We are a family of 4 with 2 young teens. This is the first time in Lisbon and going on bike with side car was the best way to take all of this beautiful city in! They journey was surprisingly smooth, and comfortable, and we felt safe the whole time in the hands of our riders and guides Louise and George. Both gentlemen kept the experience exciting, packed with interesting stories relevant to us and our teens. And it’s obvious the constant flow of positive energy from these gentlemen came from pure passion in showing the best of Lisbon (Portugal) to us. In addition, the entire experience from the onset of my booking online with Daniel (owner) was great. He engaged me via WhatsApp, sending me reminders and weather updates and was very responsive throughout. Kudos to Daniel, Louise and George. This was by far the best way to experience and orientate to Lisbon. My husband and I are from NY and had never been to Portugal before; we finished the two hour tour confidently informed thanks to this thoughtful and charming experience with Daniel. He provided so much history and highlights of magical Lisbon and expertly embodied what makes Portugal so very special. The best money spent. Wish I did it on my first day in Lisbon. Daniel drove me around Lisbon and we covered about 40 kilometres. We stopped at imported sites where Daniel explained the significance of the site and the history. I highly recommend the tour. Book in on the first day in Lisbon.

My friends and I packed into Daniel’s Jeep and began the tour with an exhilarating ride across the 25 de Abril Bridge. That alone was worth it. We also saw a variety of spots we would never have found on our own including an abandoned military base and family-run vineyard. Daniel was very knowledgeable and chill. If you’re looking for a unique tour, book this.

A stunning coastal trip towards Sintra stopping off to experience the unique and wild beauty of Cabo da Roca & just before arriving at Sintra a visit to the Capuchos Monastery. Our driver went out of his way to make our day really special. He even helped us locate a secluded restaurant on the beach where we enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch!

We visited Lisbon but had only 3 days. Daniel gave us a historic tour and a lay of the land on the side bikes. It was informational, fun, easy and comfortable getting around. Loved every minute of it and so did our teen aged daughters. We decided to follow up for an open jeep tour to Sintra. We thought a day long tour would be too much but we went for a it anyway and had no regrets. Again, similar experiences. Learned a lot and enjoyed our talks. Sintra is magical. We stopped to eat and at various great picture spots. It truly made our visit to Portugal unique and I truly recommend it!! It’s also a great town, fresh food, nice people, and inexpensive. You can’t go wrong. We will definitely be back and will definitely contact Daniel as well.

Sept. 2018 I visited Portugal. I was so excited to take the sidecar tour with Daniel but unfortunately due to protest and road blocks the day of my tour we had to change the sidecar tour to the Vespa tour. I was disappointed; however, riding around Lisbon on a Vespa was awesome. Daniel was a great tour guide. I was able to see so much and hear so much about Lisbon. Very safe too. I highly recommend taking a tour with Daniel. Note: TripAdvisor did not inched the month/year of my trip; hence, the discrepancy in travel date.

This was a fantastic was to do a whistlestop tour of Lisbon taking in all the main sights, with a really informed and professional guide. The motorbike and sidecar was great fun and a novel way to see the city highly recommended.

Doing a city tour with Bike my side was a recommendation from our friends living near Lisbon. It was a great start to getting to know the city and its surroundings. We always felt safe with Daniel navigating Lisbon traffic professionally and prudently. Daniel (the owner and driver) was very responsive to all our questions and wishes, plus he has a broad knowledge about his beloved city and what’s going on where, so you gain lots of very good insights. A really cool and extraordinary experience that we always love to remember 🤩

I am so glad we decided to tour Lisbon by night with Daniel & Jorgel! That set the tone for our visit to Lisbon. Daniel recommended we take the bike ride on the day we arrived. We started at 7pm and finished at 11pm! Daniel and Jorge were well versed with the history of Lisbon through out our ride and showed us every significant facet of Lisbon! Daniel had extra coats and blankets for us as it was quite chilly in the night. He took us to the old neighbourhoods as well as the newer developments like the LX Factory. The kids enjoyed sitting in the side car with helmets and strangers gawking at us wherever we went. We finished the tour eating Pastel de Nata from the Pasties de Belem! By the time our tour ended we knew everything about Lisbon and had seen all the areas of this magnificent city! I would highly recommend a tour of Lisbon with Daniel & Jorge!

Had a fantastic time with Daniel and Luis. They took me, husband, 2 x 20 yr old sons on an informative and exciting tour. I felt we saw all the city - fantastic introduction to Lisbon. We got to see highlights, places to return to and ended eating nata - perfect. I'm not a very adventurous person but I felt perfectly safe on the back of the bike. My son and I swapped between pillion and sidecar on the various stops. Daniel gave such an interesting insight into Lisbon, it's culture and history. He and Luis were considerate of our pasty parlour and made sure we were in the shade. They took photos for us so we have some of our best group family shots for years. LOVED IT!
