We were extremely happy with our sailing trip. The staff on the boat did an outstanding job in making us feel welcome once on board and actually came and spoke to each family after the introduction was done. We did the 10:00 cruise so the sea was calm and nice. On the Mara, our catamaran boat was super smooth and it cut through water with ease. On the boat you can walk around and either sit on deck, inside or lie on the net in the front. I would recommend lying in the net, then that is the only thing between you and the sea. The cruise took around 3 hours and at no point was it boring! The staff sells drinks, chips and candy on board so the only thing you need to take with you is a towel, if you want to jump into the ocean when the boat takes a short stop. Looking at the speed boats that roared past us during our relaxing cruise, I was happy that we chose this cruise. The people on those speed boats were all strapped in and couldn’t go from their seat. We had our three kids, age 7-11-17, and they all enjoyed the cruise. The two young ones were able to steer the boat on the return trip. I would highly recommend this cruise if you want to enjoy the cost line of Albufeira. Next time I’m going on the BBQ trip!!! Then the boat stops for BBQ on a private beach 😎

Starting off at marina Albufeira, the 3 hour cruise on the Mara catamaran was again fantastic, second time we have been with Joal and his amazing crew who are very knowledgeable, helpful and explain all pre departure safety instructions clearly, great catamaran, spacious, clean and the best is that it’s not packed , unlike some other boats I saw leaving , so definitely good for the covid social distancing too. Stopping along the many coves the crew explain each of them and the history of the different areas , so much to see , you go right in to the coves , spectacular, refreshment brought around to you so you will never be thirsty , then on the return leg they stop for a swim out of one of the bays. Simply the best trip in the area , excellent value for money.

Amazing catamaran cruise on the Mara with an incredible crew! The trip was well worth it, especially for the price. The crew was extremely friendly and very professional. Daniella, one of the crew members, was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. The captain spoke 3 languages and translated each site in Portuguese, English, and French. The boat is stocked with white wine, rose, and super bock for purchase ($3.00 each for the white wine and rose). The captain anchored after the Benagil Caves for passengers to take a dip in the ocean, if they wanted. Highly recommend! The views are amazing and it's a very enjoyable ride.

Very well organized. Lots of people on the catamaran, but that's to be expected in August. Wasn't overcrowded. Really nice relaxing and laid back sail along the coast. Captain of the catamaran expertly manoeuvres into the cave entrances somehow. Excellent way to see what there is to see vs. kayak, paddleboard or bodyboard. Crew are attentive and incredibly friendly.

This tour boat was very good value for money. We went as a family of four and I recking this is something kids get to enjoy a lot. The crew is very professional although a bit too geared into pleasing their guests, which, as my husband put it, might give a 'gigolo' vibe. If anything, the coastline of Albufeira was a bit of a let down compared to other places I have visited in the past. Obviously this is nothing that can be blamed on the company and crew!

Great boat, great staff, great scenery, great overall experience! Highly recommend because the crew are knowledgeable, speak lots of languages which was super impressive. One of the crew was lively, friendly with lots of energy which was great for the people on board. They were fabulous with my kids too! Thank you

Lovely views of the coastline and caves, due to the choppy waters we couldn’t go into the caves for safety reasons. Lots of guests suffered with sea sickness whilst on the trip, however the crew were extremely caring and ensured they looked after everyone. Crew regularly went around checking in that all guests were okay, offering drinks and snacks, and explaining what we were going past. Crew did a demonstration of life jackets and explained everything so guests were fully informed. The music in the background added to the lovely atmosphere! Would definitely recommend.

So easy to book, and great communication from and staff, our tour day was changed because of a rain in the forecast and it was such an easy process. Absolutely amazing, friendly and knowledgeable staff, incredible sights and time to jump into the ocean.
On the return I started to feel sea sick and the staff took such good care of me.
If you are thinking of booking this tour my advice is to do it!

This was an amazing trip we set sail at 4.45 which was perfect for the time of year (August) we sailed along the coast line And entered all the caves on route. The boat was to full capacity but didn’t feel over crowded. It’s a catamaran so the seating is limited with seating on the net area and outside of the boat. It was great for our children but a bit uncomfortable on my behind!! The staff were super friendly. Really enjoyable

Hi, we are a party of 14 women. Would we need to hire the boat privately to use on 25th September as I have selected the option for us and it has accepted us on. Also do you have a toilet on board and is there an option to buy 1 or 2 drinks per person whilst on board. Thank you.

The Catamaran cruise we went on had about 40 people on it , so no need to private hire . They had a toilet on board and the crew came round serving drinks.
It is a fantastic trip and you'll have a great time
