We had a fantastic experience with Fábio! We met him in Portimao and it was a quick ride to the first winery. We have done many wine tours in the past and Fabio did a great job explaining the harvest process and background on Portuguese wines. We did the premium wine at both wineries and tapas at the first winery consisting of meat, cheeses and crackers. The second winery was another short drive at the base of the mountain with very different wines. You get to experience a wide variety of wines all very different. Then we headed up the mountain for a beautiful view but unfortunately was hazy but still beautiful. Dinner at the mountain restaurant was fantastic and felt very local with different cuisine from the seaside towns on the Algarve. My husband is gluten free and Fabio was able to help figure out what on the menu we could have. The portions were huge! Dinner included an app for both of us, wine, some meat and cheese and full entree. I think we could have had dessert as well but we were too full! Overall was a great afternoon and very much enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend Fabio and Algarve Wine Tours!

Fabio was easy to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable. We were picked up on time from our hotel in Portimao. Everything was better than described, wine tastings were very good and the meal at the Luar Da Fora Restaurant was excellent. We did not feel rushed at all and arrived back later than planned to our hotel. All in all an excellent tour

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Fabio is fantastic, and very knowledgable about wine. He looks us to two lovely vineyards. My husband and I decided to do the premium tastings (after you book, Fabio will reach out to you to see if you want this option). We really love good wine, so the upgrade was worth it to us. I highly recommend this option if you're into better wines. We also opted for the tapas. Truth be told, I would recommend you only do the tapas upgrade at your first vineyard. It's a lot of food, and you will be fed a huge meal after the vineyards. And speaking of the meal, we did the dinner trip. I am so glad we did this. We went to Luar da Fora, which is a gorgeous restaurant in the mountains. There you get to choose an appetizer, dinner and dessert, plus all you can drink beer and wine. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and everything is wonderful. I had the grilled prawns and my husband had the black pork, which they are famous for. This was the best thing we did while in the Algarves. Thank you, Fabio! We do a wine tour of almost every wine producing region that we visit, and your tour was absolutely the best tour we have ever done!

I went on this tour with a group of friends. We had the best day ever. Fabio was so informative about the wine making process. Loved going to a female owned and operated winery. And lunch beneath the 2,000 year old tree was a dream!

Fabio was a wonderful host. Everything was so well organised, from hotel pick up, 3 winery visits with lunch. My first time to get a good understanding of viticulture and wine tasting. Another couple joined us and we had a very enjoyable day. Great way to spend a day in Portimoa.

Fabio was absolutely amazing. He catered the experience to our bachelorette party. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We loved spending the day with him especially the dinner at the end. He also went out of his way to meet up and return a phone one of the girls left in the car. I highly highly highly recommend this experience and our tour guide!!!

Fabio is a true gem and expert on all things wine! Our bachelorette group of 10 enjoyed ourselves immensely and had a fantastic time learning about the 2 wineries and enjoying the wine along the way. The meal at the end was SO delicious and Fabio made us all feel very welcomed and safe. Would highly recommend for a group of any size - you wont regret it!

Fabio was a great guide and really new all about the wine production from vine to bottle. The vineyards we visited were charming and you can purchase some of your favourite choices after the tastings. The restaurant Fabio took us to at the end of the day was lovely family run place with stunning views. A great experience.

This magical experience is perfect for having fun and acquiring new knowledge about wine. The different vineyards visited were very beautiful. The visit is exclusively made up of small vineyards with a charming and authentic character. We also loved the concept of the Farmer's Table. The lunch was friendly and tasteful, and the atmosphere was full of life. Throughout our day, our guide Fábio was caring and very interesting! Me and group of 7 others did a wine tour with Fábio in Portugal, it was fantastic! They came and collected us from where we were staying in the Algarve and took us to a beautiful winery. We had a tour around the place and got to sit and try lots of different wines and hear tasting notes on each one. The location was really quite beautiful! If you're in the area you have to book and go with Fábio he is incredibly passionate about the wines and will teach you a lot! Will definitely come back again next time we are in the area, thank you :)

A fabulous way to see the beautiful hillsides of Alentejo, while learning about the local history, wineries, and their farming practices. We learned so much about the growing process, the types of grapes, and the opportunity to see the production process. Fabio is a treasure trove of the local stories and made for a wonderful day. This tour allowed us to interact with the local people, enjoy delicious food, and offer a special experience.

The day started with Fabio picking us up at our house in Farragudo. He then took us to a couple of great local vineyards. His knowledge of grape growing and the wine making process with all its complexities was outstanding. He thoroughly answered all our questions. The views from Monchique and Foia were beautiful and the lunch and views at Luar were amazing. We were also happy to learn about cork trees and the process of harvesting the bark. Fabio's wine tour was fantastic, the highlight from our time in Algarve. He is very knowledgeable, and the vineyards were lovely with amazing wines and history. Lunch up the mountain was a great experience; we had local cuisine and beautiful views, and this was otherwise somewhere we wouldn't have travelled to. Getting picked up and dropped off was very convenient, and overall it was a fabulous day that is highly recommended
