Royal Palace & Cathedral, Ronda, Setenil and Gruta de las Maravillas. It’s hard to say which excursion we like the most, they were all great, with the exception of the Gruta. La Gruta de la Maravillas is a network of limestone caverns. This natural underground caverns lays under a medieval castle and cathedral which makes it much more intriguing. In the end, Miguel curated our 12 days vacation impeccably well that my family greatly appreciate his hard work. We came back to America feeling rested and more knowledgeable before the trip. Our tour of Lisbon’s City Highlights was wonderful. We were a family of 7 ( with 2 teenagers) and everyone enjoyed the many beautiful and historic places that we were taken to. Our tour guide, Victor, was knowledgeable, very personable and funny! He was sensitive to our individual needs and very accommodating to our requests. Would highly recommend this tour.
