I asked a taxi to take me to Sete Cidades. It has rained everyone I had been there and it was a clear day! I was lucky to Henrique. He not only drove me there, but gave me a great tour along the way, with history of the island and area. Riding with him was better than most tours

What an amazing, full day with our great knowledgeable guide Henrique. We visited so many beautiful places and learned so much about the island. This tour has convinced me that I want to come back to the Azores with family and friends.

This tour company is not recommended for the English speaking. It was a mix of Portuguese and Americans on the tour and the tour guide narrated the half day tour almost completely in Portuguese. She spoke English maybe 10 times. The tour itself was not as described. We drove by the tea plantation, we did not stop at it for a tasting as advertised. Instead of going to the Ribiera Grande as advertised, we went to a lesser known lake which was described as being polluted with fertilizer chemicals. Not a good experience of the island.

I was at porto delgada for only an afternoon and my flight was in the morning the next day. I think it's a good activity when you dont have much time. But it cost too high for what you do. 4 to 5 stop for the same view at diffrent angles + a visit on a pinneaple plantation. The view is awsome. The pinneaple plantation is awsome too. But if you have 4 to 5 days on san miguel, just rent a car and go by yourself. Its better.

The truck is big and you sit comfortable and high. That gives you a nice view. We did the tour that goes to the fire lake. The English of the tour guide could have been better. For us there could also have been some more off road moments. Overall I would recommend it if you want to explore the isle land and don't want to drive yourself.

We've spent a half-day on this truck after whale-watching. It wasnt the best experience. Our guide spoke broken english and it seemed like she was reading from a paper. After 10 minutes you stopped listening, but she went on and on and on. It was foggy wheather, but we still stopped at the pre-determined places, where you couldnt see anything. You do get to see some places which aren't accessible by car, so that's a plus.

This is absolutely the best way to see the island of Sao Miguel! Comfortable seating high above the road and traffic so the views are uninterrupted by passing traffic. Great, informative guide and driver tell you so much about the history and daily life of the island. We saw beautiful mountains and lakes (stopping for photos) and stopped in a few small towns. Would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour in a different way. Very confortable and lots of room for you legs. Better view since we were higher than in a regular car or van. Very nice driver and guide took us on an amazing tour by incredible gravel roads. Will repeat when I go back to Azores
