- jenlm0080 contributionsI’d 100% recommend this tour! This was such a fun tour! Food was so so delicious! I had one day in Lisbon and tried to see as much as possible, and this tour was perfect allowing me to try local dishes and drinks, while walking seeing the city and learning about Lisbon along the way. David was great. Very relatable and knowledgeable. He shared history and insights from a local perspective that I couldn’t have gotten from another tour. I’d 100% recommend this tour.Written January 18, 2025
- MartynLW0 contributionsGreat Tour & Wonderful Tour GuideThis tour ticked all our boxes. We were very fortunate to have Julia as our tour guide. Her English was excellent as was her knowledge of the area. Julia seemed to take us to food experiences that weren’t overwhelmed with other tourists. The communication from the company was excellent too. Thank you Julia for a special day.Written November 9, 2024

He was so knowledgeable and made all the information very interesting and had a great sense of humour. He took us to some great spots and the food and wine was delicious. We all learnt a lot. - Chris S0 contributionsGreat Vibe and ValueThe tour was relaxed, fun and informative with a very generous amount of local delicacies and beverages provided. David was welcoming, easy going and informative hitting just the right balance between historical knowledge and hidden authentic gems. He clearly had an excellent rapport with the owners of all the eating places we visited.Written October 10, 2024
- ctrotts0 contributionsA great opportunity to learn about wine!Fascinating tour of the lovely Quinta do Sanguinhal. Anna, the great granddaughter of the founder was not only very interesting about wine production but we were captivated by her enthusiasm and knowledge for the family business. The wines we tasted were varied and most enjoyable. Delicious Pastel de Nata. We were all very grateful for the blankets and T shirts following a huge cloudburst that soaked us all while inspecting the vines. Thank you Anna and we wish you much success.Written October 9, 2024
- Poppyontheroad0 contributionsExcellent ‘taste’ of LisbonWe spent a wonderful few hours with Rosanna experiencing the sights and tastes of Lisbon. She is an engaging storyteller who uses the food to enhance your understanding of Portugal’s history. The food stops were all examples of typical Portuguese food, but not necessarily things you would try on your own. The Bifanas and Pastel de nata were highlights. You don’t leave overly full, unlike other food tours, but the wine is generous and excellent. I would recommend doing this tour at the start of your visit!Written October 7, 2024
- M1354CMannd0 contributionsLisbon Food TourOur tour guide, Julia, was wonderful! She is a delightful person with so much knowledge about the history of Portugal. The food and drinks were fantastic! We had a small group and had some great conversations. Thank you!! Ann and AlanWritten September 28, 2024
- dragonvo20 contributionsA great history, food & drinks experienceBruno was so knowledgeable with his history of Lisbon & pre-Portuguese occupation. We had a great history lesson with our Food & beverage tour. Unfortunately it was raining for our tour but he came up with plan B & C to try to keep us dry + our group were troopers & made it work!! Bruno took us to places that we would not have found but also told us the history of each! Great experience with a wonderful young man!Written September 25, 2024
- A7042JFaliceb0 contributionsFun eveningWe really enjoyed our tour with Bruno. He told great stories about the history of Portugal and explained what the local students were up to! The food along the way was tasty too - especially the custard tarts which were the best we had on our trip!Written September 15, 2024
- Juanita C0 contributionsFood and FellowshipThis small group Cultural Food and Wine Walking Tour began in Rossio Square. Our delightful and informative guide was Carla G. She is a Lisbon native, informative, and interested in making this an excellent experience for all of us. There were 6 adults in our group, which allowed for pleasant conversation and easy seating at each location. Various "petiscos" were offered, including codfish cake, Bifana, local ham with quince marmalade, and St. Jorge cheese. We also had a samosa with curry chicken. Each of the food selections was accompanied by a perfect wine/beverage (fresh green wine, Super Bock beer, Port, Ginjia, and red green wine). Our final selection was a pastel de nata with espresso. Carla provided historic commentary on the food/ wine selections as well as the city and its neighborhoods. She also shared a bit about many on the shops and their owners and many other stories. One great surprise was a "side excursion" down into the M. Moniz metro entrance. Instead of turning to the metro entrance, we ambled through a type of bazaar shopping area!! This was an unexpected treat. Excellent, excellent tour.Written September 14, 2024

Beat gave us a fantastic indoor tour of Quinta dos Sentidos, explaining the winemaking and olive oil production processes. It was a very enjoyable afternoon, especially getting to taste the beautiful wines and oils they produce.
We’ll definitely return to experience the outdoor tour of the vineyard.

Had a fantastic tour on Quinta dos Sentidos, going through their production facilities and winemaking prosess in detail. The tour was a true personal experience given by the passionate winemaker David. Thank you very much, David, for an enjoyable and interesting tour. We'll stop by in the nearest future for an outdoor tour in the vineyard fields and for some more vine.

We booked this wine tasting for the last day of our holiday and paid in advance for 6 of us costing the best part of £300.
We were asked to change the time the day before and when I said we couldn’t we were told they were full and our booking was cancelled.
I now have to wait until we are home from holiday before I get the refund which means we can’t fund another activity.
Why are they not limiting ticket sales to a number that they can handle?
So disappointing
