Excellent tour, I recommend it to everybody of all ages, exceed my expectations, very professional, wonderful staff always ready to help

This was a good experience as we actually saw 2 whales and dolphins twice but it was choppy , the boat was full and 50 euros per person was quite expensive too especially for less than 3 hours …. but we did see the animals which was amazing to see but it was only brief

We were really happy with the overall experience. The operators were really knowledgeable about the marine life and also safety of the passengers. The only thing that was a little sad was we didn’t see any whales. We saw some packs of dolphins and they even did tricks which was a nice surprise but the overall goal of the trip was whale watching. I know you can’t control the outcome but just wish we had seen at least one. The other suggestion I have is to have some music on the boat or something to entertain when driving or waiting. It had some moments when it was a little boring. Again, very satisfied overall!

Great moderate hike - Eduardo is a fantastic guide - fun, very experienced. Waterfall was beautiful as was the wall there and back!

Sarah And Natalia were awesome skipper and tour guide. We saw many common dolphin and sperm whales. It was an amazing experience. The boat ride was also very fast and a lot of fun. Excellent driving by the skipper.

Amazing experience!!! Guide was awesome get on a zodiac boat which was a fun ride and beautiful views of coastline. We were able to jump in two times to swim near dolphins! The water is dark blue absolutely gorgeous

Very adventurous! Saw a few dozen dolphins. The crew was highly experienced and nice. But compared to doing this somewhere like Hawaii, this isn't an easy task in the Azores. You have to be quick to jump in and spot them swimming by (easier from the boat) and the seas may be rough. If you like adventure, go for it. If you're not sure, maybe just do the "watching" version on the bigger boat.

This was a long awaited for and wonderful experience. Long waited for because the scheduled date had to be changed three times....but as they say... 3 is the charm. On the day the sea was choppy to say the least but the team explained everything clearly and saw to everyone's needs. The experience was simply amazing. We were able to spot 3 different species of dolphins and one sperms whale. To have those dolphins jumping and swimming so close to the boat, was too beautiful to describe. I recommend this trip to all those who love the outdoors and love the animals. The boat trip aims to let us observe the animals but to jot invade or make the animals feel threatened in any way. A heartfelt thanks goes to the marine biologist who travelled on our boat. One could feel her passion for the subject and the love to protect and care for these animals. She was really amazing. I am only sorry I forgot her name.

The experience itself was really enjoyable and intriguing, never done something like that. Personell well prepeared and kind, with the only downside on the last part in the islet, where we weren't 100% coordinated and organized. I absolutely recommend this activity to everybody since it's really accessible.

My boyfriend and I used this company for the whale watching and swimming with dolphins tour and both were incredible thanks to the picos de aventura team. All of the members were very friendly and gave clear and informative briefings and descriptions throughout the tours. The dolphin swimming tour was especially well done as the team was very clearly respectful of the animals in the way they carried out the activity. I could not recommend this company more.

Amazing experience! We got to see both whales and dolphins. The skipper and the guide were really great.

Went Aug 30, 2023 with young kids (4,8,9). We saw 3 whales and a few packs of dolphins who also swam alongside the boat for a while. The marine biologist was excellent and made sure to get the kids to the front of the boat so they wouldn’t miss the show. We loved our trip and would recommend to large boat as we stayed mostly dry and kids could get close enough. Excellent!
