The trip around the island was interesting. Faial island is small, but it has something to show. Enchanting landscape, volcanic cones, pastures, ocean. Guide is super. I recommend everyone to visit this wonderful island. Small island - with a big heart Obrigada Ramiro!

Ramiro gives an excellent tour. Keeps the momentum going, friendly and cheerful. Works very hard to make your day the best and he did just that. You won't be disappointed. We kept trying to see Pico but the weather just would not cooperate. His van was great very comfortable.

Faial was without a doubt one of the most beautiful islands I visited in the Azores and the highlight was this tour. Our family was accompanied by Ramiro, a very experienced, friendly and knowledgeable guide who I recommend to everyone who wants to visit the island. You won't regret it!!!

Ramiro was absolutely amazing. We had the best time riding around and seeing the island. Ramiro was so knowledgeable about the area and didn’t hesitate to answer all of our questions. We had a great understanding of what it is like to reside there. It was also very nice to do it privately. Highly recommended!!

A great way to see the best of the island with limited time. Our guide Ramiro is simply the best 👍. Always courteous, he has a great sense of humor, keeps the momentum going while showing all the amazing sites around Faial Island. The highlight for us was the Caldeira. The anticipation while waiting for the clouds to clear added to the experience . We even got to see Mt Pico from the marina when the sky cleared for a few minutes. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Today, we had the great pleasure of meeting and touring the island of Faial with Ramiro of Trilhos R - Azores Tours. Some of the tours offered are weather dependent, and unfortunately, the weather this week didn't cooperate. However, Ramiro filled the day with many interesting stops and provided local information from one end of the island to the other. Amazing lookouts, wave-battered beaches, lush forests and Capelinhos (site of 1957-58 volcanic eruption). If you're visiting Faial, don't miss the opportunity to take one of these great tours.

Our guide was Ramiro, he speaks very well English and I could practice with him my Portuguese. He is a very good person and knows the Faial well, has a lot of interesting stories to tell. We were picked up at the location of our apartment, that was really nice because the day started with rain. We started our guide in time, together with 4 more people. I really liked the formal of a small group (we were just 6) and felt very comfortable in a group with great people. It was fun! During this day we explored the Faial island, the culture of people who live here and also shared some stories with each other about traveling and our experiences in Açores. I loved the capelinhos volcano - it was impressive and thanks to Ramiro for enough time to explore the location around. The great lunch is included in price. And the price is reasonable, it’s worth it 100%!

We had an amazing time on this tour! The tour guide was really friendly told interesting stories about the island, he is very kind and you can see that he really enjoys to tell about the island. After seeing some of the most beautiful sceneries I’ve ever seen we stopped for lunch. This was at a really nice restaurant where there were a buffet and drinks waiting for us. After lunch we went to see a couple of more beautiful places! It really was an amazing day! So if you are staying on faial i really recommend to book this tour, you learn so much and see a lot of amazing places!
