Hi! Goncalo was the very best. He arrived on time and was so accommodating. He rolled with our quirky personalities and even battered with us. His english was perfect and he was so knowledgeable. Such a fun day and we were all so happy we chose this on our 1 full day in Ponta Delgado.

Our guide Luis was incredible - knowledgeable, friendly, kind and took us to the best spots. He truly took the time to find out our wants for the day to cater the tour and give us the best experience! He even gave us tips for the rest of our trip!

We had an absolutely amazing day with Margarita we had a full day tour she was an outstanding tour guide she will bring you anywhere you want to go and there are so many beautiful sites to visit, do not look any further this tour will be the highlight of your trip!!

Views were amazing. Tour guide Gonzalez spoke very good English, was excellent and took us off the the main paths for a customized tour of the area. Highly recommend. My daughter was sick and he was very helpful.

We had a fabulous experience on our private tour yesterday. Our guide Margarita was fantastic. It was the best private tour had on any travel vacation. She was warm and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the island the people of the island, the terrain, and any other questions that we had, she went above and beyond in every aspect that I would expect from a travel guide. I highly recommend this company and I’m sure all their guides are equally great but if you can get Margarita , you’re in for a real treat.

Our family, group of 12 people ranging from 1 year old to 74 years old, went on a Half-Day Jeep Tour from Ponta Delgada - Lagoa do Fogo today. We had an amazing time. The ride was very comfortable, the tour guides were all top notch! They were very friendly, kind, and super informative. We had several different abilities (infants to people with joint problems) and they accommodated for everyone so they could experience all aspects of this tour! We were able to access parts of the island that we would have never been able to experience! We would recommend them 100%!

We had an amazing time! Our guide Margarita was incredible! They even customized the tour just for us. We hiked and toured the gorgeous Sete Cidades, ate incredible lunch at Lagoa Azul, and swam at the other worldly thermal pools along the coast. I definitely recommend!

We cannot say enough great things about Delfin and his company. He is a tremendous tour guide with a clear love for his craft (and it shows!). He catered the trip towards what we wanted to do and brought us to an unbelievably delicious restaurant for a very memorable meal and dessert! My wife and I were able to see so much of the West side of Sao Miguel (and learn even more about the history) in just one day thanks to the wonderfully crafted itinerary from Delfin. We will definitely be using T4W in our next trip to Azores.

This was a great trip. Despite the bad rainy weather we got to see lots of beautiful sites. Our guide, Mariano, was super nice and informative. We really enjoyed tour. The only negative about the tour was that the Jeep was very old and the AC did not work properly. Since it was not a warm day, it was fine. But it would’ve been uncomfortable on a hot day. Even though it was a full day tour, I wish we had more time to explore. It’s such a beautiful island. We had a flight to catch at night so we needed to be back to Ponta Delgada by 5:30. If you’re planning to visit Sao Miguel, give yourself at least 5 days. This way you get to see all the beautiful sites and can account for bad weather on some days too. Who would’ve thought that we would get three back to back days of rain and fog in the middle of July! We couldn’t see any of the high elevation sites because of heavy fog, which is a shame. Despite that we still got to see plenty of beautiful sites. The trip was well worth it.

Mariano was the best tour guide! We told him that we are an active family of 6 (4 teenage boys) and he created the best tour for us, based on the fact that we wanted to move around a lot and also it was a foggy/cloudy day! Highly recommend. Super friendly and flexible and gave us an amazing 8 hours. Great history of the island and background insider info on all the things we saw. Engaging for all ages.

Telmo was amazing! He gave us a wonderful tour of Sau Miguel and took us off the beaten path. Shared great informaton and history of the Azores. Was very knowledgable. We saw a lot in one day around the island.

Mariano was an incredible guide! The 8 hours went by too fast. He was so knowledgeable and personable and we loved every minute of our tour. We just wish we had more days to explore the island with him.

We had a terrific tour with Mariano. We had rented a car and driven around the island the day before, but he took us on back roads and shortcuts that we would not have known about. He also added a personal touch to the geologic and cultural history of the island. He was so kind, knowledgeable and funny. It would not have been the same without him as the guide! Through no fault of the tour company, the lake was shrouded in fog so we couldn't see it, but it was still a great tour with other sights. Would highly recommend and ask for Mariano!
