Amazing experience with expert guide who helped us negotiate the rough parts in the trail and gave us commentary on geographic and historic features along our way. The sights were amazing at every turn and we had time to enjoy the spectacular scenery and take photos. We were so glad we chose to take this guided tour to help us complete this bucket list item with great memories that will last forever!

Loved it! This experience is the Algarve at its best! The kayaks are open enough to make getting in and out easy…even for my partner who has limited knee flexibility. Our Guide( Bruno) and the team were organized and quick making it so easy to launch and unload. Friendly, informative and seeing the caves from inside them is so beautiful, and ,silent compared to the power boats. A fantastic eco tour. I fully recommend this tour and Brotherooz.

Caio was incredible as a guide. He gave us the geology of the cliffs and caves in the area and was very engaged with the people in the group. We felt it was informational and fun all at the same time.

This is a definite highlight! The tour is beautiful everywhere you look. The meet up was a breeze. João was helpful by showing me the train to take from Faro and train station to get off. The conversation, great stories and historical facts and fiction were very entertaining. A sweet part of the Algarve. A great hike! We had a break in the shade and had delicious smoothies, fruit. We had an amazing experience on this tour with João. The hike was the perfect length of time and intensity and the vistas were absolutely spectacular. We learned so much about the region and the history of all the majestic sights we were seeing. I saw some travelers hiking on their own but in my opinion you are missing so much of the experience without a guide. An added bonus was that João took amazing photos of us among these beautiful backdrops that he shared after the hike, along with tips and recommendations for the remainder of our travels in the area. This experience was a highlight of our time in the Algarve and I could not recommend it more highly.

From the start to the finish this was an amazing experience! Caio was an amazing guide and was very informative. As we had booked a sunrise tour, it was quite dark as we climbed down to the beach but got lighter as we prepared to paddle. My sister (63) and I (50) were the oldest in the group but we were able to keep up. Would not recommend if this was the first time kayaking as there are some maneuvers in the caves you must do. Seeing the sun come up on the water by these cliffs and caves is a magical experience. Highly recommend.

A kayak experience with one of best scenery we've ever seen. In addition to Benagil cave (note: while you'll kayak into the cave, you aren't allowed to disembark and walk inside in order to preserve the fragile natural beauty of the cave), we also kayaked into other natural sea caves and through some tunnels. Our guide, Francisco, was very professional and informative. At each cave, he would explain the geological processes behind the cave's formation and point out other natural features such as the fossils embedded in the limestone. We also appreciated how he took pains to explain how fragile the Algarve environment was, and how important it was for tourism to be managed sustainability. He was also meticulous about the group's safety and would scout certain caves and tunnels to make sure it was safe and feasible for the kayaks to enter (conditions that change due to factors like the tides, unstable rocks, etc). The kayaking distance was a little further than anticipated but the waters were so calm going out that it was incredibly pleasant (tide was against us going back in, but it was still manageable). Some things to note: - Make sure you get the right meeting point! Our meeing point was at Parking Praia de Carvalho (near Clube Atlantico), but we got the wrong one and went to the one near O Litoral restaurant -- after an urgent Bolt journey we arrived with only 2 minutes to spare (they WILL leave without you if you're not on time). - Even in early Sept, it's COLD at 6.30am. Make sure you have a jacket. - They use 2-seater open-top kayaks (non-fibreglass) so you WILL get wet. Make sure you kayak in something you can get wet in. Overall, the kayaking conditions + amazing sunrise views + awesome guide + photos made this an unforgettable and valuable experience, provided you can get up at that early hour!

We had a blast! We had read that the tour first in the morning was best because of the sunrise. Sure we had to wake up early but it was worth it. If you’re told to arrive 30 minutes before the actual tour, do it. There is a lot of preparation before hitting the water. The guides were on time and provided a good amount of direction. The pace was comfortable and we immediately were able to paddle into the caves. According to Strava, we covered about 2.5 miles total. The sunrise and how the rays hit the walls made the trip amazing. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Francesco is a great guide. He led the group with humour and control so we were all comfortable paddling on the ocean. It was good fun and the sights are now beautiful memories. The scenery is truly awesome. I would recommend it. The kayaks are comfortable and we never worried about tipping. This group should be your choice if you want a tour to remember.

Joao was an amazing guide. He was personable, passionate, informative, prepared and patient. His passion for nature and people was evident. He connected with all of us both, individually and collectively. I highly recommend Joao.

This kayak trip had the most stunning scenery. We chose the sunrise kayak and were so glad we did as it provided great photo opportunities and we didn’t have to share the area with a lot of other tourists. The distance was manageable and there was plenty of breaks to enjoy the scenery and take photos. Our guide Caio was a geologist, so was able to share a lot of interesting information about the formation of the landscape.

We loved this hike with Joao from Brotherootz. The scenery is stunning and Joao was great at guiding us along the track. He knew all the best spots for photos and took lots for us to help us remember our amazing morning. He also provided fruit and water at the halfway point. He was full of information and was very passionate about the area.

We had a wonderful time! We booked the 7:00 am tour due to the water being calmer first thing in the morning. Egas was our guide- he was great!! He had a lot of patience and told us lots of stories, history of the coast. They took some great pics of us also ! Just one thing to be aware - there are several steps to get done to the beach. It is all so worth it!! We would definitely do this tour again!!
