    Best experience!
We did this with another couple. We all seen things and got videos and pictures that prove it’s definitely haunted. We will do it again!

    Disappointed
Well, I wasn’t going to leave a review, because I didn’t have anything nice to say, but after seeing The owner comment on Darrell’s review thinking it was my group, I had to. We showed up on time, 2 women and 3 children, it is not the nicest neighborhood with a liquor store across the street. 8:03 I called tour company because guide was not there. Owner told me guide was there talking to 5 people on tour. The 5 people were in my car. So lied to me. Told me it only works if I get out of my car. 2 women and 3 children in shady area. No thanks Guide finally did show up and was very angry because owner sent him numerous angry texts to get to the F***ing tour spot. Guide showed us these Guide was new to area, 2 months, and made comment that he was suppose to be in strand tonight because that is where he makes his money. These are things that shouldn’t be said on a tour like this Tour could be good it they work out kinks and make people feel secure in unsecured surroundings

    Disappointed
Disappointed. We took this tour last year and the tour guide was informative and entertaining. Gave a lot of history of the families buried there. She also explained the symbolism behind the markings on various tombstones. Our grandkids were visiting so I thought they may enjoy it. Jake was ill prepared and read from his phone. I told more stories about families buried there than he did. I booked this tour because it had advertised the Lady in Black. If I had known she was not doing the tour, I would have cancelled. The reason for 3 stars the grandkids were entertained. Other than that, was very disappointing and a waste of 80.00.

    Best Location for Photographic Anomalies
Love adventures like this and wasn’t disappointed! Lady In Black was rich with Galveston’s fascinating and tragic history. Take lots of photos and closely examine them later. One of the “Live” shots I took was unremarkable to look at but the audio was chilling. Clearly a man speaking German and 2 children saying their names. Also captured multiple orbs and a man’s face looking out from inside a mausoleum. Yes, attaching all.

    A big negative for me.
Let me preface this review by stating the following: I am and have been a paranormal investigator for over 20 years. I belonged to a paranormal group in Houston for a few years before going solo. I have been given special thanks in a book for providing information about hauntings in the Houston area. I know a good tour when I go on them. I also understand that history is part of the tour. You can't understand why there is a haunting or a ghost if you don't know its history. Taking this tour was akin to having a history lesson given by the "Charlie Brown" teacher from the Peanuts (younger people, just YouTube it). The tour guides seemed like they had no passion for the history. It was forced and very unintriguing. My young nieces were unimpressed, as was I. We left about thirty minutes into the tour and lost $75. I have no clue where these good reviews are coming from. I guess if you're a "Ghost Adventure" lover, then this tour is for you, but if you're serious about the paranormal, I would steer clear. Find a tour with guides who are passionate and entertaining and who are skilled in storytelling.

    Very Interesting Tour
Annette was amazing. The tour was very interesting in spite of the extreme noise of the strand on a Saturday night. I can’t wait to come again for another tour.

The Lady in Black was knowledgeable on the History of Galveston. We did capture some ORBS .. I took many photos and need to go through them again. We loved her and her humorous nature. I highly recommend going ..this is our 3rd year going to Historic Galveston Ghost Tours for our daughter's Birthday...we did 2 others one at Old Town Springs and Houston Herman Park ..

    Ghost tour
Dr.wicked wizard was very funny! He was great and helped with photos. My only thing was this tour is just to take photos pretty much. I wish there was a little more history involved and maybe stories of how certain people had passed.

Spooky Friday 13th on the Strand
Booked this event for Friday 13th, wanted to do something spooky and fun on the island. Aaron was our tour guide, and we had the best time! Learned ton of history about our island. Aaron, thanks for the great experience!

Arrived in Galveston with my wife and 2 children 2hrs prior to our tour. It was 35 degrees ,rainy and windy. Contacted the operator and asked to reschedule to the next day.
No improvement in weather. Contacted operator and THEY suggested rescheduling, again.
It snowed...in Galveston.
Despite the unusual weather, tour refused to refund our money. I suggest if you want to take this tour, register the day of in order to avoid weather issues because they sure as hell are gonna keep your money come hell, high water, or a historic arctic freeze.

The fact that you canceled 2 hours before the tour started meant that your tour guide was already on duty. And your tour guide was ready to do the tour despite the weather. We offered to reschedule the tour for you ,you pick the next day the next day .the weather wasn't to your liking either and we suggested to reschedule again. You never asked for a refund. Unfortunately the first time you wanted to reschedule was two hours before the tour but in an effort to help you we agreed to reschedule at your convenience. The Arctic blast hadn't started yet. during the storm we happily refunded everybody's money because we weren't able to do the tours. However we did to do the tour on both nights that you chose not to come. And we still will be happy to reschedule at your convenience next time you're in town. if you would have canceled instead of rescheduled we would have been happy to refund your money. But as it is a tour guide was on duty both nights to conduct your tour the fact that you didn't have the proper clothing is not our responsibility

I will never see Galveston the same way ever again. I have been coming to Galveston since I was a baby (now 50) and until I learned the history of the city, it was just fishing, the beach, passing the old houses and cemetery. I toured with my sister and her family and had a great time. I was creeped out but it was fun. She and I will be making a trip soon to take the Strand and Red Light district tours. Houston is only an hour away. I also took pictures and all I can say is "Wow". The tour guide was awesome, very informed and hilariously entertaining.

We enjoyed our tour with Jeremy. He obviously loves his job and delivers an incredible amount of historical knowledge interlaced with bits of interesting trivia and sprinkled with the whispers of Galveston’s spirits. He is so enthusiastic and passionate that you cannot help but get caught up in his tales as you walk the dark streets of the city. My only suggestion would be a bit of editing as sometimes there was simply too much information to absorb. As a tour guide myself, I have a pitcher of information in my head but only present a cup-full to my tour participants knowing they will only remember the amount in a shot glass. Thank you for a great evening, Jeremy!

I’m sure there is a reason so many of the good reviews only have one review ever. I travel a lot and have done many tours, this was the worst ever. Jeremy just regurgitated information like he memorized it and talked so fast you could not understand most of it. I can understand why another review said they thought he was on drugs. It was very strange how he bounced from side to side and seemed very anxious the entire time. It was in no way enthusiasm for the subject. Make no mistake, we were not tired and had just had a nice dinner, we arrived to the island that afternoon. When we were at Ashton Villa, Jeremy never said the name of the place! There were three of us and we all agreed Jeremy was awful. I would find another tour and save your money.

Sorry you were disappointed. You start off by implying that we somehow manipulated our reviews. That certainly isn't true. But a review like yours triggers an immediate investigation and review. Tour guides want to have a wonderful tour and provide a awesome experience for their guest. In this case Jeremy felt like he wasn't connecting. The harder he tried the more nervous he got. As a matter of fact he called me immediately after this tour and said that no matter what he did he just wasn't successful. Coupled with his New York accent he probably was nervous and hard to understand. Thank you for writing. I've asked Jeremy to come over today and talk about this. To imply that he was on drugs is a big leap and a very unfair assessment. The question is why you didn't ask him to slow down?. At any rate we don't want you to be disappointed. Please ask Viator for immediate refund which I will immediately approve. I hope the rest of your trip to Galveston was more enjoyable.

Very interesting and informative tour. Tyler was our guide and provide great commentary and plenty of anecdotes including a few personal stories. He was very personable and engaged the small group at each stop. We highly recommend the late hour tours (ours was 10pm) so that the darkness naturally adds to the stories and overall ambiance.

Our family came a day early for our cruise and wanted to experience a family friendly event. Tyler our tour guy was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of Galvestons history and also had some comic twists in his presentation. Some of the stories were very interesting and intriguing. Our 15 year old daughter who complains about a lot of our family events really got into the tour.

I've lived in the area my whole life, and I've only learned a fraction of this history behind Galveston. Last night, I learned a whole lot more than I had thought possible about the horrific history of this beloved city. My fiancé and I took the tour because she is new to Texas and the are and I just enjoy history and paranormal in general. Jeremy was the greatest tour-guide that I have ever had the privilege to walk with and listen to. His knowledge of the area is extensive, and his speaking skills are superb. He intuitively knows how to work the crowd and make great conversation. I would love to see more of his work in other tours as well as the same rout he is currently on and wish him the best. Great guy. 10/10 would recommend the tour to anyone who asks! And maybe even some who don't.

Jeremy is currently working on a combination red light district tour and strand ghost tour that's going to be late night adults only 10 and 12 so be watching for that I think you'll enjoy it as much as you did this tour. He's really been working hard on it and practicing with me all week it's going to be a great tour. I look forward to seeing you and again thank you for writing

Jeremy was our tour guide and he was fun and full of energy!! It rained on our tour and most of the people left due to the rain. We had fun running and walking in the rain and it added to the eerie stories that were told. The rain did not phase our tour guide! If you don’t mind walking a good pace to fit in all of the locations then this would be a good tour for you.
