    Beautiful cruise of Lagos grottoes
    Just a wonderful ride to the rocks and grottoes of the Lagos coast. The weather gods were with us: calm seas and blue skies streaked with clouds. Captain Rui was knowledgeable and guided the boat with ease. We chose this particular cruise because we were concerned about difficulty getting on and off the boat—but no problem at all. Highly recommend this tour. And all the pictures posted here are really what you see—except that the real thing is even better!

    Captain Ron was skilled, happy, interesting and gave us a very good tour of the formations and beaches. I highly recommend this small boat tour.

    Excellent tour - no need to look further - book it with Lagos Boat Tours
    This was a fantastic experience. We took the 5:30pm boat trip to Ponta da Piedade. Rui was an amazing captain of the boat. It was pretty wavy when we went out but he controlled the boat with expertise of someone who has done this all of his life (which I'm sure he has). We went into caves that I never imagined that we would be able to go into. This is a small, local company. No need to look further - book with Lagos Boat Tours and Rui. There were many people who showed up at the meeting location for 5:30 tours. Rui was right on time, called our names, and told us which boat to go to - then we were on our way. He gave a lot of interesting information on the tour as well - for example, why one beach was known locally as 'potato beach'.

    Great tour of the grottos.
    If looking to explore with grottos off the coast of Lagos, Portugal, this was terrific. Highly recommended. Our guide spoke four languages fluently - Portuguese, Spanish, German and English. There were about a dozen of us on a moter boat, very safety and expertly operated. Lots of great photo opportunities!

    The perfect trip to the Punta de Piedad caves.
    The perfect short trip to see the caves im Lagos. Excellent guide and skipper. The boat not too small and not too big either. We saw everything st vlose quarters.

    Fantastic boat ride
    Our boat trip was better than we could’ve hoped. We saw so many hidden areas from Lagos Marina to Ponte de Piedade. Our crew had great stories and took us into the books and crannies of the caves. The small boat allowed all of that, and the crew turned the boat so all sides of the boat could get a great view. I highly recommend!

    Best Experience in Portugal!!!
    This was by far the best experience we had in our 11 day trip to Portugal - including kayak to Benagil cave. We will remember our tour to Ponta da Piedade for the rest of our lives. The caves are spectacular, water glows green in many spots, and Rui got us right into the action - but you never felt unsafe. We laughed when we listened to our videos with all of our oohs and ahs. Rui - is a second generation guide and has been doing tours for many years. He was available via email and Whatsapp for any questions. On the tour, he had great pride for Lagos and Ponta da Piedade. He was a calm narrator throughout the trip. He helped get great photos and was patient while we took lots of photos and videos. Really made this a special trip. In short, do not miss this tour!!!

    We had the best time on our 1 hour boat trip. The captains skill level entering caves with his boat, that no other tour operator was amazing. He was very informative and happy we supported a small family owned business.

    Great experience in Lagos, Ponta da Piedade
    We chose to go on a Coastal Boat tour in Lagos- Ponta da Piedade with “Lagos Boat Tour” with captain Pedro Rui. Best choice ever. We highly recommend it: good explanation in our mother tongue, friendly people and good price.

    A good captain and guide.
    Our captain greeted us warmly (you queue at the gate to the marina; - if in doubt, ask at a kiosk as everyone is really helpful). With life jackets secured, off we went, with helpful and informative commentary on the way. We were treated to some very skilful and safe boat manœuvring, and much to our captains credit, he was as skilful at knowing what not to attempt at certain tides and in certain conditions, as what to attempt. Those taking children, I would trust this Captain to be aware of the needs of your little ones. A really good experience, and I think, good value for money. There are many companies to choose from. I would go back to Lagos Boat tours with great confidence. Thanks Capt.

    Awesome boat tour!
    Amazing experience. The best views you can get with any of the boat tours. Our Captain was amazing. Very good at navigating around to the best spots in the most isolated caves. Highly recommend using this Charter!

You don’t want to miss this!
My friend and I came on this tour hoping to see a few caves. We were beyond impressed with our captain’s ability to maneuver in and out of every cave we passed! He also called out what the different rock formations looked like. Going at sunset, we did not have to wait in line to see any of the caves and we saw a beautiful sunset. I cannot recommend this tour enough! Just make sure you are dressed for after sunset as it was windy and it did cool off on our ride back to the dock.

Breath taking natural beauty with a true Lagos local
Our sunset tour along the southern coastline of Portugal on route to the infamous ponta da piedade was nothing short of amazing. Nature did it’s very best in making it a visual feast while our guide provided informative and playful commentary that made for a very enjoyable experience of which left our jaws almost permanently dropped. Rui made exception effort to tour us around all the nooks and crannies of a number of coves and grotto’s along the way of the tour while passing on a life time of knowledge about each of them and Lagos in general.

The tour was absolutely incredible! The driver was amazingly skilled in the caves and the guide knew the history of each place! They give you lots of time to watch the sunset too. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Lagos!

Amazing sites with a great guide

Absolutely wonderful!! Perfectly paced boat ride with beautiful sights. Our guide was knowledgeable and went out of his way to give us a memorable experience. We were running late because of a taxi but Pedro waited for us! It was so kind of him. We were very safe but still got us really close to the sights. I really recommend going for the sunset tour. This tour is a must do.

Rui Pedro was awesome! Very friendly and kind, he showed me all the marks, even tough I was the only costumer on the boat! I enjoyed the views and the sunset was amazing. And he even took pictures of me. I recommend 😊

Beautiful Sunset Tour

Our family enjoyed the sunset tour. We saw a lot of sea caves and coastline. The tour guides were really kind and informative. They accommodated multiple languages during our tour and provided a smooth and safe ride. They paused to allow everyone to enjoy the sunset. Very peaceful moment.

A wonderful and informative sunset tour

This is a small company doing a small-size group tours with a personal touch. I did the sunset tour, there were 9 of us on the boat. The skipper/guide spoke several languages and pointed out interesting things along the way to Ponta da Piedade, completed with some history facts. He took us to several of the caves, which was a wonderful experience. All in all this was a lovely way to spend an early evening. I definitely recommend.

Memorable boat ride at sunset
A great experience with an awesome tour guide. Rui was very responsible and used many ways to inform us about the time change (text, call, email) very responsive when i called him to check the address.
He ( the tour operator) was local and told us stories about each spot, super skilful in navigating the boat.
The address was a bit tricky to find, i suggest to post an exact pin to the location on the listing.

Perfekt sunset experience
It was just a beautiful trip. Small group and a perfect little boat so we could go into all the caves and stay there so that everyone got their pictures and videos. Loved it, thank you
