- Maruba0 contributionsDisappointing not to sail into the caveSix of us booked the 3 hour sailing the afternoon of Christmas Eve. We had booked for 2pm but sailed at 1pm instead. It was only by chance we discovered it was departing early or we might have missed it! The trip was just a choppy sailing along the coast as far as the Benagil cave. We thought we would sail into the cave but didn't get very near at all. There was commentary on the way there, but not much to say on the return. Towards the end of the trip each passenger was given a paper cup with fizz. Not sure if that is usual or was a special treat for Christmas. As it was a full sailing there were not really enough seats to have a choice where to sit. The crew were pleasant, but it wasn't the most exciting boat trip and at 30 euros each a bit expensive for what it was. Perhaps it's better in the summer?Written January 10, 2025
- 375nikolettp0 contributionsVery nice tour 😊The communication and payment went very easy, the tour was well organised, the team was also very kind and helpful 😊 Unfortunately we didn't see the Benagil cave "fully", maybe the water was too low or it was too windy, but we just went half way in the cave. I was sitting at the very front so I could see a little peace of sky. Although it was beautiful I was a little bit disappointed, but it's not the crew's mistake, they can't influence the weather. I would still recommend the tour, because it was well organised and the price was fair too.Written November 28, 2024

Funniest thing was that I did get a bit seasick as the water was a bit choppy, once I had my champagne I got a lot better. - Ashley2015280 contributionsSuch a fun dayHad the best day! This trip is very highly recommended. The group size was nice and small so it made it easy to chat and get to know everyone. The crew were superb and really friendly. The yacht was great with great amenities and super comfy. The trip in itself was such a good one, we saw so much and the beach bbq was just incredible. The food was lovely, plenty of it and so tasty! Highly, highly recommend for a brilliant trip out.Written October 16, 2024

It was absolutely brilliant from start to finish, and the crew was lovely, very helpful, and informative. There is so much tour for the money you pay. I would recommend this trip to anybody who is looking through the wide variety of cave and sea trips that are offered at the street agencies or online. Crew was really friendly and nice. They really put an effort in fulfilling this trip's purposes, went as much inside the caves as possible and we were also able to see the dolphines. Definitely bring some extra jacket with you, because it could get quite chilli on the sea.

Our family (with children ages 7 & 9) had the best time! We all agreed it was our favorite part of our 9 day trip to the Algarve. The men in charge of the boat were wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable, and safe. We saw two dolphins and then went on to see the coastline and caves. Benagil Cave was incredible! We were able to get very close to the inside without leaving the boat. They even let everyone in the boat jump in for a quick 10 minute swim. The entire excursion from start to finish was incredible. We’ve traveled all over the world and we would definitely recommend this boat trip to anyone.

The crew were very friendly, boat was nice & comfortable & not too crowded. Lovely greeting by the crew & asked what language you spoke so that they could relay information about the trip in your language. We did get to see a large pack of dolphins & get many pictures & videos, they were really close up. But they did explain as they’re wild animals it’s not always guaranteed, but that’s a given. It was quite cloudy & chilly for the first hour & the crew had spare jackets for the people that were cold onboard, I thought that was a nice touch. We then visited the caves & rock formations along the coast, with the guide giving some information on each one. All in all an enjoyable trip

My family and I went on the, ‘Dolphin Search and Caves trip’ on the 15/07/2022. The price was €40 per adult which was very expensive for the tour we got. The water was choppy and many passengers were sea sick. The boat did not have enough room for all of my family and some members were sitting at the very back in crew members seats, they also got soaked by the sea water in these seats! We did not see any dolphins and could not properly hear any information about the caves as the sound system was not loud enough . We had booked to go on the 6 hour boat tour with BBQ but it was cancelled twice so we were offered a spot on the other boat tour. I am still waiting to receive my refund. I would not recommend this Boat Trip to families.

Amazing experience, we saw 2 dolphins together, which was amazing as we were pre warned that dolphins aren’t guaranteed (we realised this). The crew were very friendly and informative, we went into the Benagil cave and stopped for everyone to take photos, we then went along the coastline to see all the other caves around, we then stopped close to the Marina for a swim but had to cut it short due to a large jelly fish joining us 🪼 Honestly worth the money, we paid €40 each and it was exactly 2.5 hours out on the boat. You can purchase water and larger on the boat and there is also a toilet.

On departure our guide told us that dolphins had been spotted in a particular location by a returning crew so we would go directly to that place and return via the caves and coast.
The boat was very comfortable and not so fast that we would be bounced all over the place. A good medium.
We saw many dolphins but as luck would have it, mostly on the other side of the boat. All outside the control of the crew.
My only criticism is that when we checked in we were told to meet the receptionist 15 minutes before departure and she would take us to the craft.
We did this to discover that we were the only 2 people!
When we got to the craft we discovered that everyone else was already on board and they were waiting for us!!
Even though we had deliberately arrived very early we were last to board and so had no choice in seating. Not a big thing in and of itself but we did feel disappointed.
Overall a very good excursion and would highly recommend it but next time, look out for the craft and make our own way to it, rather than waiting to be shepherded last.

The receptionist at the marina, captain and crew were all lovely. They spoke in four different languages to ensure everyone on the boat could understand the safety instructions and the tour guide. I ended up seasick as I’m currently pregnant but they went above and beyond to ensure that I was okay and had everything I needed. The views were great and the tour guide was very informative.

I heartily recommend this company and the tour to everyone!
The trip was nice, long, with beautiful views, the crew was very smiling, sociable, helpful, with a lot of knowledge about the sea and dolphins. We were able to see several herds of dolphins! The crew also approaches the dolphins with due respect - in silence, without scaring the individuals, and the observation of herd did not last too long, so as not to stress the animals. The observation of a loooooong shore of the beaches was very interesting and beautifull as well, and the only opportunity to see it from that perspective - from he boat.

This is a great tour for families with younger kids. It is not a raft, and not a speed boat but rather a comfortable ride for all ages. They even gave us priority boarding as we were with kids.
Do take a sweater / cover with you as it gets chilly further in the water, the staff also offered jackets for the kiddos however being prepared is better. The guide was great and gave us a lot of good info on many rock formations. Dolphins are a plus but don't count on it!
Tip: sit on the right side if you can 😊

Really enjoyable experience with my wife and daughter. Very easy to book and get to at the marina.
The crew were top notch and greeted every person personally.
The boat is big enough and has a toilet on board.
They sell drinks and snacks also.
The tour itself is really interesting and the guide was very informative.
We got lucky and saw a large pod of dolphins 🐬
Would recommend for anyone.
