Full-Day Sete Cidades UTV Adventure from Ponta Delgada
From $104.10
Overview
Appreciating the Azores’ varied natural landscapes can be challenging on a tour that sticks to the main roads. Get an intimate experience of the volcanic scenery with an off-road excursion to Sete Cidades by UTV, and enjoy views of Tunel, Santiago Lake, and Muro das Nove Janelas while traversing the rugged terrain. A traditional lunch is included, and enjoy a small-group tour for a personalized experience.
What to Expect
Start your day at a centrally located meeting point in Ponta Delgada. Begin with a safety briefing, then strap on your helmet and climb into your utility task vehicle, ready to explore the natural landscape of Sete Cidades.
Follow your guide as you drive out into the country and on to the dirt roads and trails that will lead you toward Sete Cidades. Along the way, pass Pico do Carvão, Canário Lake, the Northern and Southern Ridge of Sete Cidades, Silence Bay, and many other prime examples of the region’s natural scenery.
Relax with a brief dip in Ferraria’s natural thermal pool, and stop for a traditional Azorean lunch, then continue with your buggy ride, enjoying the journey’s bumps, dips, and rugged terrain as you travel there and back again.
At the end of your thrilling adventure, conclude your original point of departure.

Full day was so worth it!

We had the BEST time in the dune buggie while exploring the sites of Sao Miguel. I highly recommend it -- off roading was much more interesting than it would have been from a bus! next time -- ATV's! Sao Miguel is beautiful!
