On the tour you visit lots of places and get a real feel for the island. Terceira is a beautiful island. Our guide was Nuno, he was great! The jeep can take you places a van or bus can’t travel. It was a great tour. I would suggest it yo anyone.

Definitely recommend! Rui (our guide) was great. Knowledgeable about the all the sites we explored and also so interesting to learn about traditions and culture of the island from him. We were only on Terceira for a short time during a layover so this worked well for us to be able to explore as much as we could in a short timespan. We hope to visit again.

Our driver, Francisco, was there to greet us when we arrived at Terceira airport. He was friendly and informative on our drive to the hotel and showed enthusiasm for the island. Terceira Island Full Day Tour, organized by Spot Tourism Activities, is a pleasant experience. Our guide, Abel, is very insightful and provides information about nature and cultural activities on Terceira Island. The program is entirely fulfilled in a professional but also relaxed way. Our guide also picked up a cozy local restaurant where we had a nice fish meal.

Beautiful island. Loved the cows. Cows everywhere! Stepping back into a much quieter but lovely place. Bus driver took us thru some very tight roads.

A great tour of Angra, led by Rui Mendes who was a truly excellent guide. He knew so much of local and national history and culture. He was personable, funny and very easy to talk to and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. His English was also excellent.

Our SPOTTOURS guide Pedro Silva collected our 5-person group at the airport, squired us around Terceira for 4.5 days, then delivered us to the airport for our return flights to Toronto. Pedro was always on time, never rushed us, lost sleep, I'm sure, with our late dinners, switched activities without a hitch when necessary, was always in good humour (not easy with my sense of humour) and overall showed us a great time!

Incredible tour of the island of Terceira! Breathtaking walk inside a volcano, many beautiful vantage points around the island, and even got to try some local cheeses where they are produced. The guide was very knowledgeable and took us inside the amazing theatre and the interesting City Hall. She talked about living in Terceira. Highly recommend.

Ricardo was our driver and guide and he was outstanding! We got way more than our money's worth with him. He took us to the caves, lava tube, and steam vents as well as Duck Lake. The scenery on the way to and from was fantastic too. You really need to see the lava tube and Duck Lake if you are on the island. They were so memorable. Ricardo was super friendly with pleasant conversation and very informative about the island and its history. He is also a firefighter so my husband enjoyed talking to him about that. He was a safe driver and picked us up right at the cruise ship with a sign on his car. We really had the perfect introduction to Terceria and look forward to going back because of him and his beautiful island.

Our tour guide, Rui, did a great job explaining the history and culture of the city. He was very knowledgeable and thoroughly answered all of our questions. He set a perfect pace for us on this walking tour. We saw historic buildings, a local market, famous statues, art, churches. He described local customs and entertainment. We ended the tour with a much better appreciation for the city and its people. Thank you, Rui!

We had a great daylong tour with Catarina. We did a comprehensive circle of the island with numerous great stops. The bus got into some pretty tight locations to. Catarina was knowledgeable and very passionate about the island.
