This was so great. I was a single woman traveling alone and wanted to take a day trip outside Lisbon. I walked from my hotel to the meeting place which was in front of Hard Rock (you cant miss it) and was put into a...More
This guided tour begins in central Lisbon. Greet your guide and board an air-conditioned minivan destined for Sintra. Your first stop is Pena National Palace, where you can explore the neighboring Pena Park and take a guided tour of the colorful palace.
After ample time to photograph the UNESCO World Heritage Site, take advantage of free time to wander the historic center of Sintra and purchase lunch (own expense). Once you’ve reconvened with your guide, return to the coach and travel past Quinta da Regaleira and the Palace of Monserrate.
Stop at the cliffside lookout point of Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point, and pay a brief visit the Hell’s Mouth (Boca da Inferno) and Cascais, a charming seaside resort. Here you can enjoy some time to stroll along the beach.
Your tour concludes at your original departure point in Lisbon.
