We had an amazing time on the trip out to the Benagil caves. Our guide Roger was very knowledgable and Reggie our driver was an excellent boat handler, taking us in and out of the many caves we viewed. The views on the way to Benagil and back were breathtaking especially as my wife and I were in the front seats. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun way to spend a couple of hours on a fun and unique tour experience.

I loved my experience with BlueFeet!
I did the Benagil cave with Jim&Luis and the dolphin experience with Keith. They were all very professional, fun, interesting, knowledgeable, caring too.
You’re in a speed boat with a small group, which I appreciate cause your experience gets more personal. I’d recommend to bring a jacket cause it gets cold with the wind (even if it’s hot and sunny!), they have blankets for you otherwise. It’s comfortable, you’re like horseback riding on the sea, it’s fun haha
I got the chance to see the common dolphins and the bottle nose dolphins (which you don’t see everytime they say!), we even saw a hammerhead shark! They are respectful of the animals and I like that it’s a smaller boat (the big ones of other companies get too close from the dolphins in my opinion… I was scared they would hurt the animals…)
I was a bit disappointed of the Benagil cave, because there was so much tourists, I preferred the other caves that they showed us, it was magical! Some looked surreal and untouched nature! Much more beautiful and interesting to see!

It started with a recommendation of Blue Fleet from a women that I met walking the beach. I found the kiosk by the Marina and spoke with Anja who shared information on the various trips. The weather the next few days looked promising so I booked the Benagil cave trip. My travel companion opted for the Grotto trip. The scheduled day arrived and it was sunny and warm. John was our guide and told us what the plan was for the trip. The boat was expertly navigated by Regis. We rode for about 25 minutes along the shore as John described the area. We approached the caves and entered a number of them and took in the beautiful colors snapping man pictures. It was amazing how Regis was able to get us in the caves with the strong waves and current. We did get a little wet but it was worth it. I highly recommend Blue Fleet.

Absolutely lovely trip with guide John and the captain(name?). We had a perfect blue sky day with calm seas. Trip to cave took about 25 minutes along the lovely, interesting Portugal coast. After passing many other boats, kayakers, and stand up paddle boarders we arrived at the cave. It looked on arrival that it might be a bit of a cluster to enter but it was handled with ease amongst the vessels. You enter and it’s just a fantastic mix of color and light. The hole casts a stream of light into the cave, providing for some lovely photos-if you can maneuver around your fellow passengers. Everyone had a chance to take many pics during our time in the cave and John was game for taking many photos of folks sitting on the bow with the cave in the background. Upon our departure, an added bonus. We were able to join other boats in viewing a small pod of dolphins complete with calves. Got some great views as they cruised the cost. The only drawback to our trip was that the boat we used had seat that were akin to getting into a saddle-no real seat/chair as with other boats we saw. These were quite uncomfortable, especially towards the end. And there is a very tight amount of space between the seats.
But I still highly recommend Blue Fleet for your trip to the cave.

Fantastic boat tour down to coast to visit the Benagil cave. The boat was very comfortable and the trip down the coast was stunning. As it is not the busiest season for visitors, we were able to experience the interior of the Benagil cave from the boat for an extended period of time. We also visited a number of different caves as well as the beautiful grottos in the area. The crew was great and provided a very smooth ride and great information along the way. For travelers this time of year, be prepared with a warmer jacket for the ride. Surprisingly, we didn't get wet at all but it can get windy as you travel to and from Lagos. I would highly recommend this experience with BlueFleet.

We took a tour with Blue Fleet today to see the Benegil caves. I was nervous about being on a small boat as I was not sure if I would get seasick. The tour was amazing. We saw many caves and towns along the coast. We took a morning tour as I had read it was better for "sensitive people", I think this is because the water is usually more calm in the morning. Our team was John the tour guide and Reggie the boat captain. They both did an amazing job. John explained about all the caves, cliffs and towns we passed. He had a great sense of humor and was very informative. Reggie was a master at getting the boat in and out of the caves. even in the pitch dark. I can not say enough about this tour, It was worth every cent.

Highly recommended! We booked our tickets online which was really simple, and the whole trip was well planned and professionally run.
Our skipper (Antonio) and guide (Fea - might have the spelling wrong!) were excellent! Antonio spoke Portuguese and English and made sure to point out everything of interest. I have no idea how he got the boat into the tiny spaces he did, but he managed it expertly!
We felt completely safe during the trip and it was a fabulous experience. There are LOTS of boat companies advertising grotto trips, but we highly recommend Blue Fleet

We loved our tour out to Algar de Benagil with BlueFleet. It's a fast trip directly out to Benagil further from the coast. Benagil was obviously really busy with many boats trying to get a view, and while it was an impressive sight, we enjoyed the rest of the tour even more. The ride back involved going into multiple other caves and going closer to shore and seeing the little towns along the way. Our guide also had a perfect balance of informational and just letting us enjoy the ride. Highly recommend this tour if staying in Lagos.

We really enjoyed the experience overall. The seating was “saddle style” (i.e. straddle a seat) which was not the most comfortable—be ready for a numb behind at the end of the 2 hours!
You don’t leave the boat at any time, but the boat slows down/stops in the various caves and grottoes for picture opportunities. The driver calls out the name of each one, but that’s about it in terms of information provided.
I found the rock formations absolutely beautiful and took about a million pictures!

This was a fantastic way to see the coastline, and especially all the caves and grottos along the way. Bengali was beautiful, but so were many of the other (less crowded) caves. Our tour guide, Jon, was great and gave highlights in multiple languages to accommodate guests who spoke English, French and Spanish. Highly recommended tour.

The Benagil Tour is the ideal tour for people looking for a bit of adrenaline and to get a good prespective from the Coast between Lagos and Benagil.
Upon the tour we usually enter not only the main cave, but also a few others in the area, which do not stay behind in terms of beauty.
